Great hotel at good price ”
We enjoyed staying in Ha Long Park Hotel. There’s a big public park next to the hotel. Our children were happily playing the facilities in such a nice weather. Many cafes are available along the front beach for simple meal.

Exceptional”
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good though there was not much variety. We loved the seafood noodles. The chef could speak mandarin. Hotel was located away from the typical touristy area (Halong Park Hotel) hence you get a more local feel. It is located near an upcoming park and near a shopping mall (Vincom Plaza). There are also nice cafe and restaurants just behind the hotel facing the bay. Really value for money.

A very nice hotel in an interesting area. 5 minutes walk to a very new shopping mall, fascinating markets and the good Halong museum. Huge park outside with lots of local activity Rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. Only $2 (ish) by taxi to the jetty for Halong bay cruises.

halong park hotel was a great find. it's a quiet town and nice for a relaxing stay. the staff was helpful in booking tours and very kind, housekeeping in particular. free breakfast was a plus.

Will be a great location in a few years”
They are developing Halong Park and doing up the front, it's a bit of a building site ATM but it'll look fab when they finish it all. Short walk to restaurants and very close to take a walk down the bay front. About 30 mins drive from were the main boat harbour is. Be careful you don't get ripped off by bus companies from Hanoi! We paid to get dropped at hotel and they kicked us off at harbour and we had to pay the same again to get a dodgy taxi to hotel 😕 Otherwise we would of been stuck there, we used Joy Travel for that trip (not a joy whatsoever!) The hotel organised our minibus back to Hanoi and it was a great luxury minibus, unlike the heap we were crammed into on the way down!

Nice hotel in a strange location ”
Big clean rooms, powerful shower, nice breakfast, good helpful staff. Hotel is situated in the town of halong which is up and coming. In a few years there will be more to do there, but apart from the mall about 10 mins walk away there isn't a lot to do. However, they must be expecting things to pick up as the hotel is having an extension at the moment, and it seems they are pretty much doubling in size! Would love to come back in a few years and see the difference.

Nice staffs and good location”
I stayed here with my brother prior to our Halong Bay Cruise. The stay here was great, Veronica the hotel manager is a gem of a person, who really looks out for the guest, she definitely made an impression. I would visit here again. All the staffs are very obliging, overall the stay in this hotel was great - the breakfast was great too.!

Lovely place & staff - terrible smell ”
Really nice hotel with great facilities and a big breakfast spread. Location is around 200,000 Dong away to get to the harbour. But, the hotel is located right by the water and you have beautiful views of many of the islands and the fishing community. It's also right by a nice park. Not tonnes of food options close by, but there is a mall a couple of minutes walk and some local restaurants a but further away. Hotel staff were really good. But the hotel has a bad sewage smell problem in places. Keep your bathroom door shut to avoid making everything smell like a toilet.

Exceptional”
Great location just a few steps to the boardwalk with great views of Halong Bay. We turned quite a few heads being western looking travellers, in an area mostly frequented by only Vietnamese. The ladies at the checkin desk were super friendly. We could not find restaurants or a place for a beer, because we were off season! Rooms are very large and comfortable.

Beyond pleased ”
Couldn't say enough good things about this hotel. The room was amazing and clean. My boyfriend and I rented motobikes so getting places was not an issue. We had a room on the back side which had a view to the ocean and limestones. The staff was very nice and helpful. We have a translator app that became helpful. Remember you are in another country so to expect them to speak English is just plain ignorant. If your traveling be resourceful and don't rely on everyone to help you. I couldn't say enough good things about this hotel. We only booked our room for 2 days to give us time to look around and see if we found something we liked better but we got lucky and found the best place.

We did not expect arriving to such a well-located hotel at all! It is basically in a big park, right by the sea, with many restaurants within walking distance. The room was amazingly spacy and comfortable. The staff speaks quite good English. Recommend!

Nice hotel, friendly staff but super noisy due to construction next door”
We liked the hotel but had to move to another one for the rest of our trip after 5 nights because a new house was being built right next to it. It was super noisy ALL day long, sometime until 8 p.m. The noise literally drove us crazy. Also, the air conditioner in our room didn’t work so it was pretty cold.

Everything was great, but the hotel is not conveniently located. The departure point for boats in Halong Bay is far away. Staff were very helpful and helped us plan some nice trips in the bay.

The room has a great sea view!”
It takes abt 10 mins walk from the hotel to the downtown and the seaside. Surprisingly, the room has an impressive sea view, which i didnt expect before check-in. The receptionists are reaaaaaally nice and ready to help. On top of that, the room rate is quite reasonable!
