Amazing place for families”
Very clean and comfortable place. Traveled with 2 families with kids and we had 2 connecting rooms. Lots of space for the kids to roam around. Highly recommended! Staff were fluent in English and very helpful, friendly and attentive. We checked out and realised my wife had lost her purse. She bought a new one and left her old one in the shopping bag. We called Mimaru upon returning to our country and to our surprise, they actually went through the “empty” shopping bags left behind and found it. The staff even offered to send it over to our home. Coincidentally I have a work trip back to Tokyo after and went back to collect personally. We are thoroughly impressed with this and the money is still in it! Just a note: being an apartment, there’s no house-keeping, except daily clearing of trash and change of towels. If staying for longer duration, basic cleaning of room is provided on the 3rd day. Extra cleaning needed is available upon a fee.

Thank you for leaving us the feedback. In MIMARU, each room has 40 x 40 square feet and it is much bigger than most of the hotels in Tokyo. Our front staffs can speak English, Japanese and Chinese and we are more than happy to help you solve any questions. We were happy that you got your purse back and had nothing lost. Thanks for your comments and our cleaning system is a little bit difference from the regular hotel. Every day we will clean the trash, change the towel and toilet paper. Fantastic, value for money, great location”
The hotel facilities were clean and the room is large enough for my family of 4 (two teenagers). Location is super convenient with a Lawson and 7-Eleven within 2 mins walk. Asakasa Metro station is 5 mins walk. Roppongi is 15 mins walk. The staff were knowledgable, friendly, super helpful and never without a smile ! Highly recommended !

Beautiful room and Superb Cleanliness ”
Love every minute that we stayed in this hotel. It is brand new, rooms were large enough for my young children to play in. Has a little kitchen for jet lag people to make some hot meal. It is crazy convenient. Walkable to Roponggi, close to station, not to say that it is in the heart of the downtown. AND best of all, it has a convenient store right in front of the property. WE LOVED EVERY MOMENT that we stayed here!! (and we will be staying here again when we travel to Japan this year)

The bed is very comfortable and the staff of the front desk are very kind and helpful. The room is quite big for a 4 people family with a small kitchen. We have been to Tokyo many times. Mimura made the best stay.

The location is very close to Akasaka Metro station. Quiet and convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the half tatami room. The coin laundry downstairs was a big plus. We would definitely consider staying there again!

Perfect Location First Time in Tokyo”
We started our journey to Tokyo at Mimaru Asakasa. This was a perfect location for our family with 2 teenage boys. It is close to the Metro stations, food options, convenience and grocery stores. The room is spacious and the kitchenette was perfect for breakfast and dinner meals. The room is very clean and well maintained. Though it is somewhat in the middle of town, road noise is hardly noticeable; if at all. We stayed here for 4 days and before moving to Kyoto, the laundry facilities was a plus. There is a small lobby, for checking in. It was a perfect location for our first trip in Japan-definitely staying here again.

Distinctive apartment style accomodation ”
We arrived tired, hot and grumpy, the staff were amazing at restoring our happiness, the apartment was fully equipped, opposite a small supermarket, next to an excellent bar/pizzeria and jazz club and only mins from the subway. Japanese style decoration with a fabulous roof top terrace we thought this accomodation would be perfect for anyone wanting lovely accomodation at a good price...we really enjoyed our stay.

A fabulous place to stay. Staff were so helpful and nothing was a problem. Seven eleven across the street for hungry teens and easy access to metro from Akasaka station. Highly recommend.

Excellent apartment hotel in a nice area ”
Excellent apartment hotel with very good quality fittings & great bed. Really appreciated the space given we were travelling with our 6 year old. There’s a microwave & kitchenette which is very handy for breakfast etc. Akasaka station which is close by, meant 2 trains usually to any place you want to go to., but it’s nicer to be close to a smaller station in a nice neighbourhood. Lots of good food options nearby.

New, spacious and clean”
It's great for our family of 2 adults and 2 children. It's clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. If only they could help set up the futon beds for the children, that would have been great! After a long day travelling from Niseko to Tokyo, we were very exhausted and yet, we had to set up the futon beds ourselves. Akasaka train station is 10 min walk away. As the location is not very central, we had to change many train lines to get to the tourist attractions. Many of the train stations in Tokyo are not stroller or wheelchair or old people friendly, as they do not have lifts. Some do not have escalators. Be prepared to walk up and down many flights of stairs. We will still come back to stay at Mimaru Akasaka.

Akasaka is a business area,so even in the central of city it still need transfer to the tourist sports instead it will be a sound place at night. Regarding of the train station ,as a foreigner lived here for 10 years,totally understood. Its hard to find the lift and less escalators.Unless you tell the staff who work there you could hardly get help with the wheelchair. We loved Mimaru for our family trip in Tokyo. We were a family of four with children 12 and 9 years and it suited us very well. Our friends with the same aged children stayed too and we were allocated rooms on the same floor near to each other. It was in a great location, close to the metro and we used the 7/11 across the road a lot for food/snacks. The facilities were good and very clean. The rooms were a good sized compared to many other options in Tokyo. Although there is not restaurant or room service we didn't need it as the streets nearby had everything. Thanks for a great stay.

All rooms can accommodate 4 Adults and 2 Children below 6 years old so it’s really a great option if you’re traveling with a family. MIMARU Hotel is only 5mins walk from Akasaka Station Exit 4 that makes it comfortable to travel around Tokyo. The Hotel is surrounded with a lot of Restaurants and Convenience store where you can buy some food and snacks even late at hours. There’s also a Restaurant in the Hotel but they only serve from lunchtime until 11PM depending on the number of guests they have for the day. We do apologize for the Room Service option, but you can always call the front Desk Staff using the Smart Phone inside your room. It has free internet access, so you can always call us even if you’re outside the Hotel and we will do our best to help you. MIMARU TOKYO Akasaka Front Desk Team
Good base to visit Tokyo”
Nice appart hotel in a quiet area. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room. Small room but comfortable. 2 single beds, futons on the tatami. A lot of USB ports near the beds. We would have appreciated real windows instead of frosted ones. The staff at the front desk was very nice and welcoming. 5 minutes from the subway station, easy access to all touristic sites (most centrally located ones are only few stations away but almost always need a transfer). It was great to have a convenience store just in front.

Neighborhood is nice with an excellent noodle restaurant. Would have been better if there was more hooks in the bathroom. Overall we had a great stay and enjoyed the services. Good value for money!

Awesome place. Loads of restaurants and 24 hours convenient stores around. It's walking distance to Akasaka Metro station where there is also a Toyota Rental Car service just across the road. The crew here is awesome. They had been extremely friendly and helpful. We always travel with our 2 little kids, and this is by far one of the best stays we had in Tokyo.
