Good airport hotel- if the shuttle operated”
Clean rooming, walking distance to supermarket and restaurant, good breakfast
We stayed at this hotel for the fourth time a and had always been entirely satisfied. This time, when we called from the Airport for the shuttle bus, we were told succinctly that the shuttle was out of order and we would have to take a taxi. We did, and the taxi was the worst one we ever had, although it was 45 dollars to get to the hotel. The next morning, we needed to get back to the airport. The receptionist again informed us "No shuttle" and offered to call a taxi for us and for everybody else. There was no effort to rent a bus and transport people to the Hotel, arrange for taxi sharing etc. This time the driver was nice, but for the costs we could have stayed right at the airport in a higher class of hotel. We will not book this hotel again.

Not convenient at all for Newark airport”
The hotel is actually not really far from the airport. It was my key criteria when searching an hotel nearby the airport. But when arriving Newark, it appears there are many hotels just nearby the airport, with 24 hours shuttle. Not the Linden Hotel… I checked for a Taxi but it was more than one way. So the return trip would be more expensive and less convinient than booking another hotel just nearby…
