Right on the dock so getting on the boats that cross the lake is very easy. The hotel has discounted boat tickets, gondola tickets + aboriginal cultural village entry, and other things. The Lakeview room was definitely worth the extra cost for the fantastic sunrise views! Great buffet breakfast and additional discounts for hotel guests available for the locally produced black tea sold in the shop attached to the hotel. The only oddity is how to shower without getting the entire bathroom wet (no shower curtains), but that's a minor issue for all the positives!

Good hotel and location view from the room. Best if hotel staff can converse more in English so can effectively communicate with the guests. Hotel is probably a little old but overall it is still value for money. Breakfast could have offered more international variety.

Read before booking ”
There are actually two different hotel buildings, one is new construction and other one is like 20 years+, two buildings connect via 1st floor lobby and basement, upon check in we were assign to the old building as reception stated our double king beds room only available in old building. This was a big disappointment as room is outdated with old TV, bathroom vanity, etc.

The only great thing is the view and location. The room isn’t sound proof, so you can hear people talking or singing outside. They don’t provide water bottle in the room and the breakfast is lack of choice.

Family room was old & small, no space for luggage. Bathroom is small & has no shower screen so floor & toilet seat gets wet after every shower. Insufficient space & hangers for clothes. The saving grace is its close proximity to the bus terminal.

Poorly maintained room and strict checkout time ”
Booked room with lake view. Indeed great view of lake but room is poorly maintained and do take note of their strict checkout time. I requested for later checkout time but they told me the system automatically charges after 30mins. Checkout time is 11am and I was at the Recep at 11.27am, still got charged for late checkout but what was unexpected/unpleasant was that I got lectured by the staff so just be aware of that. Room’s water dispenser is dirty/rusty, shower head bracket isn’t stable, and fridge is old and doesn’t work well. You’re literally paying just for the lake view and if that’s what you’re looking for then this room is for you.

Beware of Photos in Agoda is not the same you got”
To be agoda VIP does not mean you will get a good deal. I booked 4 rooms and agoda ensure that I have a good deal. We were placed in the old building with everythings were outdated. Poor maintenance, very small room, no hanging clothes in my room. Staff is not friendly. Another room has no lock from the inside, they refused to change room. I quite upset with the deal i got. If agoda gave me more info that our deal is in the old building, i might choose other hotel. Very upset
