Affordable Cruise in Beautiful Ha Long Bay”
Firstly, Ha Long Bay is BEAUTIFUL - its a must see for any trip to Vietnam! There are possibly hundreds of cruise operator for Ha Long Bay, Glory is actually the "affordable" boat of luxury cruise operator Pelican. That means there are small touches of luxury on this reasonably priced cruise. The cabin is petite-posh and food tasty. The staff are friendly but the manager/guide seems overly occupied with running the crew/cruise to actually provide any explanation of the Bay or Vietnam (e.g. history, culture, cuisine, etc) in general. That prevented a 5-star rating in our opinion. The boat, setting and beautiful views makes it romantic enough for proposal or honeymoon. Not the cheapest cruise but still good value for money.

Best so far, but with some catches”
The trouble with reviews is they've only done one tour and have a subjective opinion. After living in Hanoi for a while, I've now done 4 separate trips to Halong Bay. This by far has been the best of all of them, but not without a couple of cons. PROS - The food was a standard above anything else I'd eaten on any other Halong Bay cruise. - The staff were wonderfully attentive - Activities were well structured. They're more or less the same on every cruise. All at once. - Didn't stop at the souvenir sweatshop that most tours spend 30+ minutes at (each way) - High quality transport CONS - Need to pay for water with your meal. Drinks are on the high side of average. - Transport is included with pretty much any other cruise. They charge extra for this, which left a bit of a dirty taste in our mouth. - The tour guide that came to take us to the caves couldn't enter the cave due to heart problems. Every other group had a guide to explain so another guide should have been provided.

Amazing - Highly recommend it”
Had an amazing time on the Glory cruise. Our balcony room was amazing. They included free transfers from hanoi and also free kayaking which a lot of other cruises charge for. The lunch on the first day was the best. Dinner wasn't as great. We got to kayak into one of the caves all to ourselves which was amazing. The cruise wasn't full of people which made it more intimate and relaxed unlike the other cruises. Overall great experience. Highly recommend it.

Value for money cruise”
Halong Glory cruise was a medium size boat with a capacity of about 20-30 pax. We love the cruise as it is a small cozy cruise with not too many people in one boat. And because it's a small cruise, the staffs pay special attention to all the guests. The room comes with 2 large glass windows which allow us to enjoy and wake up to the beautiful view of Halong. There is not a dull moment as the tour is packed with fun activities like kayaking, cave explorations, cooking class and taichi. We had fun as the cruise was the best experience we had in Hanoi.

"FUNtastic Experience"”
My experience on the Glory Legend cruise ship was FUNtastic, “taking a cruise” has long been on my bucket list, so it was good to finally give it a try. Here are just some of the many observations I had while taking a cruise: Found this cruise online and the itinerary was the main attraction. Without any doubt this cruise was up there with the best of them. The package at 100$ for an overnight cruise is such a great value and we certainly got our money’s worth without going mad. The staffs on board were very helpful and friendly. The surprise birthday fruit carving you got in the dining area was really perfect. Thank you so much. Overall a great experience for my birthday and without doubt I would choose Glory Legend again.

Nice adventure with great views”
He have a nice experience taking the 3 days / 2 nights tour at halong glory cruise. The only exception was the weather which was terrible (cold, cloudy and windy). But the staff was friendly. They prepare us a surprise since we where on Honeymoon. The room was decorated with flowers and fruits, and they offered drinsk for free at the 1st night dinner.

Choose Glory Cruises! Above my expectation!”
Great staffs, knowledge guide, prompt service, especially the food was so great!! The cruise provided a service that made my stay completely relaxed, yet stimulating. One tip for whom wanna go to Halong bay, you should bring a good camera to record the memories there, so incredible! :) Highly recommend this tour to others who wanna come to Halong bay, I should have booked 2 nights. You guys made me feel sastified, though single traveller. Such a wonderful trip!!

Great Junk, Great Service!”
We were well taken care for during the whole journey starting from pick up at Hanoi Old Quarters. Transfer was a smooth one all the way till we check in at the Cruise. Tour Guide and staff was extremely warm, helpful and very attentive to our needs. Itinerary for the days were well planned with out being to taxing. All rooms come with large window with fantastic view of Halong Bay. Room's cleanliness were up to standard, firm bed, and modern bathroom. Couldn't not find anything to be complaint as everything was very well taken care for. A great experience!

Fantastic staff, very relaxing & amazing food”
Had such a great time, couldn't recommend this boat company more. Obviously there are some much better quality boats as in 5 star but our rooms were nice, modern and clean so we couldn't complain. The food was to die for however if you don't really eat fish then the option is limited. The staff were so attentive and helped in any way they could. We did the 2 night stay which gave us the extra day to go on a day boat and relax as the first day was very rushed as there was loads to do. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who would like to do a boat cruise in Halong bay

No real com mplaints but not Fabulous”
I don't really know how to review this cruise. It wasn't bad but it wasn't absolutely excellent. I can't really complain about it but it did leave me feeling a little dissatisfied, for no real tangible reason. The cabins were great and we got complimentary wine and fruit which was a lovely touch. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cruise itself being in Halong Bay was breathtaking. Day trips were either super busy or waiting for things to happen. I would recommend the company. They were fine but I just wouldn't say amazing.

Great boat with some nice touches”
Halong Glory Cruise is a lovely boat with clean and dry cabins, all a little small but absolutely fine for a one night stay. The area of Halong Bay itself is of course wonderful and scenic and the cave is a must see. The food on the boat is plentiful but a little limited if you are not a fan of seafood and drinks are not included in the price. Overall a good cruise with hard working and friendly staff, a solid 3.5 out of 5.

Nice Cruise”
Nice cruise on the Halong Bay with stops at the floating market and fishing village. Nice to get the option to either go kayaking yourself or go in a bamboo boat with other passengers and sail around the bay and into caves. Stop at the big cave, guided walking tour through the cave, which was a nice experience. Overall a nice cruise at the Halong Bay, the boat seems a little old and could use some renovation - and not the same boat as on the pictures when booking! However, the staff was friendly and the food was good.

A truly pleasant stay in Halong Bay”
The cruise is spacious and very clean. I liked how each room has large sliding windows for us to enjoy the gorgeous limestone cliff view. Facilities were good and staffs were extremely friendly. Hospitality at its best indeed. Would be even better if the itinerary included kayaking at luon cave.

Cruising around Halong Bay was so relaxing and watching the islands and other ships pass by made for a very enjoyable time. The cave visit was a highlight. Good passengers and staff together also made for fun and laughter.

this was a really great way to experience halong bay. the staff was really nice and it was very convenient with transpotation and good meals included. the activities were fun as well, espcially the kayaking if you stay two nights. great accomodations for the price.

Wow 2 days 1 night (to relax add another day), great staff, food omg, drinks at happy hour 2 for 1 ok prices, great boat (Pelican 1 or 2, any one of their boats, great tour, doesn't matter all the same at the end, search the internet well as better prices can be found! for the same thing! Was our 40th wedding anniversry, got upgraded to Queen suite with private deck & private dinner on top deck for the special night, thank you to all the staff. J&M
