I took a supreme-capsule to have a bit more space - it was spacious, and comfortable . The facilities are great. The spa offers sento (hot bath) with whirlpool function (42 degrees), ice-bath (16 degrees) and a sauna. Outside you can hang out it comfy chairs with private tv, or you grab a beer and eat some cup-ramen at late night. Really good place to relax after a long day in Ueno / Tokyo. It’s close to the Ueno Station, to a shopping street and you can walk to Akihabara (10 mins).

Safe, Clean, Busy, Friendly”
This hostel seems to be a huge destination for foreigners. There are floors for men and floors for women. You cannot access the floor of the opposite sex. The capsules are bigger than most places, and there are lockers. The common area for the women was very open, relaxed, and therapeutic. The area featured manga, television, a refrigerator, cooking utensils, a separate shower/ restroom and makeup area, and massage chairs. It felt like an escape from men. It was lovely. The staff was friendly and attentive. The location is easy to spot and a good walk to the station. For those with travel disabilities, this location will be some extra effort to get to, and there are stairs that cannot be avoided.

Perfect!”
I like it here! Very nice and friendly staff. Near Ueno station and Ameyoko market for food tripping! Clean rooms, lounge area is big, there's microwave for your food, and foot spa. Bathrooms are clean too (free shampoo, body wash), there's a specific area for make-ups where there's free facial toner, sunscreen, facial wash and hair dryer! I will definitely be back here.

Everything was great”
I booked this hotel for two nights and other hotel for two nights. Price are almost the same, but this hotel is so much better than the other. I should hv spent my four nights here. It is clean and bed are wide. Toiletries are prepared and there are even a small indoor garden in the hotel. Not only sleeping, but i can also relax by using their facilities. I would definitely go back again if i go to tokyo.

Great and cheap”
Love this place, in a prime location for food, shopping, transport, etc. Skyliner to and from the airports is right around the corner, as is Ueno station, a major hub for local lines. There's ample (unattended) luggage storage which they will let you use before and after check out which is appreciated. Personal lockers big enough for a backpack too. Capsules are super spacious and everything is kept very clean. The onsen/sauna is the big plus here and worth the price alone. My one gripe is the Men's "Smoking Room" which is located on the same floor as the showers/baths, and RIGHT next to the laundry machine. This room does not have adequate ventilation, and my hair smelled like smoke fresh out of the onsen. My clothes sat outside of the dryer for no longer than 2 or 3 minutes and were permeated with cigarette smell. It's pretty gross to take a fresh, hot bath and get your clean clothes out of the dryer and still reek of stale smoke. Would still highly recommend this hostel!

Very Recommeded Place”
I highly recommended this place. Very cleanness, comfy, quite, and strategic. Nearby station and public place. Easy to find food corner, cafes, coffee shops, stores and many things. Booking room from Agoda's apps more cheaper than you book on the spot at the hotels.

Sparse, but clean and quiet”
I stayed in the male dorms in floor 7. Typical capsule hotel, good if you just need a bed and shower. Only a public bath/shower on the 4th floor if that matters, other toilets and sinks on the capsule floors. 5 minutes from Ueno station. I'd recommend.

Excellent for Solo Lady Traveller”
The location is nearby to UENO Station, UENO Park & other shopping areas. The staffs available 24/7 to ensure the cleanliness and ladies areas are really excluded/secure from the others areas. The bed is comfortable and spacious.

Value for money”
Located near Ueno station which is convenient for catching an early morning train. All rooms and clean and tidy. It amazing that for the price, you can get a hot bath and sauna.

Amazing hostal”
Really clean and cool hostel. It offered nice organic toiletries. It has a really cool decoration and very well equipped facilities. Would totally stay there again.

Good accommodation in Ueno district!!!”
The accommodation is very good, receptionist is very helpful and so nearly to walk from Ueno train station (JR / Subway / Keisei) and ameyoko market. There is a convenience store next to the accommodation (7-11) . The accommodation is fully equipped with pajamas, shampoo-hair condition, shower cream, body&Face cream, hair dryer, towel, toothbrush,cleansing - oil cleansing.

Busy”
It was very conveniently placed close to Ueno station. The entrance is from a busy shopping street. I was a little bothered by the lack of policy around quiet time after 22:00 or 23:00 o’clock which meant that everyone was packing and unpacking in the middle of the night.

Inside this hostel has everything you need! What I have got impressed about was the layout of the facilities. It was so cultural and local! And the cabin was awesome too😃 fantastic experience!

Great Value in a great location”
This was my first experience of a capsule hotels (aged 63) and as a light sleeper I was worried. I slept really well and was comfortable, and did not really miss having a private bathroom. I stayed in other capsule hotels elsewhere in Japan, and in terms of facilities and location this one came out on top. Highly recommended.

If you're not used to the culture of Japanese public bathing and its etiquette, this place is not for you. Otherwise, this is a very lovely hotel and I will definitely come back again in the future.
