    The pool was closed for repair and no one mentioned that when we booked our room. This was one of the main reasons why we stayed here.

    Bad service, poor hotel, do not stay here”

    Full size toiletries in bathroom. That’s all. There wasn’t anything else positive about this stay.
    Staff didn’t greet me at all nor check my ID when I checked in to confirm I was who I said I was. There was no notice about the pool being closed, however it was the entire stay and nobody was ever at the front desk for me to ask. The TV didn’t work in our room so we couldn’t watch anything - it was just an accoutrement. Breakfast was poor quality and there wasn’t much of a selection, plus the orange juice and all of the breads/pastries were completely out. Additionally, there was nobody to speak to when we went to check out and we waited for a solid 20 minutes - nobody ever came to the front desk.

    I like the chain and use it most of the time.
    This Hampton Inn was older, less 'spiffy' and sometime grimy. Internet speed was 4MPS. Most Hampton Inn's I've stayed at have 25-35MPS for their free service. 4MPS means you can't stream. This is a dated facility and their internet is dated too.

    The bed was comfy
    ordered the king size bed with the whirlpool bath and couldn’t use it. went to tell the front desk but they didn’t have no more rooms open and was told we would a very good discount because this room had the same complaint last week. Got my check out paper to see I got a whole $17 off my stay which is a discount but not as much the front lady said it would be.

    There were two spots in the bathroom that looked like some mold or rust but everything worked and it was a pleasant stay.

    Mother’s Day getaway”

    I booked the spa suite as a Mother’s Day gift for my wife and while she was surprised and fairly happy with her stay, I was shocked when we entered the room to get it set up for her to find that it absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke! The smell was so strong that we had to go get febreeze & a plug in air freshener to try and mask it a little. We found the whirlpool tub clean and in working order but the facing of the tub seemed to be holding on by a screw, it was quite loose. Breakfast was underwhelming but in times like these that can be explained. While she did enjoy her stay and it’s proximity to home, we will probably look elsewhere for her gift next year.

    The check-in was quick. I normally carry Lysol with me to get that extra security of cleanliness. I didn't need to this trip. The room was very clean. Ham and egg rollups for breakfast were tasty.
    The decaf coffee was empty upon my arrival.
