We had a very nice and pleasant stay at Hana Guesthouse. Very friendly and helpfull onwer. Early check in was no problem. The guesthouse is only a 5 minute walk to the river with some nice restaurants and to cross the river to visit the national park. We recomand Hana Guesthouse highly.

Great stay next to the National Park”
We were warmly greeted by the owner of the Hana and his wife - cold water and freshly fried bananas were wonderful! We were the only guests for the two nights there, so it was quiet and peaceful for sure. A simple but clean room with great AC and hot water. Getting across to the park was a matter of a five minute walk and a one minute boat ride across. Perfect. Lots of choices of local food to try and an easy ride back on the local bus at 10 am. We loved our time at Taman Negara and our stay at Hana...so will you!

Weather during our stay was kind to us and didn't rained in any of the 3 days we were there! Only less than 5 minutes walk to the river jetty and we got to complete all the activities we wanted to and came back to the room with - huge clean fluffy towels, aircon(bit noisy), hot water and a rain shower! If you get the balcony units you will have a clothes rack and hangers provided to dry your clothing as well. We packed lots of 1.5 litre water from the petrol stations on the way here but then realised the owner has a healthy stock of bottled water for sale at prices more reasonable than what we got from the stations. Best to avoid the tour agency in the center of town which requires you to remove your footwear. Rude receptionist and their charges are way higher than those nearer to the river. Ask the owner about where to book your activities or have your lunch/dinner and you will not be disappointed!

Nice place run by great people”
Spacious, comfortable rooms well located in town down a couple of small tracks by walking from the river crossing. The owner is so kind and caring and gave lots of great advice on the area. We were there when conditions were not great in Taman Negara so decided to shorten our stay (which I hate to do as I know it’s a pain for accommodation owners) but they were really flexible and understanding. Hope to return to Taman Negara one day in better conditions and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Hana Guest House is at a great location if you want to explore Taman Negara. It has everything you need, but don’t expect anything to fancy. The Host is very nice and helpful. He gave us some good advise about where to go in Taman Negara and where to find good food nearby (Ann Restaurant!!). He even drove us to the bus station when we left. I definitely recommend it

Simple and clean rooms, great host”
For a town with limited options, this guesthouse is simple, clean and does the job. The host, Mr Razali, is very friendly and helpful. He sat us down when we arrived and explained all the free and paid tours that can be done. Laundry service is RM10 per kilo. Dropping one star because the walls are very thin and we could hear our neighbours' conversations (and presumably they could hear ours). The WiFi also went down for 24+ hours, which was a bit annoying.
