WORST STAY EVER!!!”
This is my worst stay around the world in 10years traveling... the Korean guy from the reception is RUDE, IMPOLITE and NOT FRIENDLY at all. He said I can’t stay at the installations before or after my check in/ out time, he literally push me out, send me to the street, cero flexible or kind... so he also said I can’t be there from 11-3pm because they need to clean, and you cannot use the kitchen/Lounge/computer area after 11pm even if you are just working quietly and making zero noise. Terrible experience!!! One one small toilet and shower, they don’t clean the sheets... extremely disappointed... never will be back !!!

Great Location/ Very Kind”
I got one of the tatami mat rooms with futons. The room was very spacious and clean. The bedding and toilet/shower were also very clean. We were provided with a small bath towel so I wish I had known to bring a large one. The staff was very curteous and helpful, and spoke english well. would visit again.

Best location near Yamanote line Shin Okubo Station”
I am hesitated to book after most reviews said that receptionist is rude and unfriendly. However, it is clear that most bad review come from unhappy customer. Day shift guy is more friendlier because he is able to converse in English, only the night shift guy seems "rude" . You need to lower down voice from night until dawn and not make any noise. Avoid slamming the door, use pantry at night (pantry just beside this basement room) and also minimal use of bathroom Room on basement one is the cheapest, 10 people are sharing the same room and bathroom. A little cramped but bearable. They will end up complain to hostel workers and write bad review My personal opinion, hostel workers are torn between customer differences. They are not rude at all and allow me to check in even after past midnight. Cheapest accommodation at the best location, near JR station, restaurant & supermarket. You pay peanut & get peanut. Do not expect noise free room if you are paying for cheap "hostel"

Good lacation”
This hostel is in the good area, easy to find foods and close to the train station. It's a little bit small, staff is ok and the place is acceptable clean.

Exceptional”
Pros: -JR Shin-Okubo Station is a walking distance from hotel -Hotel has no curfew and you check out just by leaving your room key in reception -WiFi is available -Umbrellas are free of use -A lot of affordable restaurants nearby -Kitchen is open for all from 7am to 11pm (great if you plan to eat in). It has cooking utensils and a water dispenser for both hot and cold water -Bathroom is clean and has a heater -Towels can be replaced with new ones free of charge -Rooms can be cleaned free of charge, but cleaning is mostly limited to floors in room and bathroom and not the tatami beds/ bedsheets -Laundry room is available free of charge Suggestions: -Indoor slippers may be provided -More glasses/ cups in the kitchen -Hand held bidet may be added in toilet or a water dipper in the bathroom
