simple room with helpful staff”
this simple hotel in central hat yai city is not so bad choice if you simple need a room, for you transit in this transportation hub. the room is simple, practical although a bit old. on positive side, it got a rather nice view. you can walk to key attraction in hat yai city. good choices of local eateries abound. and we are quite happy with helpful and cheerful staff in their front office. the room price made this a good for value choice.

good central location, near plenty of places to eat and shop and plenty of travel and tour agents near by. staff were friendly and helpful. room was nice and big, and bed was very comfy. wifi works in the lobby and there are plenty of sofas to sit on while you browse the net. good choice for a couple of night stop over in hat yai.

Dated but quite good”
Another typical South of Thailand Hotel that requires to be refurbished. It was clean and the rooms were comfortable although the bathroom left a lot to be desired. The Hotel is near the centre of Hat Yai and close to all the major shopping, pubs and night life therefore modernisation would make it an ideal place to stay. The staff were very helpful and polite and happy to engage in conversation. For the price I would certainly consider a future stay at this hotel

Unbeatable at the price.”
Hatyai Central is an old hotel which shows its age as a mature dowager. Thai hotels are generally not customer friendly, this is. Staff is friendly and informative but management is ineffective and their lack of staff training shows. The major consequence is maintenance addresses failures only and there is no scheduled maintenance. This is common throughout Asia. Consequently the hotel is overdue for refurbishment but still adequate. I read the reviews before booking, many negative. I still went and I am glad I did.

Great location with affortable price”
It locate at the central of the hatyai. It is suitable for us to walk around anytime without wasting any transportation fees. I feel so warm with the friendly staff. Although they can't speak well in english, and we can't even know how to speck in thai, they still willing to explain to us patiently. Unfortunally, we found that the toilet is not in a good condition. Anyway, this hotel is good and i strongly recommend this hotel!

This hotel needs upgrading. The fixtures and fittings show signs of wear and tear ... age has finally caught up with it. But, it is clean, reasonably well located and represents the best value for money in Hat Yai. The staff manners have improved and they are now civil to customers... perhaps polite ... but this is Hat Yai so don't expect too much in that direction

Very central and quiet”
We stayed at the Hatyai Central because of the value and the location. Agoda gave a very fair price for it. The bed was very comfortable but the bathroom could have done with a bit more cleaning. All in all, it was very acceptable with nice staff, quiet and it had parking.

Im goin to hat yai on a bike ride, Stay for one night at this hotel, cant say much about it since the room rate is really cheap! Hotel is okay, big room but a bit smelly n quite old, But overall is okay, wifi at lobby area n no worries abt finding halal food..

nice hotel and friendly staff. good environment.best place to shopping and night walking. furthermore massage center and food court are very near by the hotel. very near from hat yai railway station and airport, it cost only 20 baht per person from railway station to the central hotel. we are really enjoy the hotel.

you get what you pay for”
25 pound for 2 nights at a double room was good value for money but i have stayed at better hostels at this price. Bathroom old and lack of hot water for shower. I did not like the hotel keeping my passport even though i had paid upfront (agoda booking). Staff at reception tried to be helpful but most had no english. One lady was quite confused when i asked for my key one evening! If you want somewhere cheap in hat yai this is the place, but in the end you only get what you pay for. I have stayed in many similar priced hotels in thailand which offer much better value for money.

Great location but old rooms”
Hatyat Central Hotel is prominent building and well located within 5 mins walk to shopping. The spacious room has good view and comfortable stay suitable for all groups of tourist. Beside hotel room door system provide additional security. During our last trip on 17 Feb at the new Tune Hotel - bare minumum provided but at Hadyat Central Hotel (18-20 Feb)is good value for money. Although this hotel is dated and require new carpet and tiolet, bathtub and water pipe need to be changed. There is good potential for hotel to bring in more customers with new rooms and more staff to bring back the good old days standard of this hotel.Hatyai town itself will strive for many years and refubishing an old hotel is a good investment.
