Clean, reasonable price ”

Good price, good location

I stayed for 6 day, it was nice stay. This is actually a hostel. The place is near the city centre, and as Liverpool is a walkable city, the place located at the very central. The room was clean, a little small, but the private toilet was spacious. The wall was a bit thin, sometimes you can hear somebody laughing out loud from room next door. But luckily I my neighbour weren't some noisy teenagers. You'll get choices of cereals with milk, toast with butter n jam, yogurt, tea, coffee, and juices for your breakfast. All you can eat. I actually arrived at the second day from my arrival date, due to miscalculation of my flight hours. So I asked a friend of mine who already in Liverpool to call them and tell not to cancel my booking due to a no show. They said it was fine, and they won't cancel my booking, but I need to pay for the first day, as I booked before. I was very relieved with that, better to pay for the 1st day neither than need to find another accommodation. Overall, it was a nice stay..

The hostel is located close to the city centre so you can walk to bars, clubs and attractions. I stayed in a private room. The room was a good size and had a large ensuite. The bed was so comfortable and I had a really good sleep. I will definitely stay here next time I'm in Liverpool.

Good value hostel in Liverpool”

Stayed in a private twin room with ensuite bathroom. Location is good and it's not a far walk to attractions in Liverpool. Lime train station is a short walk away. Bed was ok not great. Wifi was good in the room. Was no kettle in the room. They have air-freshner machines in the corridores and the scent goes into the rooms and i was getting a small headache by the end of my stay. Hostel has good kitchen in the basement of the hotel plus good amount of seating area - however the area is pretty dark and gloomy and not really a place people go to socialise, party because it's in the basement and not the easiest to get to. Hostel has a bar attached but it's only open Fridays and Saturdays. Hostel has washing machine and dryer - token costs 5pounds which includes use of washing machine, dryer and soap. All in all, got a good price on room, could cook food in kitchen, do my laundry and wifi was reliable. Would use again on future Liverpool visit.

I loved it.”

I actually stayed in the city for a quite long time as a student long time ago. It was my third visit after leaving from the city and it was the nicest accommodation i've ever stayed except for my flat. LOL. It's located in the heart of the city and you can go anywhere on foot from the hostel. Every staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also satisfactory. If I go to Liverpool again, I'll definitely choose this.

The best Hostel ”

My time in Liverpool was wonderful thanks to this hostel. The staff were so kind in special Manu, I told him that my room was so cool, so he lend me other heating. In my opinion for the price is the best hostel than I’ve been, and also the best breakfast, good and clean kitchen, room, bathroom. All it’s was good. Definitely I would go back and I would recommend it.

Wouldn't alliw checkin with debit card used for booking”

They refused to let us checkin, even though I had pre paid and had the debit card with me. They insisted on photo ID, and said it was in the terms and conditions- who reads these when booking through online booking sites? As a couple in our 50's ( it was a 'sons PhD visit') we dont carry photo ID. We had used the train, and I left my driving licence at home, so I didn't lose it in crowds at Liverpool Giants. Luckily my wife (who was shopping) had hers, even though she doesn't drive nowadays.

Excellent Location ! Nice Hostel !”

Stayed here for 7 days/ 6 nights with friends and our stay here was nice. PROS: 1. This hostel is very easy to find. Just 15-min walk from the Liverpool Train Station. 2. Have open kitchen. Can cook and have complimentary continental breakfast (every morning) which has a lot of choices...Cheese, Ham, Cereals, Bread, Coffee, Juice, Fruits. Free overflow coffee and tea too 24/7 at their bar restaurant. 3. Have own toilet in our room (for 8-bed female dormitory). Room is clean and well-maintained. Bed is comfortable, comes with comforter, pillow and power sockets for charging phones. 4. Excellent location. A lot of restaurants, coffee house, shopping malls, PUBs nearby. Walking distance in everything. So close to everything. 5. They kept my things after my check-out for free which is nice. 6. The staff are so nice! They are very helpful with all the queries especially Bella. Kudos to him! 7. You can do laundry with corresponding minimum amount charges. 8. Their building is nice, well-maintained and amazingly decorated. All in all, we had a good & comfortable stay.

Good private ensuite room”

Clean room, close to city centre and lime street station.
breakfast has cereals, slices of bread, milk and range juice drink only.

Good private ensuite room that is clean and tidy, has LCD TV which is around 20 inches. The bath room and toilet is clean and tidy too. Not sure about the quality of other types of rooms. About 10 to 20 minutes' walk to city centre and major attractions. About 5 minutes' walk to Lime street train station. Close to Liverpool University (and John Moore Uni?) The breakfast is really bad.

Very good value hostel, almost like a hotel but with shared rooms.”

Staff were very friendly and hospitable on check in. The rooms were spacious for the price with a bathroom to each room, which meant three people sharing in my case, which is much better than I've had in other hostels. Beds were very comfy although the room was very hot during the day, which was to be expected I guess as we were in the middle of a heatwave. Free breakfast was relaxed and plentiful with cereal toast, jam and juice.

Above Average”

Rustic feel, Nice Breakfast, Security

Only stayed a night thankfully. The beds in the room were decent, but the shower room was terrible. The shower cubicle only had one wall hook each if at all to hang a towel or a change of clothing, and the drainage was inefficient - which caused it to flood somewhat after a 5-8min shower. The bar lounging area at next to the lobby was nice, and thats where breakfast was served. Overall, the location was OK. It's about a 10-15min walk from the Liverpool One Bus Station - mostly uphill. The hostel issues security key cards to access your room which is a nice feature. A minor bad experience was that I was issued a bed that either housekeeping missed, or someone else slept in after. Which required me going back to the reception to ask for a different one.

there was two men who let in homeless ppl for overnight. was a bit strange and had fear as I recognized that the next morning. the bed over me was full of blood and a guy jumped down with open wonds everywhere. as I told the staff what I saw, they tried hard and gave me another room to stay the following night. unfortunately breakfast not included like in other HATTERS. + very nice, old building, friendly staff, good atmosphere, close to the center

The hostel is a 15min walk from most of the attractions and is inside a building which was probably an old church. The dorm room was quiet spacious with ensuite toilet and bath. Free breakfast was simple but enough to keep you going until lunch.

Okay”

Ok, this is youth hostel but some people just too noisy & making a ruckus at the kitchen. The bed is ok but the room is lack of air-conditioning & at summer it’s made me had to open the window even at night. For almost $100 per night without air-conditioning is a bit too much.
