10/10 - Great Hospitality ”
Hansar will make your stay wonderful. If you are celebrating special occasion, Hansar staff will do their best to cater it. Staff are very attentive, kind, very helpful. Resort is very close to Fisherman’s Village. Room is clean, neat, spacious balcony & day bed. Bedding is very comfy. Breakfast less choice but good. Highly recommend because of their service and hospitality. Definitely will return again to Hansar.
Heart-warming and Dedicated Personal Services”
Wonderful view from my room facing the sea right in the centre of the sea view. Quiet and yet accessible to food and open Night market at Fishing Village. They even presented me a Birthday Cake on the Birthday.
Good location! ”
Be there on a Friday night. It's right next to the night market (which only opens on Friday night). It's a spread of food, pubs, bars, massage shops, souvenir stalls, etc etc. Forget about walking to the main road. In the day, it's hot. In the evening, it's dark,. It is also quite a distance to the main road if you walk. As for the hotel facilities, almost everything is there. The breakfast buffet spread was quite boring after 2 consecutive days of eating the same stuff.
Family with Young Kids”
Location is great, just 5 mins walk to the fisherman’s village where the restaurants and shops are. Our room is of good size, fronting the pool. Housekeeping is great, replenish drinking water during evening turn down service. However, breakfast is a little boring with the same and simple food over our 4 days there. We engaged the hotel for day tour, transfer to watch the cabaret show and to airport. Prices are very seasonable. Overall a great hotel. Service is excellent. Would recommend for sure.
Excellent relaxed beach resort ”
Hansar are fantastic Thai hotels and Samui keeps up the standard we have always experienced. Friendly attentive staff, excellent rooms, delicious food, along with wonderful views, great location and excellent pool and gym. We will be staying there again.
Family of 3 on holiday in Samui for 6 days. Great location and value for money. Very close to the Fisherman’s village which has lots of restaurants and shopping spots. Super friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
Very nice hotel. Room is spacious and clean，short distance to the beach and the fisherman's village. Friendly staff.
Good atmosphere, good staff, good accommodation, good location!”
Highly recommend this place. Close to walking street on Friday night and near places to sit and eat. Staff is really nice and friendly. Breakfast is great and with good view in front of you. I got King bed sea view and I really love it. Good value. I would love to come back! :)
Quality and friendly hotel but too remote from major activities.”
Friendly, clean, very good quality hotel with good pool and direct access to white sand beach. But, the beach quality is not good as the Chaweng beach. Fisherman's village is a small street with many shops but that's pretty much the place within walking distance. Somewhat too remote.
6D 5N stay at ocean view king bed ”
- no lifts so daily few time have to climb stairs to 3rd floor quite a chores for me with a sore back - buffet breakfast spread is very limited though freshly prepared - not much facilities only a small gym room & swimming pool - we complain about the broken shower head but not changed even after we checked out Plus point is good location next to Fisherman’s Village - good side pool with a view to sea - friendly & helpful staffs
This was a last minute booked hotel and they were able to accommodate me shortly after my arrival. Loved the shower in the Executive Suite and the Sea View from the balcony. Breakfast was great, as well as the in-room dining options.
Ｂｅｓｔ ｏｆ ａ Ｃｌａｓｓ！”
This hotel gets it right. From the facility to food to staffing to protocol, it is the best of a class. Staff management is one of the best I have seen in this price range. Attention to detail is very impressive for the price I paid. They never cut coroner on Breakfast Buffet like most hotels. ROom is new, although it is economically designed. Cleaning crews are pros and staff are professionals. I highly recommend it, as I am booking one more trip here.
The location is excellent. Plenty of restaurants just literally at the hotel’s door step. The award winning spa doesn’t disappoint and the treatment room is a dream. Overall a gorgeous property that is well value for money.
great pool and staff but rooms need an update”
I have mixed feelings from this hotel. I don't regret staying for 5 days, but I would not stay again and I would regret if I booked it for the entire stay in Samui. First, the positives: - great beach and beautiful pool facilities with breathtaking views - fantastic friendly and helpful staff - convenient location right next to the Fishermens Village - large rooms with a terrace overlooking the ocean and bathtub in the room - good breakfast service and ability to order from the menu Now the negatives: - the rooms! They are in urgent need of renovation. We had to ask to change the room on arrival as the smell of mold and dampness was unbearable, dirty walls, stained WC with a noticeable smell of urine. The upgraded room was a lot better, but still far from perfect. - not enough electric plugs, need to crawl under furniture to charge a phone - very dim room lights - mediocre breakfast buffet (apart from the menu) - noisy AC
Superb Stay at a World Class Resort ”
Nothing could have been better. From the moment I arrived your team made me feel special, as they did throughout my stay. I marvelled at such a perfect location gazing across turquoise blue waters. Your restaurant...superb! Amazing breakfasts with caring people. You chef and his team must love their work because every meal I ate was five star. My room was fit for a king - the coffee percolator supplied in the room a lovey quality touch The bed ultra comfortable and that huge Thai shower that poured from the sky! . Being a few steps away from Fisherman’s Village was a real bonus, yet you would never know it was there when you are swimming In those warm waters. Thank you for providing a superb experience. I will be sure to return next time I’m in Samui.
Amazing comfort and relaxing vibes at this beachside resort that is well situated near Fisherman's Village, providing you great access to shopping and restaurants. Facilities and staff were great. Definitely make a visit to the spa and treat yourself to some worthwhile luxury.
This Resort is wonderful!”
Absolutely the best resort we’ve stayed in Koh Samui. Peaceful, clean, gorgeous views and a short walk to Fisherman’s Village. Perfect.
Finding a quiet tranquil spot on the beach in Koh Samui is nearly impossible, which makes Hansar such a gem. This place has everything: beautiful pool, caring staff, good food and a location to die for. If you stroll 30 metres you have an endless array of restaurants, massage spas and bars to choose from (Fisherman's Village).
Wonderful 5 star hotel on Bophut beach front. We stayed in room 3202, arguably the best room available, next to beach. Room very spacious and well appointed. Luxury finishes and the best bed we ever slept in. Awesome shower and bath. Large balcony with awesome views. The breakfast is wonderful, with a specific egg menu giving you choice of eggs benedict, florentine, spanish, scrabbled, omlets and a view other special creations!!! Great choice of buffet, including fresh veggies and fruit juices. The coffee is probably the best part!! Overall enjoyed the stay and the room rate for beachfront was very good!!!
Great hotel with good pool, breakfast, staff and location.”
Excellent hotel. Great staff, good sized pool. Good breakfast selection with attentive staff. Located well for beach and Fisherman Wharf bars and restaurants. Large room, furnished well and clean. Would stay again and recommend. My only negative was taxis are higher than other vendors. But taxis are expensive in Koh Samui.
