Amazing Location for an Amazing price”
I consider myself lucky to have some free slots available in the hotel considering I visited Japan at one of the most famous time in November for Fall. The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from Okachimachi station and Ameyoko, a shopping district with amazing variety of stores and food. Okachimachi is located on the Yamanote Line that’s the main line as well, to add the strategic location. The staffs can speak necessary English with the world-renowned Japanese hospitality makes you ease your stay away from home. Amenities are abundant, ranging from the all important toothbrush to hair styling gel, refilled daily. And the best thing about it? It comes in amazing price, worth every yen spent for the value of money. Definitely a place to consider returning to if I want to stay in Ueno area again.

Charming hotel with nice details ”
This is a cute little budget boutique hotel near the heart of Tokyo . The design plays homage to traditional Japanese culture with a modern twist. I especially loved the private rooftop bath with a great view of the Sky Tree. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The location isn’t a super trendy neighborhood, but there are several nearby big train stations that can get you anywhere and make returning to the airport easy.

Nice, little hotel for solo traveler”
The hotel is conveniently located near Okachimachi Station, an area brimming with shops/restaurants and close to various transportation options. The main downside, and this could be a big one for some, is that the rooms are very small. Very small and strangely proportioned, which makes opening a suitcase an adventure. Great if you’re alone in Tokyo, but not if you’re traveling with another person.

It was ok”
The room was comfy and pretty. I paid around $10 for the rooftop “onsen” but I couldn’t figure it out so that was a waste. I just stared at the city from a tiny view instead. It was ok to get to Ueno station, but a pain to get to Asakusa. I did both and survived, but man was I tired of walking.

The smallest room i have ever been in tokyo”
The Room is very small, even just try to open my suit case, i have to open it on the bed. If you are couple and having a big suit case, please avoid this hotel

Very comfortable ”
I enjoyed this hotel immensely, only stayed one night, but spent the money on a suite and it was worth it, loved the bath!

Very Japan”
Small room but clean ~ and have everything we need ~ there is Japanese style room , hot spring in the hotel that can see the tower ~ Then best thing is close to the Akihabara ~ walk there or station only 9 mins ~ :)

Room is v small...”
Room is really small. We have to put our luggage on the bed to pack. No space for big luggages. But otherwise everything else is good. Will be fantastic for solo travellers. Family may need to think twice. But love the facilities n location.

Not suitable for traveller”
Very small and tiny room. I don’t understand with the concept of this hotel. I can’t open my suitcase. I have to take my suitcase up to the bed to open it. No space for walk. If you are traveller with suitcase, trust me this hotel is not suit for you.

We had a lovely time, the staff was really helpful and the cleaning lady was delightful. The room was clean and well-equipped. Free coffee and tea were a nice touch and really convenient. The bathtub was a great experiance. Overall highly recommend

Excellent location, takes 10 mins walking to the akihabara with a mart and metros nearby. It could have been better if the room had just a bit more space to eat or do some work, the room is already full with bed. The building right next to the hotel is on construction so was a little loud too, but we had a nice experience and overall satisfied.

Just get the Japanese Suite room. The other ones are kind of small. Service was great. We got cute amenity bags with slippers. There was a tub room as part of the suite. Can’t wait to go back!

Whatever you do, get the Japanese Suite room. We got that and the queen deluxe. It was tiny. The suite was legit. Can’t wait to go back!

Good: Clean, quiet, Smart design, Nice bed, Low price, very close to アメヤ横丁 Bad: 5-10 minutes from JR ( a little bit far away from JR for someone?), Small room (it's impossible to open a suitcase there!)

Great location, but…”
The location, just a short walk from Okachimachi Station on the JR Yamanote Line, is great, but the room size is too small to feel comfortable. This was my second time to stay here, but I wouldn’t stay more than one or two nights at most in the future. Great location and shower. Extremely tiny room and seemingly indifferent staff. But I recommend it if you want to stay in the Ueno area.
