A simple hotel that very near to Zhongli train station. ”
Pro : near train station Walking distance to night market. 7-11 beside the hotel. Great staff will help to arrange transport where ever you are going. Con: Checkin at 6pm. But can store your baggage. Breakfast no good. Overall room is acceptable at the rate we are paying.

Close to transit stops. Seemed like they were doing a good job of cleaning so we didn't mind that it was pretty worn down. Drinking water dispensers on each floor. We left before breakfast but it seemed like there were several options. We thought it was strange that if we left the hotel we had to leave our key on a display rack at the front desk. That didn't seem very secure and we would have preferred to keep it.

Value for money and convenient”
Very convenient cox located just opposite zhongli train station (rear exit). The name in chinese is "ri han" 日涵 hotel. 1 min walk. Zhongli train station (front exit) has rows and rows of food/shopping stores. Night markets are quite a distance but can cycle using ubike. bus station (located at train station rear exit) to go to Daxi Old Street is just 1min walk away from hotel.

it was short but pleasant”
Our stay at Happy Holiday Hotel was overall pleasant. My only comment was that the room we stayed in had a bathroom that somewhat smells like sulphur. The location was very convenient as it was just at the back of Chungli Train Station and very near Chungli's shopping areas.

No frills hotel. ”
The room was decent, considering the price of the hotel. It was very near the Zhongli station, and very convenient, as we could walk to the bus station. The staff were helpful, keeping my food in the fridge, and providing our breakfast earlier than normal as we needed to leave early the next day.

Clean, Cheap, Backpacker for 1 night stay”
I love their breakfast and it our 1st breakfast at Taiwan, although we only stay 1 night, the staff are good and friendly, we request to leave the hotel early, as we need to catch up the train at around 7am, they say breakfast will be serve at 7am++, end up they change another breakfast to us, which is yummy.. they just left it at the doorsteps, maybe to avoid disturb us from sleeping. Hotel is cheap and not for fussy customer. It super near to the train station, but it can be hard to locate the hotel, as we walked round and round to look for it.

Location is good as it is near to Zhongli station and night market.. The staff was nice and helpful.. We didnt try the breakfast as we had to catch the morning flight.. Position is REAR exit of Zhongli station which is not confinient if you are carrying big luggage and travelling with older people.. You have to walk downstair and upstair. It is suitable for short stay if you want to catch early flight.. it is about 24 KM to airport, about 600 NTD taxi fee..

A stopover for late night travelers”
For non Chinese travelers, you need to print out the address in Chinese. I could not see any sign that says Happy Holiday hotel. Hotel frontal is mostly green in colour and they rent room out by the hour. There is 2 adult movie channel so definitely not suitable for kids or teenages with family. Price and location are main reasons why I choose this hotel.

the stay was alright for one night, with complimentary kfc breakfast which we were not expecting. only bad thing about this budget hotel is that there are no lifts. but thankfully the staff helped us to carry them to our rooms which were located on the third floor.

Toilet is dirty and old, bedsheet is not clean”
We arrived to stay one night before leaving for the airport. We kept our expectation low as we just wanted a place convenient to stay. To our horror, when we reached, the room was in a bad shape and the toilet had a certain smell. It was old and dirty, the bath tub looked like it was not cleaned properly. The bed sheet was dirty and stained. We even found hairs and it was very dusty throughout the room. We dare to directly sleep on the pillow, we have to put towel in between. Overall, the hotel is badly maintained, it is old and dirty. This is the worst hotel we've ever stayed. I will certainly willing to pay more for better hotel.

Room and toilet/bath was big but room does not look so cozy. Bed was comfortable though. Breakfast was okay. Location was very convenient. WIFI gets consistently disconnected and connected.

The location is near to the train station and shopping street. Great for shopping. The staffs are very friendly and the room is clean. The room is a bit small for 4 as there is little space for movement.

Not suitable for family”
I would not recommend it to those with family cause there are no lift in the hotel. It will be very inconvenient to those with young children and aged parents. Besides we have to carry our heavy luggage up the stairs but the staff is friendly enough to help you. It is only suitable for short stay.
