A little story during our stay. We've mistakenly booked a fan room, so when we got there we were expecting that we'll be uncomfortable. Our baby Joaqui (a small breed dog - Shi Tzu) was with us. The p”

Despite the negative stuff happened, we had a great experience in Halos Farm.

This place is for those people who want peaceful”

Away from the City, this place will definitely give you a relaxing vacation. Price of the room is so affordable and worth it to stay. The owners of the farm are humble and very accomodating.

We travel almost 1 and half hour from Baler Public Market to the resort. Yes, super nakakapagod. Tric cost 300 pesos. But when we finally reach our destination. I can definitely say, that the place will be worth it to stay for 3d2n. We brought enough foods and water. They do not have resto kasi when we stayed. But the owners will allow you to cook anytime. This place is for those people who want peaceful, relaxing and quiet vacation. Hindi to pwede sa MAARTE and sanay sa hotels. Super okay mag stay sa tree house, nakaka relax yung sounds ng wave. Fresh air, good environment. Sakto lang ang pools for chilling. Super accomodating din yung owners ng farm. Lahat ng needs namin na utensils for cooking supply nila. The best yung place to stay lalo na pag stress ka sa work.

Relatively cheap, hospitable staff, but”

Caring staff! . He doesn't get in your way but is always there to help. Also, mobile data on Globe's network was surprisingly fast despite the far-off location of the hotel.

We took our motorcycles on this trip. However, even with those, it still took 20 minutes to reach the hotel from Baler town. Public transportation should take much longer. For those who want quick access to Baler, this is not the hotel for you. For those on a budget who want peace & quiet, simple but refreshing spring-water pools, and the sound of waves to lull you to sleep, then Halos should do you well. We had the 'tree house' room, which did not have an ensuite toilet. The toilet is a walk down steep bamboo stairs and about 15 steps through a narrow walkway with a steep drop onto the stony beach on one side. I strongly recommend that the owners install a light along that path. Our room had a rudimentary shelf. A very tiny one, considering it sleeps two. It had two rusty nails on which to hang our riding jackets. The rest of our things went on the floor. If the room had more shelves, proper hooks, and a reading light, our stay would have been much better. On our second night, we were upgraded to the 'duplex studio', which is a rudimentary room with concrete walls but with plenty of shelf space, an AC, a kitchen sink, and an ensuite toilet. However, this room is across the highway. Walking there is no problem since the property is small.

Not bad”

They sell good buko pie, staffing good hospitality, good location

Being a foreigner living in a different culture, yes things are different and the people of the local communities are adapting to western ways of life. This hotel gives you both culture and western look at the same time. This hotel is trying to make their hotel for the convenience for all people from all cultures. Are there some stuff can be improved, absolutely. I enjoyed it and hearing nature waves crash along the seashore...

Half satisfied ”

Water viewing, the service, accommodatiion rate

Quiet dissatisfied as it is misleading due to one of their tree house doesn't have a toilet. T.he strong wave in the sea keeps us awake at night. The place need a lot of clean up!
