Nice resort, not too commercial”

Nice resort, not too commercial. Unlike reported elsewhere, the breakfast buffet was continually refreshed throughout the morning. Daily cleaning was appreciated and reception staff was very helpful and friendly. We would come again any time.

Great beach”

The resort is right on a beautiful beach and set in a well kept garden. We had a garden room which is furthest from the beach but just a short walk. The pool is quite small but no one uses it as it is 10 m from the beach. It is not cheap but for the island, which is not cheap, is good value for what you get. Good breakfast too. The only complaint is the gardens rooms are divided in 2. They are very nice, spacious and well appointed but the walls are very thin and you can hear next door quite easily. I would stay here again if I returned to the island.

Pros: very nice and big bungalow, beautiful beach, great location, free snorkelling equipment&kayaks, nice pool, nice restaurant with a good and full breakfast buffet. Cons: very expensive diner restaurant, wifi didn’t work in the bungalow (#8), staff shouldn’t call at 7:30am to ask you about your afternoon navette!

We loved this place. It was truly paradise. Great food! The only issue was dinner didn't start until 7 pm which was hard on our young children. Amazing place.

Too expensive for such standard”

Our stay in the resort is not pleasant. Food in the resort is not at all nice and too expensive. This is already a downside for us as we will have breakfast there everyday when we are there. This is a lot of lack of information when you booked something through the resort. For example, when we booked a tour through them, they said that lunch will need to ordered as it was a whole day tour. Naturally, we ordered but we didn’t received any lunch from them during the tour. Luckily, we packed some snacks in our bags. Secondly, there were also no notifications of which tour bus to take. All of the people who are in the tour are left having to find out ourselves. It also takes about a while of figuring out as we are all in the French speaking island. Resort staff will not even there to help even we booked through them. As there are only a handful of accommodation, we are really left with the expensive and sub-standard service provided by the resort. The only good thing is the room is really comfortable and clean.

Absolutely not a 4 stars hotel!”

Location is great, the beach is beautiful and the bay is full of fish, do go for this. The breakfast buffet is ok, with basics like bacon and eggs, ham and fruit. On the other side, the staff has no idea of how they are supposed to welcome the customers and the service and facilities are not worthy of a 4stars hotel. No wifi in the room (only lobby and restaurant), no activities folder, no menu... You have to read and do everything at the lobby, knowing that on this island, there is no possibility to just walk in for anything. On top of that, your main contact - the receptionists - make you feel like you bother them when you ask something and don't know the answers to hotel related questions. Also, Agoda stated that check out time was 11am but I was called at 11 by the reception to tell me the check out time was 10. Funny enough, I had just tried 4 times to call the reception to get my bags picked up from the room and got no answer. Sum up: good location, bad service.

Very nice resort but extortionately expensive”

For the price its possibly just about worth it. The facilities are very nice, the setting is spectacular, the rooms are very clean and big. Its just very very expensive.

The bungalow and the beach are amazing!!! The meals are very good and of good quality. But... ex: at the snack we take a small salad and the price is ridiculous (2 000 xpf), that is desapointing the price at the restaurant and the snack are out of common sens.

Excellent sejour a l'ile des pins avec situation exceptionnelle, bungalow confortable, restaurant de qualité sans oublier la gentillesse du personnel On regrettera cependant l'absence de wifi dans les chambres et la médiocrité de la signalisation ainsi que de l'éclairage nocturnes des allées du domaine

Bungalow confortable, bien équipé, calme, dans un joli jardin tropical . Personnel avenant et souriant. Restauration de bonne qualité. Bon petit déjeuner donnant sur la plage. Nombreuses activités.

Excellent séjour à l'Oure. Le personnel est gentil, le bungalow est très bien et spacieux, la nourriture est excellente, le matériel de plage est mis gratuitement à disposition (paddle, kayak, masque et tuba). Seul bémol, nous n'avions pas été prévenu qu'il n'y avait qu'un seul restaurant (les autres fermés pour cause de rénovation) et que la piscine était fermée (pour cause de rénovation aussi) ce qui a déçu les enfants.

Comme partout, quand tout se passe bien, tout est parfait. Le problème insurmontable pour des professionnels de l'accueil était une différence de tarifs entre ce qui a été réservé et ce qui a été payé. Notre réservation stipulait petits déjeuners inclus, mais Julien de la réception nous a vaguement expliqué qu'il s'agissait d'une erreur du site de réservation et que les petits déjeuners n'étaient pas inclus...il nous a expliqué ça au moment de payé, pas à l'arrivée. Un geste commercial ? Un mot d'excuse ? Non, rien, juste une arrogance indigne du lieu, irrespectueux des clients, en nous faisant bien comprendre que nous étions un peu les seuls dans ce cas, en essayant de nous faire passer pour les râleurs de service. Heureusement, au même moment, 2 autres couples avec enfants étaient là pour payer, et devinez quoi ? Même soucis, le montant de la facture était encore différent de la réservation. Dommage d'être arrogant et humiliant avec les clients, le lieu est tellement beau.
