Very beautiful, peaceful, beachfront location, good staff, good food”
Stayed at Hansar for the 5th time, but it was my first time staying in a suite and I was very impressed. The room was spacious, with a large balcony, day bed, and plenty of pillows. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was cool, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. The only downside was that the toilet took a while to flush. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, but the grounds are spacious and peaceful, with a large pool by the beach and a bar. They also provide water sports equipment. The staff, especially Khun Beer, were excellent. The breakfast buffet was good on the first day and a la carte on the following days. The food was varied and of good quality. The restaurant and shops at Fisherman Wharf were mostly closed, but I recommend walking to Marigold for delicious food at a good price. If you're driving, there's a good rice shop on the way back to the airport. The hotel is also close to Coco Tam's. Overall, I had a great time at Hansar. Thank you!

The service staff were excellent from the very first step, and continued to impress until the very end. I felt the ultimate friendliness and enthusiasm, with a commitment to providing 24-hour service throughout the hotel, from reception to the restaurant, bar, and housekeeping. The location of the hotel is also great, with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, and it's close to many famous shops. The hotel facilities are also worth mentioning, as they are very convenient to use. ☺️

Not the 1st time that we have returned to stay with Hansar Samui. Love the location and the cleanliness. Definitely tip top service and cleanliness. NK from H Bistro, Tee and Candy from front office are always friendly and helpful. The beach bar guys are always on standby for whatever requests you need by the pool and bar. The location is great if you wanna stay near Coco Tams and Fisherman's Village. The layout of the resort is not as claustrophobic as Holiday Inn that is left to it, and more convenient than Anantara which is on the right side of Hansar. While this is not the newest resort, i feel that all it offers is more than enough. The spa and massage by the resort is also superb. Breakfast spread can be a little boring after 5 days, but cant complain since its a buffet! There is also daily shuttle to Central Samui for a small price which is great as well. Room service is superb, turn down service excellent. Resort is using app for whatever you may need, so it makes it easier to receive up to date notices and updates on services too! Point to note - maybe can renovate the resort in a couple years time to keep up the competitiveness along the Bo Phut strip.

The resort is amazing. Upon arriving in the shuttle from the pier we were not sure if this was where we were actually staying. The first impression of this resort was that it was very fancy and the staff was immediately responsive to needs and questions. When we arrived we were kindly taken to their lobby area where we were seated and brought some complimentary fruit juice, which was delicious. Our next great impression of this resort was Ju who was responsible for taking us to our room and talking about the basic (sort of a poor description of this amazing hotel) amenities. There was an amazing infinity pool, a restaurant (which we took advantage of the breakfast every morning, and we also enjoyed the happy hour at the pool side bar. There was also a ping pong table and a pool table that guests can use. The pool area was very clean and had a lot of options for seating. On the walk to our room we were talking with Ju and mentioned that we were celebrating an anniversary during our time in Thailand. Ju congratulated us and obviously made a mental note of this while she explained the open and closing times of the different services, when we could expect the house keeping staff to clean our room each day and told us about the Fisherman's Market that happens every Friday evening that was only a short distance away on a very walking friendly path just beyond the pool at the hotel. The Fisherman's Market was definitely worth the trip and we actually went back to our room at one point, unloaded a few things we bought and went back to shop some more and get dinner/drinks at the market. We happened to get some very authentic Italian style pizza from a food stand (which was only 190 baht) and comfortably fed both of us. Upon arriving back in our room before going to get dinner we got a surprise from Ju. She had taken the time to arrange a beautiful message and a heart made out of flower petals.
