Excellent”
I stayed for 3 nights in this hostel. Pros: The bunk beds have curtains which provides some privacy. The air con temperature was set perfectly well. The bathrooms are kept reasonably clean. There is s restaurant which serves Thai food as well as Western breakfast. There are also other restaurants around the area. Next door is the travel agency you can book your next trip or transport to the airport etc. Locationwise it's all within walking distance to Lee Gardens Plaza Shopping Mall, Central Plaza Mall, Odean Shopping Mall and Kim Yong Market. Cons: the room could be brighter or could be improved with an individual reading light. Only cold showers are available. Perhaps the hostel could also provide shower gel and shampoo in the bathrooms although I was given a piece of soap and a pack of shampoo the first day I checked in. These are minor issues. With the price they charge it's still worth it ( I booked through Agoda for 200 THB a night ) and you get what you pay for.

Love the Location”
Just 5minutes walking distance from the Hatyai Railway Station. The location is strategic where you can find the CIMB ATM bank just a walking distance from the hostel. They also provide a cafe and free hot water or cold water at the lobby. Recommended especially for Muslim traveler! I stayed here twice :)

Budget hostel for savers”
I stayed in male dorm. There were 8 beds, 6 were occupied. An upgrade of bathrooms would be helpful. The location is just 2 blocks from train station, that is convenient if you are taking train. From Hat Yai Airport I took blue songtheaw to Kim Yong Market and walked about 10 mins to get the hostel, it coated 40 bhat.

Nice but some problems”
I did not want to recommend this hostel because of certain problems that arose during my stay. However, this is neither the time nor the venue to take revenge. Moreover, cultural differences led to clashes. The hostel itself is wonderful. Clean bed sheets, clean bathrooms and a delicious breakfast with free coffee. Yes, I like the place. The beds have a curtain so you can shut off light and sights. The Ac is nice and cold. It was comfortable. But, I should mention that it was auspicious that local middle aged Thai man came into my room at night when I was fast asleep. I complained but they said it is a mixed dormitory. Yes, true but must I be watched sleeping, dressing undressing etc.? The men did not sleep but seem to watch me. Had the owner sold me as an object of observance to some pervert? I cannot prove it and keep my mouth shut. I would just not recommend this place to a single female unless, she is a Thai herself. It has been much of a stress for me.

Comfortable place, clean hostel and toilet, good staff, and also muslim friendly. Good hostel for backpacker. Even the price is cheap but the hostel very good. Will choose this hostel again if i come here next time.

A nice and not nice hostel”
The last days in the hostel did not bring much change. The place was stressful and extremely noisy, obviously the place was full over the weekend. Interestingly the staff kept up their prejudice against me, after all I was the only white,or orang putih there. I smiled a lot but without any effect. No one liked me, I was sure. as such, the hostel might not be the right place for travelers from the West. I would recommend the Cathay Hostel, they also sell beer and they give a single room. The stuff over there seem to be much more tolerant; they do their best to make the traveler feel good. After all its not easy to be alone in a strange place.

A good place to do a stopover before moving off to Koh Lipe. The hostel has a tour agency dealing transfer to Koh Lipe at a reasonable rate and to other parts of Thailand. The only downside is no hot shower, overall for the price this hostel is good. Deosit of 100 Baht for the towel, refundpable.

Friendly and helpful receptionist and housekeepers. Clean toilets. Hostel replaced fresh towel, bed sheet, pillow case and blanket everyday! For the price, this is definitely worth every penny.

Good for muslim traveler ”
Overall my stay is good here , Budget wise but location not really strategy as there is no 7-11 nearby . It was a Good hostel for Muslim as they are muslim friendly and a prayer room was there . They serve Lot of halal food below their hostel which is affordable and reasonable price . I repeat it is Good for Muslim

I just need AC, a bed without bedbugs, water dispenser for drinking water and this place meets my criteria. Booked a transportation to Koh Samui here and some minor things of mine were stolen during the trip. The driver told me to leave my bag during the ferry ride because his car would be inside the ferry as well. So, I did and noticed somebody (probably the driver) searched my bag during the ferry ride. But I guess the hostel is not directly related to the driver, just an agency in between customers and actual drivers.

Very nice and confortable night however don’t recommend to who doesn’t like hard mattress . Amazing staffs. Only thing that’s no so good is the strong stink of cat poop all over the hostel except inside the rooms..

Good Hostel. Worth It.”
The price is good. You get air conditioned room, clean facilities, comfortable bed, near to night markets and friendly staff. Shower water is not hot but no issue for me. For the price, I can't ask for more. They change towel, bed sheet daily and clean toilets regularly. I am very happy with the stay.
