The best!!”

This place was so perfect in every way. We have a young baby so needed somewhere that allowed her to sleep but not be trapped in the room. This fit our needs perfectly. Also it’s so close to the beach we could easily wander down and jump in the sea and leave a towel on the veranda. So handy for all amenities. Would absolutely stay here again. Thanks for having us.

Excellent location with walking distance to the lake. However, the room we booked for 1 queen and 1 king wasn't available on arrival, and we were offered for 1 queen and 1 sofa bed for 4 guests. Not sure if it was due to the wrong room description or double book. We end up having to wait and swap a bigger room with other guests with upcharge (upcharge was refunded by Agoda afterwards). If you are booking for the 2 bedroom apartment, please note there is a room with full cemetery facing.

Hi Miu, we have talked to our relief manager who handled your booking, and we have checked our computer records, and it shows that you indeed booked a room with a king bed and a double sofa bed, this wasn't simply the room you were 'offered' as you say in your review. When you decided that this wasn't suitable for you, our manager asked another guest if they'd be happy moving, and they were. It was explained to you that you would then be moving to a more expensive room (one extra bedroom, one extra bathroom, much more space) and you agreed to pay the difference. If you feel that this isn't what happened, we would be happy to discuss it directly with you, so please give us a call on 09 403 7875 to discuss.

Absolutely fantastic ”

We travelled both islands in New Zealand, staying in different hotels, apartments and motels and this was by far the best. We were greeted very warmly and felt very welcome. The owners have a wealth of knowl about the surrounding area and saved us time and money with the advice in continuing our trip. We will 100% return here. You will not regret staying here. Beautiful location and the rooms are immaculate and very spacious. We will remember our stay here forever

We loved our room. It could not have been more perfect. The location on the water front was very pleasant. The owners were very helpful in suggesting restaurants for dinner and sights to see. Well worth the money.
