Overall is good”

Thanks for upgrade because that is typhoon 8 and 10 during staying. we spending whole day in hotel, breakfast with in room dining is normal and second day with buffet is wonderful. Lunch at the Chinese restaurant quite nice. Just location too far from the city but is near airport bus station.

Air Conditioning in every room is broken. ”

This was a 4 star hotel. And I expected that all amenities were in good working order. We transferred to three different rooms. All of their air conditioning was broken. A very huge disappointment on our part. The staff didn't really care and showed no sympathy. The hotel itself was extremely far from points of interest. The staff rarely smiled. Not the best experience for me, but the hotel anesthetics was nice.

reception ”

We booked a triple room and the reception said only a sofa bed can be provided for the third bed. It was shown on the website that all three beds should be standard when I booked but I gave in. And then! The reception said she would arrange me a room to get in first and then she would send someone to set up the room sometimes later. I checked in 1.5 hours after the check in time (like near 5pm). The sofa bed was not ready!? Did you guys not know how many rooms were booked? I was supposed to wait till the evening for set up or bed which was a downgrade...? Her attitude was not helpful at all. She literally said no option, no room, no way. Eventually another staff stepped in and gave us a room with two double beds. Yet, it’s not like a 2-star hotel. And I expected more. The reception needs training. It’s my first comment here, imagine that.

Clean and near bus station”

Clean and near bus station but far from tourist sites. Ok for family with young children coz they have big rooms thats why we chose to stay there. But if you're traveling solo or adults better to check in tsim sha tsui and near mtr. Over all very nice and quite, big room, clean and safe. Away from the very busy street of hk.

It was a very pleasant stay. Spacious, clean rooms, friendly staff. few stops from Bus stop , Train station was 10 minutes walk. Plenty of options for dining as the hotel complex has several restaurants.

Great but wish they could expand currency exchange”

Great location for the event my daughter was attending in Science Park. Room was large and comfortable. They didn’t get to answer my email query about if there was a shuttle available from the airport to the hotel. You can reserve and pay for a seat on the hotel bus shuttle back to the airport. They also give the option of taking a public bus to the airport. When I was at the hotel, glad they could exchange US dollars. Wish they could also exchange Philippine pesos. Housekeeping, concierge and reception staff was kind. There’s a nearby Catholic church (less than a 5 minute walk). Also a nearby 7-11, supermarket and restaurants. Good value for money.

Amenities around hotel.”

There's a airport direct bus (A41) to this hotel. Spacious and clean rooms. My hot water only comes in after a few mins of water running. This is a down side. 2 bus stops to Sha Tin MTR/interchange. There are eateries, 7-11, supermarket and pharmacy beside the hotel. There are also a few massage shops. For those interested to place a horse racing bet, the HKJC outlet is also few mins walk from the hotel.

the place is really nice & comfy. it is a good walk to & from the MTR & there are convenience store a block from the hotel. there are also restaurants around the area. generally, the entire stay is amazing, one thing that stood out to us is that there are 4 of us in the room but we can only 2 can connect to the WiFi at a time. also, i think it would be better if they can let guests rent an adaptor for charging be ause we had to make use of the USB slots behind the tv.

We got this hotel because it was near the venue of my daughter's competition. There were good restos and groceries around the area. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Very near a catholic church too. Had a view of the river and was able to watch the dragon boat festival from our room.

Comfort plus”

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Regal Riverside hotel. Large, comfortable, modern and clean room with a great view of the river. Kettle and teabags supplied, adjustable air conditioner, and a bottle of water each day. All staff were polite and most helpful. The spa area had a jaccuzi, steam room and sauna for guests. And a large swimming pool. Breakfast buffet supplied a wide variety of foods, and coffee. Fantastic!

Nice Stay and Great Staff”

We were arrived to hotel since 6 a.m. in the morning and asking the staff for early checking in. The hotel was fully book at the night before but they have so many rooms checking out in the morning too. The front office staff was really helpful, finally he let us check in at 10 a.m. And also the HSK Supervisor who check up our floor, She was very friendly, she gave us some drinking water as our room is not suppose to get free complimentary drinking water. The location is not very good but there is convenience store and good restaurant near by and small bar just at the first floor of the hotel.

Pleasant and relaxing stay”

The hotel provides very spacious rooms with modern design. For the bathroom, it needs updating and to include a bidet. The housekeeping regularly cleans our room and provides adequate amount of amenities. The hotel's location is very accessible (By bus and MTR). There are several convenience stores nearby. There's also a nearby Dai Pai Dong where you can eat authentic Hong Kong foods. Overall, I had a pleasant stay (19-23 September 2018) at Regal Riverside Hotel.

Terrible will never go again ”

My daughter paid online but there was an error so I was already in Hong Kong I went to the hotel to one of the staff called Joyce. She told me we’ve not paid so I paid in cash, but she didn’t tell me that my daughters credit card was accepted and two payment was made. She was terrible so rude and unhelpful she didn’t want to help at all. I just want to say if this is the service your providing this hotel is terrible.. The stay was stressful, the beds were terrible we had to swap rooms 3-4 times. Finally they upgraded us, when we had to check out because I had to stay an extra day I had to swap rooms again. Your staff Ben, he was terrible, so rude so unhelpful. He wouldn’t give me back the deposit because he said that I lost the receipt due to so many room changes I misplaced it. When I said I want to speak to the manager he was like go on then see if I care.. My daughter called the duty managers both Dominic and Jackie Ng was the only people who actually help us. Never will we go back

Rude staff”

Rude staff. They eat meals with guests in uniform and jump in front to get food at breakfast!! Tiny rooms. Bad view. TV doesn’t work. Not a private bathroom. room miles from elevator. Have to pay for room service by cash even though registered credit card

Poor service ”

-failed to respond to contact question sent prior to arrival - concierge ignored simple question - reception manager actually made us move into another line when we’d already been waiting during check in, did not acknowledge at all and ignored when mentioned during check in -had two nights booked for same price, but made us change after first night when we requested to stay in same room

Disappointing”

It was far below any international standard for a hotel. Room smelled and it was far too expensive for the value. Not helpful to a friend who needed a wheelchair after injuring herself at the conference. The hotel wanted a 1$000 deposit to bring colleague down the elevator and they refused to help. I refused to pay the deposit and brought her down on my own. Very disappointing for a world class city like Hong Kong!
