Value for Money”

We had a 3days/2night stay at Hampton by Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. The rate of the hotel was the "best rates" we got within our budget. Breakfast was inclusive of the rate. It was a continental spread. Although the same was served throughout our stay, we have no complaints because the choices were there. The rooms were very clean and well-kept. There was a free shuttle bus (shared with Crown Plaza Hotel and Holiday Inn) from the airport to the hotel and vice-versa. The drivers of the bus were friendly, always cheerful and very discipline in their drivings. No complaints. Very much recommended!

Great hotel with best service I ever met.”

It was too early arrived at Amsterdam and we are worry whether the hotek stuff will allow us to check in early. Yes, it really surprise us that only stay one night before our next flight. The stuff allow us to have a early check in and also allow us to have the complimentary breakfast (7:30am). I believe it wont be happen in any hotel. Free shuttle that depart every 30mins start 0600-2330 from airport. Thank to Hampton by Hilton.

Convenient”

The service at this hotel was good. Breakfast was really nice. I really enjoyed the coffee. We arrived in the morning and they let us check in early. It was a quieter time of year so it wasn't very busy. We grabbed the shuttle from the airport. Our layover was 24 hours so we checked in and grabbed the shuttle straight back to the airport and then bought a round trip ticket to the central station. At the airport you can pay with credit card or cash. On the other stations you have to have coins I believe. There is a station right outside the hotel as well but we didn't have coins so we took the shuttle back to the airport. Its quick. The room was clean and basic business hotel room setup. The hotel staff spoke English but weren't too helpful with information about the city and we got a bit of attitude from the one staff at the front counter as if we were inconveniencing him with our petty questions. The shuttle driver was the most helpful and was almost giving us a tour and all kinds of info about the area as we were driving around with him. When we booked it wasn't clear about whether or not we had breakfast included. I asked when we arrived and they said "It is standard with all bookings at Hampton by Hilton Hotels, breakfast is always included." Sounds good to me. Overall we liked the stay because it allowed us to get a great sleep and recover from jet lag since it was nice and quiet. It is easy enough to get to the downtown to have a look around and eat but I wouldn't want to stay downtown where it is so noisy. It also allowed us to get to and from the airport quickly (15 minutes) and for free. The shuttles come every 30 minutes. Check in and out was very quick and easy. I would stay here again on my next trip through Amsterdam.

I am a big fan of Hampton Hotel !!”

Me and my wife are the fans of Hampton Hotel, they have the best and comfortable bed out of all the hotels we have visited so far, the room was clean and spacious as well, no doubt i'd go back again, if i had a transit flight at Amsterdam again. The hotel was close to the airport, and of course theres a free shuttle bus from and to the airport, and also, theres a train station right in front of the hotel, where you can hop onto the train (the machine only accepts coins), and head straight to Amsterdam center for fun !!!!

Very pleasant and convenient stay near the airport”

We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton by Hilton Hotel; it's about a 5 minute shuttle ride from the airport and close to a train station which makes it convenient for going into the city. The staff members were friendly and informative and the room was comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Hampton by Hilton. It was a very pleasant experience and we will stay there again next time we are in Amsterdam.

In general, im happy staying at Hampton by Hilton. The breakfast is perfect & i was so happy about it. The only little comment i can give , my room is next to a house keeping room or storage room & i can hear the bang of doors or... all the the time every cleaning hour. I wish the cleaning staffs were very careful while cleaning the rooms, neighbor rooms occupants might still be asleep.

Great Stay”

On our last night of our trip, we stayed here for an easy commute to the airport. The room was well appointed and clean. And easy to get to via train and a small walk from Amsterdam. The hotel also offers a convenient shuttle service to get to the airport.

Value for money.Closer to the airport”

The hotel is just a 15 min ride from the airport. The hotel provides shuttle between the hotel and aiport every 30 minutes. Also, the hotel is located closer to the bus stand and railway station. It takes 20 mins by bus to reach central Amsterdam. If you are a tourist and bought an "I am amsterdam" card , it will not be accepted either on the train or on the GVB (blue bus). You have to buy a separate pass for GVB buses. You will get a direct bus to amtserdam square from the bus stand. The ticket vending machine at the station neither accepts master/ visa card. ALso, you cannot use cash and there are ticket counters at the station. We were told that you can buy tickets inside the train but we didnt want to take a chance.

Pros: Very good price for a 4 star hotel, just 5 minutes walk from the train station, which have a shuttle bus to and from the airport, breakfast are included as well for all bookings. Room are clean and cosy, breakfast were good and hotel surrounding were fresh and quiet. Cons: One of the most weird non addition in the hotel room is that it doesn't include any disposable shower cap, most 4 star hotel includes them, so for those booking this hotel, keep that in mind, a little bit inconvenient for those who need it.

This hotel is not located in Amsterdam and also not close to the Airport either. It’s a 20 mile ride either way. This is located in Hoofddorp. It is misleading to mark the city of this hotel as Amsterdam. Please correct this on your site.

Great location for a few days to explore Amsterdam”

The stay was excellent. Just remember to have plenty of coins if you wish to take the train to Amsterdam Centrum, because the ticket machines DO NOT accept notes. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom had an excellent shower and amenities. One disappointment was the pillows, which were small and deflated easily. Apart from that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Everything would have been perfect but for the cold”

We spent just one night on our way back home, so we needed something close to the airport. There is a shuttle bus that takes you to/from the aiport/hotel so that was great. Breakfast also great. The only thing was, we travelled on january, on minus 0 weather and the room was not preheated. We arrived late at night just to sleep and the room took forever to heat up if it ever did. It actually never got to a comfortable temperature. We slept with all the clothes from our bag on. But the place itself was clean and comfortable. Just maybe not for winter.

The hotel is clean and quiet, with simple free breakfast but without complimentary water for non members . About 8 minutes walk to train station and 10 minutes from station to Amsterdam Central.

Nice room”

The shuttle from the airport was difficult to find and not obvious (hotel is located quite a distance from the airport). However, the staff were friendly and helpful during check-in. Nicely furnished room and comfortable beds with wifi access. Had an overall pleasant stay.

great place for rest”

Great place to relax while on a stopover and waiting to board your plane to your next destination. Very quiet / modern / comfy beds and the rooms are very clean. The hotel offers free airport shuttle service every 15-30 minutes . The staff are friendly and the breakfast is limited but very fresh and good.. Overall a good nights rest till my flight to Asia...Will be back again soon. Thanks Agoda

Convenient to Airport”

Only 15 min. from Schipol Airport by complimentary shuttle bus. Nice room, friendly staff. Breakfast wasn't that great, not a lot of choices. But would definitely stay again.
