Me and my husband went to Hard Rock Hotel Desaru for the first time for a short getaway, 4 days 3 night, and had the Superior King room with garden view. Honestly it has a chill and quiet environment, which we find it relaxing. Love the view from our room and we managed to get a glimpse of the pool from our room too! The Superior King is super spacious for the 2 of us, plus we had our mini balcony. The breakfast buffet was amazing, we were spoilt for choice every time we had our breakfast. It was fulfilling and I specifically love the teh tarik there. There were alot more restaurants near the hotel, from the nearby resorts, which we managed to try their seafood. Thumbs up for their food and we spent less that rm200 for our dinner by the beach. The staffs there were friendly. From helping us taking tourists shots at the lobby to assisting us with our luggage, we were glad there were assistance the whole time. We find that the hotel is family friendly even though we went there as a couple. There were activities just for kids like the Roxity Kids Clubs for parents who needs a day to get away from their kids to relax by the poolside. It was raining heavily on our first 2 days of our arrival so the waterpark was closed & we can’t go to the beach, but managed to drive to the town area which we find it convenient 10 mins drive from our hotel. There were shopping mall, bubble tea shop (important!!), family mart and even fast food restaurant. We will definitely come back again in the future. We love the place, the environment. It’s definitely worth going for a short holiday.

I was in awe during my 3D2N stay at Hard Rock Desaru Coast Hotel! 🥰 Totally satisfied with evering, right up from the people services right up to the accomodation itself. Such an awesome experience! Here's a full summary should you want to find out more. 1) Food The delectable breakfast buffet spread and the spacious dining area were a bonus definitely! Moreover, families with young children will not regret it. A child-friendly playground is next to the dining area as well. For those who love the outdoor/garden view, they may choose to sit outside the dining area whilst enjoying their food. 😊 In addition, in-dining room service was amazing! 😋 2) Kids' Play Moreover, parents (like myself) can drop off their children at Roxocity Kids Club for an affordable price. They cater some activities for the children too.. The kids enjoyed themselves very much indeed! 3) Main attraction in Desaru The Desaru Adventure Park just in front of the hotel is something not to be missed at all; a heaven for everyone. I rented a cabana with food package of my choice (tasty!!) at an affordable rate. There's a safe where you can lock up your belongings, two comfy lazy "beds" and a small fridge. 4) Indoor shopping My favourite! 😀 The Hard Rock retail near the main lobby offers a wide range of apparels and I went bonkers shopping for their trademark T-shirts and souvenirs. 5) Hotel Room The Superior Deluxe Room was awesome. ❤️Cleanliness and coziness - 5 ⭐ for that 6) Staff I must compliment All STAFF of Hard Rock Hotel for their excellent and warm services. It is tremendously exemplary. I feel safe and welcomed. Thank you all! 🙏🏼😊 7) Live Band From 8..30pm onwards, there is a band performance. The members are extraordinary and entertained us really well with great showmanship.

The most memorable stay in Malaysia!”
I ride up to the hotel from Singapore and the security allow me to park ride in front of the entrance which I feel that my bike is very safe. The hotel is very beautiful with tip top maintenance of all the facilities. Very comfortable room which is sound proof and we can on music throughout. Tour can be easily booked through the concierge service. Food is wonderful and walking distance to the private beach. Most importantly are the wonderful staffs that make this stay so memorable!

Love love everything here at Hard Rock! Especially the foooooood! The breakfast spread were awesomely delicious and so much variety! The facilities were top notch. Love that it has ita own coffee club, kids club, and still amazed with the music pool!! Its cleanliness is top notch! Anf all the staff were polite and helpful! Stayed here during Ironman 70.3 Desaru and despite of the hotel being fully booked, the stay was comfortable with staff attending to your needs efficiently and pleasantly. Breakfast was great and not too packed even though there was an event that weekend. The gym was great. I used it everyday during my stay. Clean and the right amount of equipments. Adventure waterpark’s entrance was just at the breakfast area. So it was easy access to get to the park! It’s a fun vibrant hotel esp for music lovers as music can be heard in every corner, even under waters in the pool! Not a hotel for those who love peace and quiet (esp at night) :) Personally, I loved it.

Nice spacious room, i went during festive season hence room not cleaned in time for 4pm checked in, only managed to check in 5.20pm. Understandable though plus they give us free mocktails ! Breakfast variety is good ! Direct access to water adventure park is convenient and able to multiple entry cos staying at hard rock

Best place to stay with Family”
We stay for 2 nights in the King bed room with 1 additional single bed requested for our young daughter. The room is decent clean and come with a balcony facing the Water Park! We had a wonderful time spent in the Water Park as well as the Bar area listen to live band! If you book directly with them you'll given ticket to access the Water Park! Highly recommended for family trip.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. Room double Queen was very comfortable and provided quality amenities.with 4 towels and 4 breakfast. Has private access to desaru water park which we had so much fun. Everything is good for a family vacation. Look forward to coming back

Perfect hotel with kids”
The location is very convenient, with lots of food options available. Service quality of this hotel is excellent with very friendly and accommodating staffs. Rooms are clean and well furbished. Most importantly, for family with young kids, this is the perfect hotel for you given that it is right beside a very nice water theme park and there is a private direct access to the park from the hotel. Fantastic staying at here. Room is clean. Breakfast is nice. Staff are well trained & nice. The sun rise just walking distance to the beach at Westin Hotel. Recommend get higher floor if you need a view. Will back again for a comfortable & relax staycation next time.

There were slight hiccups with the rooms assigned but kudos to the team for rectifying it seamlessly. Hotel's surrounding was quite and peaceful. Rooms were clean although the shower area could do with a good scrub - or maybe it's just me :) Kids truly enjoyed their time at the kids club - which is a plus point so parents can catch for a date/rest. Hotel has direct access to the Adventure Waterpark which kids were crazy about. The entire stay was a pleasant one and will definitely come again in future!

This is my first time staying at Hard Rock Hotel, and i love it sooo much. From the service, cleanliness, accommodation, cafe and everything. I will repeat to stay again. Really worth my money to spend here. Just one thing, my expectation that i want to have dinner at Hard Rock Cafe but suddenly at desaru don’t have thier cafe which that make me little bit sad. The other restaurant in the desaru dont have many choices of food. But everything still perfect. I will rate it 8.5/10.

Good hotel for family”
Location is good as it is just next to Adventure Waterpark, walking distance to private beach at neighbour Westin Hotel and short drive to nearby restaurants such as Nelayan and Lotus Seafood Restaurants. Buffet breakfast is great with a lot of variety of local and international food. There was cocktail and refreshment served at the lounge in the afternoon. The price is slightly expensive but we enjoyed the stay.

Overall we enjoyed the stay very much. Room is clean, hotel staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Few things that would make our stay perfect, though: 1. clothes or towel hangers or line, and clothes hooks in restroom, bathroom area would be great. 2. Instruction to switch off A/C should be added into existing user guide. Express self check-out feature hastened the procedure without needing to join huge crowd at Reception area.

Celebrated our anniversary here for 3D2N. 1. Great service- All staff (from counter, restaurant, pool, etc) were very attentive and friendly - customer oriented culture observed. 2. Great food - breakfast as expected from 5star hotel. Lunch and dinner at Sessions is really good. Celebrated anniversary dinner per their package at the Elephant and the Butterfly - tremendously good! It’s something that we will remember and come back for again. 3. Great facilities- spent the whole time in the hotel - the pool, the playground (our daughter loves this), the coffee place, and of course the live band! Was also duly surprised Hard Rock set up a stage on the second night, coincidentally on our announcement! Love this place!
