Artsy Refreshing Guesthouse”
Pros - staffs are very helpful and friendly, helped me bring up my luggage, showed me to my bunk bed and around the place - very clean even the bathroom - basic needs are available - free coffee and water - I was allowed to leave my baggage before check in since I arrived early - bunk bed is spacious enough to move around The guesthouse is about a 10-minute walk to a train station. A few minutes walk to the city center which is fine with me. Maybe it can be noted in the details that reception is only open from 12nn to 10pm. I arrived there around 8am to leave my luggage and no one is around. I sent a message through fb messenger and a staff came to keep my luggage. Appreciate that so much!

Lovely: Ideal Stay in Asakusa”
Convenient location - on quiet side street within walking distance to Senso-ji, Asakusa stn. Kappaboshi (a.k.a. "Kitchen Street"), Skytree, Twaramachi stn., et al. Great staff (directed me to several restaurants where I could try "fugu" - a.k.a. Pufferfish, among the most poisonous - if not cooked properly); impeccably clean; lovely little "kitchen" with free tea, fridge, hot water for tea/coffee/a stray ramen soup; nice bathroom (just 2 "toires" and 1 shower, but plenty because...); Best of all, small with but 2 rooms of 8 beds each (and the beds uber-comfy/roomy with great privacy and personal light). Did I mention "quiet"? This is no "party hostel". I stayed a total of 6 nts. - 3 upon arrival in Japan, and another 3 at the end of my many adventures in Japan.

Very clean, nice service and location ”
The hostel was super clean and had nice service. They offered free stuff like water, earplugs, coffee and tea and more. The hostel is really silent and modern. The bed was also comfortable and clean and each bed has a lightswitch and two socket outlets. Furthermore, you have a small private locker to store your valuables. The location is also nice, as you can easily go to Tawaramachi and Asakusa station. The nearby Sensoji Temple and it's market place are quickly accessible and the neighbourhood is super pretty. Would totally go again.

First time using hostel, very great!!”
This was my first time using a hostel; I'm not keen about hostels because you have to share a shower usually, but I never had to wait to use one! The location of Guesthouse Denchi is just off of Sensoji (which is about a 10 minute walk or less!) It's so close! For example, if you are standing in the center intersection of Nakamise Dori (facing towards Sensoji), you go left through Shin-Namakise Dori, cross one busy street, and then after a few streets, Guesthouse dench is there! It's in a quiet and very safe neighborhood (it's really safe: I was walking at night around 11PM and a policeman on a bike was going through the area). The place itself is super clean and cute. I love the idea of how they used boxes as sleeping capsules. The one I stayed it was shared with all female and there was plenty of space to unpack and put luggage aside. The capsule itself was very clean and spacious to move around and there were two outlets for electronics and an overhead light. The blackout curtains really work nice as well. They also give you a locker with key to keep valuables. There's also free coffee and tea along with a fridge if you bring back some food. The staff speaks basic English and can communicate pretty well. I found it easier to ask in Japanese (but I already speak. So it's alright if you can't). They also hold your luggage for the day even after you check out! I couldn't check into my other hostel (which was farther away) until 4PM and I asked to keep my luggage there! Overall very awesome stay for great price!

Enjoyed the stay very much and I had really good sleep. It is clean (room and toilet) and has free wifi. The location is not easy to find. So, do your map homework first.

Spotlessly clean, just a little quiet”
If you're in no rush to meet other travellers then Denchi Guest House is flawless - spotlessly clean and very nicely designed, with very friendly and helpful staff. Only downside is the lack of atmosphere/used communal area. Otherwise it's perfect.

Quiet, clean, great value”
Pros: great pricing! Facilities are clean. You get your own bathroom/shower stall within the communal area. Beds are comfy. Staff speaks great English. They can hold your luggage before checkin. Very quiet. Compared to other capsule hotels, this place is a lot more comfortable. Cons: towels for rent. No on-site laundry; I believe you have to go elsewhere for that?

Everything was perfect without noisy ”
the room was clean and staff were very kind convenient to stay but as the room is opened it was quite noisy . But next time i will try to stay again . Just the town atmosphere is great and good approach to skytree sensoji and ueno zoo . And reasonable prices.

Clean, quiet space, helpful staff”
If you've ever wanted to experience a 'capsule' experience, you can consider Guest House Denchi. The place is a short walk from the train station, easy to get to. It attracts quite a lot of backpacker-types who all like to keep to themselves. Everyone was very quiet in this place and I could work quietly at the long table without any interruption. The only thing that stands out is that one night someone got really drunk and was snoring loudly in their sleep. But with the curtains and earphones, that was easily sorted. You don't have to worry about claustrophobia, I'm 1.7m (5'6?) and could sit up in my pod without having to slouch or hit my head. And the pod felt pretty spacious for sleeping too. The staff were very helpful throughout the stay. When the water dispenser ran out of water, or when the wifi stopped working, and when I had some questions about visiting the Studio Ghibli museum, they were quick, responsive and helpful. They also let me deposit my bags before the official check-in time as I landed quite early in the day. There aren't a lot of attractions directly near this place, so the neighbourhood is quite quiet. But if you don't mind walking a bit (eastward), you can easily get to to Asakusa area where there's a lot more food and shopping options. Would stay here again if I'm ever back in Tokyo.

本以為女生宿舍就是女生宿舍，結果是ㄧ間但男女分區，男女淋浴間各1有點少，位置還行，比較屬於住宅區裡，走路五分鐘有全家

地方很新，在靜巷中，雖然不大但起居需要的物品都有且乾淨，住起來非常舒適一覺睡到天亮；雖然是小民宿但服務不輸飯店，很櫃台在check out後暫寄行李到傍晚

위치는 초역세권까진 아니지만 나쁘진 않았어요 방이 문으로 나눠진게 아니라서 사실 공간분리는 되어있지만 그냥 이어진 느낌 화장실이랑 샤워실은 깨끗했어요 남녀 분리도 되어있고 침대 깨끗하고 좋았어요
