Good hotel, good location, friendly staff”
I enjoyed staying at this hotel with harbour views and access to good walking/jogging tracks and the beach. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful about things to do in Robe. Car park was easy and very close to the room. Good location withing walking distance to the main street and good pubs and restaurants.

10 out of 10 for me being a solo traveller the staff could not have been more helpful, if I needed accommodation in Robe again I would definitely choose Harbour View.

An older motel, well situated.”
This motel sits in a good position in relation to Robe Harbour. We found the accommodation disappointing as the advertisements promised harbour views, but these were only available from a small number of units upstairs.Our room while clean was old with a makeover. The heating for a very cold night was inadequte and kept cutting out. We paid for a continental breakfast which arrived 20 minutes late.

Good value. ”
We booked this motel for its ‘harbour views’, not realising that only the very front rooms had any view. Our view was of the car park as most of the rooms were. It was however very reasonably priced very clean and had everything we needed.

Super friendly staff, good location”
Met two staff.. they were all super nice, friendly, and very helpful. :) Good location. In front of the harbour.. can walk to a pub. Very clean and neat inside. Everything was perfect :)

okay hotel. our room didn't have a habour view”
The door wasn't working well. We were locked out from our room for a while. Had to pull it towords you before you turn the key. If still cannot work, it means you are not pulling hard enough. You must pull until you see the door frame bending. Yes, do not worry, the door frame will not break. Or at least it didn't for ours. The owners recommended we take the luxury room on the 2nd level. We had a look and decided that we better not take it for that price. We are happy to stay in "Habour View Motel" without the habour view. One important thing, if you are driving out from the motel, it is at a road junction and it is potentially an accident prone area. There is nothing to look out as traffic will come from your blind spot. Just keep your fingers cross when exiting. If you hear a "booooom" you know you are hit but I'm sure you will not be able to see what hit you. That is how bad the junction is....

A good motel, but don't expect too much. The rooms are clean and a good size but a bit short of quality. A good place to stay for a single night if the price is right.

Lovely setting near the harbour ”
The owner gave me a lot of local info when I arrived which meant I could head straight out for a lovely walk + see a stunning sunset. There were lots of restaurants to choose in town. The walk back was a bit dark + quiet on my own but it felt a very safe town.

Such lovely staff”
We were so impressed with the wonderful staff at Harbour View. We really liked and appreciated the way they talked us through a town map at check in, highlighting various other small businesses, which we’d otherwise have walked straight past. Not only was it such a great service, but it left us with a strong sense of community, which is rare when you’re travelling.
