Lovely guesthouse and service with smile”
I enjoyed my stays in this guesthouse, the room is big and clean, many hangers in the big closet, it's very helpful because all we 3 girls washed cloth everyday, our room is with balcony, our cloth gets dry quickly. The air condition works very well and hot shower is very comfortable. Staff cleaned our room everyday. The host is very helpful and kind, always with warm smile. The WIFI is weak in some occasions, as our room face the street, light sleeper may prepare ear stuff The guesthouse is close to Simon show, 5 mins walking (my friends went there), 15-20 mins walking to Juncylon. The guesthouse is around 15 mins walking away from Patong beach, as I joined 1 day tour and 2 days tour which has excellent beach, so Patong beach is not important to me.

Exceeded Expectation ”
Happy Fish is a budget friendly Guest House exceeding expectations. The essentials are all there. Internet works perfectly throughout the building. Bedrooms are large with plenty of storage space. Bathroom was clean with good water pressure- and no creepy crawlies... Air conditioning worked well. The cafe/restaurant is an unexpected bonus with excellent choices of well prepared European and Thai dishes - including all day breakfast. Their beer is cheap as well... This is all topped with exceptionally friendly and efficient service from the entire staff - quickly making one feel part of the family. Security is good with keypad entry after midnight. This hidden gem is seamlessly orchestrated by Took, the ever efficient and ever friendly front of house manager for whom nothing is too much trouble. Next door is a 24 hour Family Mart, a laundry is adjacent. Close to the Malin Food Court and Otop Entertainment area. "Exotic" Bangla is a taxi ride. Would I return? ABSOLUTELY!!

Fab price fab room and fab staff! The room was big with air con, a balcony and wifi. The restaurant downstairs is very cheap but very nice! Brekkie was lovely and the chicken steak with wedges and pepper sauce is delish and £2! Lovely place if your on a budget! See u soon happy fish

Great location, great restaurant, not loud at night”
It's hard to find a good balance of accessibility and a peaceful nights sleep but this place is it man. It's literally a ten minute walk from the beach and Bangla road is about 10 minutes as well if you cut through. It seems to be ran with an involved owner that pays attention to detail. I saw him quickly trying to get his iffy wifi fixed for his guests. Good restaurant to the side. I ate Thai dishes and everything I had for my two night stay was good. Pros: Price, location, bed, room and bathroom, restaurant Cons: No cons to speak of.

Pro: Room, towel is clean, air-cond works well. Bed is comfortable. Con: Faced some problems during our late check in and it scared the hell out of me because I can't get it the property at all! But lucky to meet a few guests that helped us out as they see we we're so clueless of how to contact with the host. Number provided was called but the call was hanged up. I remember when my boyfriend called Took, he just said 'NO' all the time and refuse to pick up call again. I thought I was going to find another place to sleep and unsure if I could get one! Fortunately an Italian guest helped us to communicate with the host and claimed that he will arrive in 5 mins. After around an hour, finally a female staff came and let us to check in. The first and most terrifying experience I got for such a long time I traveled to Thailand because of the way they treat us when we tried to make a call. Another small problem is we don't get any drinking water provided in the room. Other from that, all ok

Don't let the picture of entrance fool you. The room they gave us is very spacious, lots of place to work, with balcony, very clean facilities, and balcony overlooking the hills. And the free breakfast was superb! It made our trip extra special.

I stayed here for 12 nights. The hotel is really good for the money i paid. You have a fridge, TV, hot shower with toiletries and clean towels everyday. They clean everyday. The hotel is very secure with swipe card to enter the building when the door is closed at night.

The tom yam soup with rice cost 130 baht ,if like spicy ,must try,best . On line Agoda price is best ,walk to beach is ten minutes only .

Overall the place was good, had some minor things like lack of light and a bit unscrewed tap. But for this price it was perfect!

Big Room but very affordable!”
Was given a room with balcony by Ena. She was very nice and accommodating. Bed was clean enough. They do the housekeeping daily but towels and sheets are replaced every after 3 days. I will definitely recommend this. Balcony was very useful to dry wet clothes. :)

Quiet and no elevators”
There was no elevators, we had to walk up to 4 floors. The room was very old but bigger than we expected with nice view. The balcony door was broken and we were afraid of being hacked. This guesthouse is nearby a market with many good food and cheap seafood. It's not so far from Bangla road but quiet enough to have a good sleep.

Clean, but ugly”
The room was very clean and large but there was no decoration and the furniture was functional, well built but ugly. The bathroom was large but the shower had no shower curtain. There's a cafe next door to the hotel that is likely run by the same owner but no free food is provided with the room (not even breakfast). The rooms are close to a noisy major intersection that for some reason is louder at night than during the day, so our neighbour, who was a light sleeper, had trouble sleeping. The bed wasn't luxurious but it wasn't uncomfortable. It was "okay". There's free wifi.

CHEAP AND CHEERFUL”
Cheap stay, you get what you pay for. Little bit far from the main attractions. access to beach, malin plaza and insoi market quite close. Quiet area. Staff were happy and helpful.
