Excellent location!”

The hotel is a two minute walk from Hanzomon subway station. It is about 20 metres from the walkway/moat surrounding the Imperial Palace. There is a large park about ten minutes walk and the National Theatre is about five minutes away. If you are travelling a lot there is a laundromat about three blocks away. The area has a number of restaurants. The hotel is modern. The room is a good size and very comfortable. My room has a great view of the I peril Palace grounds. The staff were accommodating. The main floor restaurant offers three set breakfasts..Japanese, American and continental. This was included in my room rate and I found the presentation and taste of the Japanese breakfast great.

Good Location, Friendly and helpful staff”

Hotel is located near imperial palace. Impressive view from the top of our room. Peaceful and quiet environmental, a good location to slow down and walk around to explore the area. Will definitely choose to come back again the next time. However, there's not much food choices nearby, only have a few 24hrs convenient store.

Overall good experience ”

We traveled in a rather large group with people coming at the different arrival times. The hotel is clean and beautiful and in a great location for viewing cherry blossoms. The staff members were overall helpful. The rooms were kept spotless and had great views. The breakfasts were delicious. We were able to use their wheelchair for an elder. The hotel was in a great location for those who wanted to be in a beautiful area and away from bustling shopping places. There is an onsen and two places for good and affordable massages. There were some minor hiccups with check in. I would suggest staff members to allow those who have travelled a long way and arrived late at night to check in quickly for a good rest and deal with non-emergency issues in the morning. For those who are non smokers, you need to read carefully when you book your non smoking rooms and follow up with the hotel to make sure a non smoking is reserved.

Simple hotel at far away location”

While the subway may be nearby but it is still a walk. If it rains, you are in trouble with young kids. The main factor I find inconvenience is that to get to most places for tourist it takes a few train transfers. Otherwise for the room itself it is a pleasant and cosy Japanese style room.

Just a 5 to 10 miniute walk from Hanzomon Station where there is a lift access at exit 6. The hotel is a good place to stay for anyone looking for a nice quiet location in contrast to busy areas like Shinjuku or Shibuya. Family Mart is nearby which is very convenient for basic needs like bottled water, snacks, etc. if needed. We stayed in the traditional Japanese style room which was very comfortable and has a great view. This is a really lovely hotel without being extravagant.

Best cherry blossom in Tokyo”

A hotel just beside the imperial palace is the best place to start our cherry blossom journey in Japan. The hotel is located 6 minutes from the nearest metro station. It took us some time to find the hotel. The check-in was smooth and enjoyable. The room was small, as expected. But the breakfast was a plus to the overall score. The restaurant staff was polite and efficient (tip: the rice and miso soup was free to add on). It looks like the hotel is best known for the events locally. We noticed that there are a lot of grandmas in traditional kimono during our stay. We will consider to stay there in our next visit to Tokyo.

Great View of Imperial Palace”

The hotel is not located in one of those buzzy tourists spots but it is only a few stops from Shibuya. However, it is quite a bit of walk from the JR station to the metro station when changing line at Shibuya. The view from the room is beautiful and is close to the metro station. Quiet neighborhood and there is one traditional public onsen close by. A great experience to try the local public bath. There is elevator at exit 6 so you don’t have to carry your luggage walking up the stairs.

Spacious rooms, great views”

Located right next to the Imperial Palace with great views across downtown Tokyo. Spacious rooms and a good choice of restaurants. Subway station is just 3 minutes walk away. Thoroughly recommend.

Excellent location..good value”

We had a deluxe twin room this stay. The room was a good size with a separate shower room and wc. The room was kept in very clean condition. The metro is a short walk and there are two convenience stores within a five minute walk. The area is great with a good walking/jogging path that circles the Imperial Palace. The staff was courteous and friendly. Breakfast was a little pricey so try to get a room with the breakfast included..choice of Japanese, American or continental.

Highly advantageous location - good view of the castle grounds and close to train station”

We chose Grand Arc Hanzomon because it was the only hotel that offered the more traditional Japanese room setting with tatami mats. The view from our room was incredible; it faced the castle grounds and there were cherry blossom trees that lined the main road. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, although some noise from the occasional traffic were heard since the room was not on a high floor. It was also greatly advantageous since it was less than a 5-minute walk from the Hanzomon subway station. There were plenty of fast-food type and sit-in restaurants nearby.

Everything is good ”

Nice hotel, location is good, we almost walk to everywhere. Hanson mob is very quiet, the view is beautiful. The hotel room is too small though but it's understandable as it's Japan.the price is reasonable, def will try next time

Nice hotel in a quiet distract”

The hotel is only 5 minutes walk to exit 1 of Hanzomon station. If you carry a large suitcase, better use exit 4 where you can find the lift. View from the room is magnificent. It's clean and spacious. Will come back the next time in Tokyo.

Location, Quality of hotel”

Our stay at the Hotel Grand Arc was lovely, we stayed for NYE. The bedroom was good quality, the bed itself was excellent - the best bed we slept on in Japan. However, check in is 2pm and we arrived at 12.15pm and were not allowed to gain early entry. Also, check out is an early 10am.

NIce hotel”

The hotel is in a good location, close to the station but quite a distance from where you got off a train to the exit. All the staff communicate well in English, friendly and helpful. The room is nice with great view. We enjoyed our breakfast at a hotel also staying there was a memorable one. worth it.

Love the room and view, very value for money! ”

The room was very comfortable, we had a wonderful view of the imperial palace garden and city, the surrounding is nice and quiet, and the hotel staff were friendly! It was a bit far to walk from the train station though, but there is direct, quick bus to Ginza area and Tsukiji Market. Good place to stay!

A Very Pleasant Stay”

The staff there is very nice and helpful. Location wise, it is not too near to nearby subway stations so if you prefer to go any place at easy you may think twice. However besides of this, everything else is almost perfect. We are very satisfied with the Japanese style room and the supply in the room. Good place and definitely will visit again next time!

Clean very good hotel”

The hotel is located 5 to 10 minutes away from subway station. Room are quite small (normal for Tokyo), but really clean. There is not too much restaurant around this area. The hotel restaurant is still OK... I can recommend this hotel for people looking for a quiet area.

VALUE FOR”

our hotel stay was perfect. nice neighbourhood and quiet with a lot of restaurant near the hotel. it was only less than 5 mins walk from the station with only 1 train line to Shibuya and Tokyo sky train, its was centrally located so most of the sites are les than 20 mins away. rooms were big as well and staff performance was courteous professional, most importantly they knew how to converse English. The breakfast set was enough to fill us up with a good selection. Imperial palace was across the street so it was perfect.

I was satisfied with this hotel. The hotel reached up to the high Janapese standard - clean and tidy. But, there was nothing special. If I have a chance to visit Tokyo for business purpose, I will consider this place again.
