We stayed in Hanoi Pearl Hotel for two nights and it was a great experience. The location of the hotel is very near to Hoan Kiem Lake, located in an alley behind the main road, hence it is not too noisy. Hotel staffs are very polite and helpful, attentive to all our needs during our stay. Will consider to stay again when we visit Hanoi. Not to forget is the hotel breakfast is very good with varieties, the dishes are all delicious. We had our dinner at the hotel as well and the taste is absolutely good and price is affordable.
Good hotel at a good location”
We stayed at Hanoi Pearl Hotel for one night on our way back from Halong Bay. After reaching at the hotel I realized I forgot one of my bags in the taxi that dropped us at the hotel. I requested the staff to call the Tour company to check. Not only the staff called but made sure the bag is delivered. The location of the Hotel is good with a lot of local food and spa options nearby. It's at a walk-in distance to Hoan Kiem lake and Ngoc Son temple. We enjoyed the walk around the lake in the evening.

Cleanest hotel I ever stayed in ”
We love Hanoi Pearl. Though it is not likely we will return to Hanoi in the next few years but if we do, we will likely stay there again. We stayed 2 nights on weekdays and were upgraded to deluxe room. The room was the cleanest I ever stayed in. It was close to Hoan Kiem (less than 5 minutes walk) and abt 10 mins to the Old Quarter. Breakfast was good, lots of variety for a small hotel.
We recently stayed at the Hanoi Pearl & would not hesitate to recommend it to other travellers. The location in the Old Quarter is close to many restaurants, cafes & shopping. One street back from the Hoan Kiem Lake in a beautiful quiet location. The staff are very helpful & attentive, plenty of choice for breakfast and lovely clean good sized rooms. We loved our stay here & when back in Hanoi would definitely stay here again. Tracy & Randy Australia
Hanoi Pearl A Home Away from Home”
When I booked Hanoi Pearl Hotel I have no expectations except of what my friend told me. I was surprised that it was beyond my expectation. When we entered the hotel the staff was accommodating that the front desk immediately granted my request to the best that he can. Room is nice and comfortable despite the silk flowers outside the window which somehow make you smile. Food for breakfast is also good and makes one ready for the day's activities. It's location is very near the lake which is perfect for a morning jog. For those who love to shop all the nice shops are just a few meters around the hotel. Even the beautiful catholic church is near. With Hanoi Pearl you get your money's worth maybe even more. I would highly recommend this to friends:
Pleasant stay, great staff, convenient location”
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Hanoi Pearl Hotel. We were able to walk to most attractions or take a short cab ride. The staff members were all very polite and helpful and most were able to communicate effectively in English. The breakfast was a nice mix of Western and Vietnamese cuisine and the restaurant upstairs had some tasty Vietnamese food with a beautiful rooftop scene of the surrounding area. We didn't have time to try out the spa. Make sure you pick up a card with the address and hotel name as there are about 6 different branches of the Hanoi Pearl with slightly different names. We would definitely stay here again :)
Stayed here with my fiancée in January 2017 for 3 nights and then checked out to go and do a 2 night cruise in Hanlong Bay and then back for one more night in the Hanoi Pearl. I cannot praise the hotel highly enough. The staff were fantastic, they remembered our names every day. The reception staff were amazing, they had excellent English and were always really helpful in organising trips for us or giving us guidance on where to go shopping. We went with their restaurant recommendations on several nights and had some of the best meals we had during our 3 week trip in Asia ( we stayed in 4* & 5*hotels for the 3 weeks - we are not backpackers). The hotel is situated in the Old town and is really close to the Lake. Its a fantastic location to explore Hanoi from. Breakfast here was one of the best we had, lots of choice and the fresh bread was lovely. Fresh fruit, cooked food both European and Asian. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Hanoi and would book here again if I am lucky enough to get back to Hanoi!!
American Airline delayed my trip for 6 hours from US and I missed my connection to Hanoi. I didn't inform my hotel. I showed up a day and half later and according to their policy that they cancelled the rest of my 5 days booking. They ran out of room. But the manager was able to find me another hotel within 3 minutes walking and put me there for one day then she upgraded my room for the rest of my trip. I was happy with it. The staff was very nice and attentive. The location is excellent, close to Hoan Kiem lake and restaurants. No need to use taxi. I would stay there again,
COULD NOT GET BETTER”
We stayed here before and after Halong Bay cruise and could not fault this hotel in any way. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was more than adequate for even picky eaters and the rooms were a great size and very clean. The hotel was located in a perfect position near the lake and we were able to walk to all sights to be seen in Hanoi. We like to walk but found nothing was far away. The best thing about the Hanoi Pearl was the street it is on. After walking the streets avoiding the people and traffic you could walk into the street to escape the hustle and bustle. It was our little piece of heaven in Hanoi and loved coming back into this street and its feel. We ate at three restaurants in this street and all were perfect. The French patisserie, the Rainbow restaurant and the one opposite could not be faulted. Two massage stores directly around these restaurants were good as well. the Note under the kangaroo sign near lake had the best dbl shot latte we found
Nice Hotel in nice place”
Hanoi Pearl Hotel have nice devorative room and very comfortable with friendly employees. This hotel location is very near with Hoan Kiem Lake, the most famous place in Hanoi
Impeccable Old World Charm and Elegance ”
Relaxing ambience enveloped in an old world charm with all the modern acessories. Service and staff attention is genuine and inviting before you arrive at the door. I loved the welcoming tea on the sofa while the staff checked me into the hotel. The Hanoi Pearl is situated in a small quiet street dotted with cafes and shops in the old quarter of Hanoi. This beautiful hotel is surrounded by great markets and restaurants that are a mix of the old world and new influences. The rooms are quiet, clean and luxuriously elegant, with fresh roses, treats and the usual complimentaries. The service is impeccable. Candles Restaurant has atmospheric and very tantalising dining and the popular streetside cafe is a great place to watch the world pass by with coffee and snacks. The Rooftop Bar is definitely a place to try happy hour and exotic drinks. I loved this hotel for all of these reasons. Nothing was lacking here and i can't wait to come back again. Thank you for an amazing stay.
Bring hanoi culture closer to us”
It was an unforgettable experience staying in Hanoi Pearl Hotel never fail to surprise me with their great services, friendly staffs and beautiful room during my stay. The hotel staff, Ms Junie even provide us with great information and also helped my family booked our Halong Bay day tour. Thanks for 'wow-ing' us throughout the entire stay and looking forward to stay at Hanoi Pearl Hotel when I visit Ho Chi Minh again.
Location, location, location”
We made the right choice with Hanoi Pearl, staying a night before our 3D2N Halong cruise and then 2 nights after. The location was right by the bustling Hoan Kiem Lake, we had great time exploring the Old Quarter and Thang Long water puppet theatre is just 10 mins walk away. We strolled round the Hoan Kiem Lake in the morning and evening, our visit coincided with the Tet holidays (Vietnamese New Year) and the activities around the lake is contagious, we cant help but falling in love with the Vietnamese!
Great Location, Staff and Service”
This is a great hotel in an excellent location. We stayed here for 1 night in November. I booked 2 rooms in advance (tip - book ahead because they seem to book out quickly). When we arrived we were greated by the Hotel staff who were very friendly and spoke very good English (which was an added bonus for us). The staff told us that we had been upgraded, which was a really nice surprise. We got a big room with an ensuite, sitting room, separate powder room and balcony. The Hotel was walking distance to everything - in the morning we walked around Hoan Kiem Lake, during the day we walked around the Old Quarter and the French Quarter and did a lot of shopping. The breakfast provided at this Hotel is also fantastic.. there are lots of options - western, asian etc. and everything is really tasty. Highly recommended and would definately stay here again.
Beautiful Hotel, but beware the Renovations!”
This hotel is lovely. A bit more expensive than others I have stayed at in Vietnam, but worth it for the price. Tucked down a little elbow bend street, the hotel is lovely and quiet - despite being in a busy area. Easy walking distance to some great restaurants, as well as the famous Hoan Kiem Lake. Had possibly the best indian food of my life at a restaurant called Namaste - an easy 10 minute walk away. The only gripe I had, was that there is renovations happening next door. From Level 6 upwards, if you DON'T enjoy being woken up with banging, hammering, and drilling at 6am - then be sure to book a room BELOW level 5 (until the next door reno's are done!)
Had a pleasant stay with Hanoi Pearl Hotel”
Excellent service, clean room, and friendly staff. Great location as well, it's in Old Quarter and just a stone throw away from the Hoan Kiem Lake. We were in Hanoi for my sister's birthday and the hotel was very kind to surprise us with a lovely birthday cake. We had a pleasant stay in this hotel. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.
GLAD WE CHOSE THIS HOTEL”
Pros : Very good location in Old Quarter. 3 minutes walk to Hoan Kiem Lake. A lot of cafes, restos, and food street around. On weekend, a lot of traditional sellers nearby, selling local food, vegetables, flowers, etc. Clean hotel with character. Nice and clean building with attention to detail. Clean bathroom. Nice rooftop bar overseeing the lake and catholic church. High quality service. The receptionist lady (Jeany) was very helpfull providing all information. We stayed for one night, and went to Halong Bay for 2 nights. When we came back to the hotel for another 2 nights, we were upgraded to suite room without asking. Cons : The food selection for breakfast was OK. But the resto size was a bit tight, you may have to que if many guests came almost at the same time.
A 5-star in the perfect location”
Very nice and comfortable rooms. Just a minute away from Hoan Kiem lake (or even less) a few minutes away from St. Joseph Cathedral and the "themed" streets of the Old Quarter, a bit pricey though but I like the fact that management seeks regular feedback. I commend Ricky too for being accommodating and knowledgeable about what to do or where to go in Hanoi and even knowledgeable about our country ^_^
Best hospitality ever. ”
This hotel definitely deserves to be called one of the bests you can find in the city. I have stayed here for 3 nights with my friend (who happened to have her birthday during our stay). One of the staff noticed it was her birthday on the day itself, then 40 mins after my friend was surprised by this staff named Junie who came to our room with a homemade birthday cake. It was one of the sweetest surprise with her lovely smile. Aside from this amazing woman who was always happy to talk to us and even to take a picture at the end, we have to personally thank Nancy and Hoan who were always happy to serve us going out of their ways. The buffet breakfast selection and value were also one of the best (at least in top 3) we have seen, and both of us have been to nearly 30 countries around the world. The staff at the restaurant was all very polite and friendly, too! Salute to the management for keeping great staff like them at the hotel and aiming to keep improving for the customers as Junior told us on our last morning. Definitely will stay here again when in Hanoi, and recommend everyone we know who visits Hanoi to stay here. Thank you so much!
