A little gem”

Usually HK budget hotels mean small rooms and hard to find entrances but Goodrich has a huge sign making it easy to locate and an entrance from the street. Front desk man spoke good English and room was bigger than normal, enough space for a suitcase without having to climb over it to get to the bathroom. Waterkettle, free bottles of mineral water, teabags and clean bathroom. Easy to find bus stop going to airport. We are satisfied paying only $45 for a night.

Now I am only 5'8. so not tall for western standards and yet the bed was not long enough for me. Good location, clean just very small.

A great hotel nicely located!”

Highly recommended to all travelers! The hotel's staff were friendly, helpful and understanding. The hotel was clean and I was provided with all the essential things I needed such as tooth brush, mineral water, comb, clean towels and more. A wonderful hotel indeed!

Superb area, basic hotel”

Super location in the middle of a night street food area. Nice staff. The hotel itself is very basic. Lifts take eternity to wait. No table in the room (no-window room type). Worth staying if the price is low and you like night street food experience.

Small and relatively clean”

Not surprisingly small for Hong Kong hotels but better than a hostel with its private bathroom plus basic amenities and surprisingly relatively clean. Within the night market area so the area is relatively cramps with tight spaces.

Great location, clean and helpful, friendly staff”

Very close to Jordan MTR station (Exit A). Walking distance to Yau Ma Tei, Mong Kok, and Tsim Sha Tsui. Next to the famous Jade Night Market. Restaurants and eating houses are nearby, open almost 24 hours! Minutes away from a bus station which provides direct express buses to the airport. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Attended to your requests promptly. All facilities worked great for me, wifi, hot water, aircon and TV. I stayed there for 7 nights, and they cleaned the room daily to maintain the freshness of the room. A bottle of mineral water provided daily. The only cons is that i spotted some guests smoking inside the building near the lift lobby on the floor i was staying. If that could stop, that would be even better. I highly recommend Goodrich Hotel to other visitors.

Great place and staff”

Been many times to Hong Kong. This location is great. The staff helped everyday with my business meeting. What bus what train. My only complaint would be at the airport never buy train tickets for 90 when inside their 40. Never exchange money on arrival

Goodrich Hotel nearby Temple Street night market”

Nearby to Temple Street and great local food nearby. Near to MTR Jordan with just 2 block away (walking 3 mins). Take exit A from MTR Jordan. Friendly staff which are helpful to your enquiries. Recommended for single or backpackers.

Excellent location n service”

I would like to compliment the male receptionist on night shift. I requested for a morning call at 3.15am. He actually came to our room to make sure that we are awake as he did not see us checking out by 3.45am. Excellent customer service.

price is right”

Hotel prices have gotten ridiculous in Hong Kong, to the point where I frequently schedule trips so I can just stay in Shenzhen instead for a third of the cost. So, the Goodrich is reasonably priced, although what I got was a room that was the size of a closet, no windows. I can't complain, it's about the same price as the backpacker places, and certainly cleaner. But seriously, what is it about Hong Kong that causes hotels there to be 3 times the price of places in other large Asian cities? Plus, to be frank, HK is kind of a dull tourist destination if you've already been there once.

Location, location, location”

Stayed 4 nights for business, including a day off to look around Hong Kong. Immediate proximity to MTR station (Jordan Rd), made both easy. Front desk staff knowledgeable and helpful in orienting and sorting all the possibilities. Many good, local restaurants within few-block radius was very convenient. Hotel is almost part of famous night market - recommend room on an upper floor for soundproofing. Excellent shopping, Kowloon Park are an easy walk. Good shower, room was kept spotless.

Great location, TINY rooms”

The Goodrich has a spacious lobby. But the rooms are tiny. There is no closet--you get a few plastic hangers and hanging-rod projecting from the wall. The shower stall is so small it's difficult to turn around. I'm used to small hotel rooms in Hong Kong and throughout Japan, but the Goodrich gives you the absolute minimum. One pillow, one towel, one bed, one bathroom and enough room to move--that's it. More than one person in this room would be troublesome. The hotel is well located, staff are efficient, air-con and TV and Wi-Fi work well. It's the bare minimum of the hotelier arts. Be warned, but if you just want a cubicle during your HK stay, this place is fine--better than a guesthouse.

Excellent Location”

The single room that I stayed was very small; very much like the interior cruise stateroom; no window, the bed and linens are standard, electric pot for boiling drinking water is provided and also a 19 inch color televsion set, a dormitory size refrigerator are provided. The bathroom shower and toilet layout is comfortable. You don't need to boil water twenty minutes before to use the hot water. Overall, it is recommended for the price, place and location.

Good no window small comfortable ; close to shops”

This is an affordable good location small hotel. The staffs are helpful and friendly. The bathroom facility is comfortable. The room is very small, but does provide a small refrigerator and a stand by the bed to put your small items like a watch or a phone. The hotel is just a few minutes walk to take the underground train; local buses and airport buses. It is safe to walk around at night as the open-air restaurants open late and usually are busy with visitors who love seafood.

Great location”

I like the bathroom facility; it is up to date and comfortable to use. the staffs are friendly and always availalbe. Wi-fi inside your room and also two laptops are free to use at the receptionist area. There is a airport bus stop within five minutes walk. Also local subway and bus stations are within a few minutes walk. The hotel is also close to restaurants. You can find food twenty four hour daily around this area. therefore, it is safe to walk around anytime. The hotel price is reasonable.

Basic, clean, and thats about it.”

i need a clean room, a reasonably firm bed, a front desk that speaks english, and something near the center of kowloon. it's not the best hotel, and yes, the rooms are smallish, but for my travel money, i get great value for what i spend. very clean rooms and very competent staff.

Superb location”

i was a little hesitant when i saw the hotel is located at a small street in jodan but then i realised how convenient it is to look for food and temple street is just beside whilst mtr is only 5 mins walk away with more shops and food stalls. especially love the curry fish ball next to the hotel, yummy! i will be back again for sure!

Small Room, Close to local nightlife spots”

the hotel room is pretty small. we just booked a single room for one night and it allowed 2 people. it is small for one person and even smaller for 2 people. considering the price, it is expected. the room does come with a refrigerator, and a good sized bathroom with isolated shower area. our room has window. the wifi is free in the room but it is slow. you can view emails or facebook but it is too slow to upload a picture. temple street is just around the corner and you can find restaurants and street vendors that open till very late at night. it is perfect for those who like to explore the local night life. the closest mtr station is jordan and it is within 5-10min walk.

the staff were friendly n helpful, there's baggage deposit available at no extra charge. lobby's spacious n nice. e room's clean n quite comfortable if space constraint issue is put aside. bathroom's clean n nice. good food everywhere in e vicinity n e location's not a bad focal point to travel around from. overall, e stay was a pleasant one. would return on my next trip to hk.

Great location and good service”

This is the one if you are on a budget and don't mind small room hotels. Hotel amenities are good and above standard from what I have expected. The hotel location is safe to walk around twenty-four hours a day. Many good restaurants to choose from at all price levels are just within a five minute walk.
