Loved the location of the facility because it's near others, meaning walking distance to everything. Second time staying here, but was placed in a room on the uncarpeted side, and for it to be a King, it felt like a twin room. Was clean.

I loved staying at Harvey’s. The staff was so accommodating when I asked for a room close to the elevator. They were able to give me one and it was perfect. The room was very spacious and clean. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone and I would definitely stay there again.

Prepare to pay extra $50 a day, I think it worth it.”
We have a nice Lake Tahoe view family room on 12F. The room was updated and clean. It cost under 100 per night in thanksgiving week, and they charged additional $35 resort fee and $15 parking fee per night. The price is fair to me. The location is very convenient, you can buy coffee, having lunch/dinner in Harvey’s or Harrah’s without going out in the cold weather.

Great location for skiing and getting around city center. We loved the gym and sauna although the jacuzzi was broken. They let us use Harrah’s for that. Affordable self parking. Room was clean and comfortable.

Needs renovating!”
Harvey's has 2 towers that they can assign you to for your room (you do not get to choose). Unfortunately, because I am a pet owner, they assigned me to the tower that clearly has never been renovated since this hotel's inception. Initially, I was not aware in the differences between the 2 towers. I stayed in the mountain tower and my friends were assigned the other. All of the while, I thought that it was just an older hotel until I went to visit my friend's room on the last night. Even after stepping off the elevator, you immediately go from old roach motel on a rural highway to Caesar group level accommodations. It was mind blowing the stark difference between the two areas. I completely understand the need to have pet only rooms due to individuals having allergies, the need to protect the personal property and etc. I do not understand the need to assign me to a subpar room, yet charge me the exact same price and more for a newly renovated room. I was so disappointed in this. We are not just talking aesthetically here, we're talking dripping faucets, broken dangerous and sharp tile on the floors, smelly old carpet, dust blowing from and hanging off of the air ducts and the list goes on. Had I spent motel money on the room, no problem but no, I spent way too much money to be placed into such filth.

the room coult of been a little cleaner. There was dust all over the wall. The crib provided also wasn't as clean as it should have been and when they cleaned the room no one changed the sheet in the crib. However the staff was quick to respond to any requests. Over all good if on a budget.

Weekday in South Lake Tahoe”
We went there last Jan 20-Jan21, 2020. The Hotel was so quiet, not so much many people since its a weekday. Room is Decent but needs some minor refurbishments like the bed.

The worst”
Booked for 2 nights. We’re supposed to check in at 4pm but we got there around 7pm and told us that our room was still “unavailable”. They told us they can’t do anything about it and that we only have 2 choices. They will either transfer us to a smoking room(but still wait for it to be cleaned) or wait for hours until our room becomes available. We paid for this a month before so I don’t get why it’s unavailable. They checked us in around 10pm and I ended up canceling the 2nd night and asked for a refund.

Dirty floor floors, dirty walls down hallways, no maid service. Asked for towels 3 times, they never came. I can understand reduced services with the pandemic, but why did I pay $260 to not even be able to get a clean towel.

They are not prepared to honor Agoda Reservations, requires manager approval. You get a substandard room, without the amenities that are advertised. There are additional charges not noted that will just about double the cost of the Agoda listed price.

Rip off/deceptive marketing ”
Paid for a non smoking room with view of lake but received a room that smelled like people were packed in here all week smoking! We got a view alright…. Of the damn parking garage!! Absolute waste of money! Front desk was no help at all. We enjoyed the area around the hotel so thank Goodness for that!!

They had large clean rooms, a poker room, a buffet and a fitness center with great machines. Just outside were rentable scooters, music and restaurants, and the best of all Lake Tahoe!.
