To be clear: you get what you pay for here. This is not a swank hotel. That being said, the hostel was well-kept, the amenities were good, and there were plenty of activities to do organized by the hostel itself. The proximity to the beach also makes it an appealing destination. The best point, however, was definitely the staff. They really gave you a warm, and welcome reception, and were very helpful with any inquiries we had. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Clean, Friendly Staff and great location”
Stayed in a mixed dorm of 5 pers. There was enough room to walk ánd store my stuff in the closet. The ability to lock the room gave you some privacy and security. The atmosphere was great, also thanks to my great room mates. Location wise, it doesn't get any better then this. 1 minute from the popular Jerusalem Beach / Gordon Beach. And 5-10 minutes walk from the best clubs. ✌

Near the beach and good location”
I stayed in the private room of the hostel for 2 nights. Every private room has a balcony which is so chill sitting at night. Perfectly located to the beach, It just walk only 3-5 mins to there. The staff is really friendly. Although the hostel is a bit old but all facilities is good.

Great place to stay on beautiful Jerusalem beach! close too buses to dead sea and Jerusalem. Pub crawl was great.. so much fun, meet new people and socialise. As was the social dinner made by the lovely Kaya! Staff welcoming and accomodating.. so much fun.. really embrace the Israel life and traditions x

In view of the cold weather, this hostel's very hot showers alone is worth the price. Nice staff, good location, free coffee & breakfast, nothing to dislike here. Would recommend this place anytime.

I am a female, and I didn't like the fact that they kept putting me in a room with all males during my 1-week stay. They also put some guy with mental issues in my multiple bed room who should not have been allowed to stay there at all. Other than that, everything else was fine.

time of booking $22/night”
i've traveled to nearly 60 countries and for the price, this is poor. blankets are dirty and staff fold them on the ground after other guests leave. they spray a scented mist into the air rather than washing the floors. the breakfast is bread, nutella and instant coffee. no lockers for laptop, etc... and the handles to the rooms are plastic (and half broken). go stay at the abraham hostel!
