We had a great stay at Sun Moon Lake with this hotel. The location was great for a one night stay as it was very easy to board the ferry right next to the hotel. We also didn't expect to actually have a lake view with the price and were positively surprised by it. The breakfast also had nice variety. However, the bed was not the most comfortable and sound insulation wasn't the greatest either.
Pleasant stay where I manager to book 2 double beds at a price equivalent to 1 double bed, so even though there was only my husband and myself, we both could have our own beds. Clean and comes with a water dispenser within the unit. The harbour view is beautiful though only partial and misty on a rainy day. Breakfast was provided. Excellent location, only few hundred metres from bus station and next to ShuiShe pier.
We were a little apprehensive about the hotel after reading negative reviews of old hotel, small rooms etc etc. What a pleasant surprise. Our triple room was large with 2 balconies and a large picture window with wonderful view of the lake and pier. Beds were very comfortable and the hot/ cold water dispenser in the room was unusual and a big boon . Breakfast was really good with a wide array of Taiwanese food , bread, drinks, fruits etc. We had their Thao set meals for 2 dinners and loved it. Location was superb, right above the lively pier and market but quiet once the day tourists left. Very reasonable rates for such a primelocation, food and facilities. A wonderful stay and I'll recommend to friends and will be back 😊
The stay at Shui Sha Lian Hotel was totally worth it! We got the room exactly the same as what was shown in the photo when we booked it. We enjoyed every minute in the room. The view of the whole Sun Moon Lake was perfect. Me and my family can chill and relax at the balcony, enjoying every moment of the Sunrise.

“Spectacular Stay!”
The place is right beside the boat booth, in front of the pier, lots of diner around the area and convenience store. So easy to locate and the view from the lobby, restaurant and room is superb and astonishing! Room is clean, spacious and foods were all delicious as well. Staff were approachable and can communicate in english. Truly it is a value for money and exceeded my expectations! 1 night is not enough and would love to stay for a week next time.
