One-nights stay ”
An initial mix up with the booking meant that I paid twice for the same stay, nothing staff could do to help me, it was a task for me to cancel one of the bookings. The hotel was clean, food was good and location is also good for a stay in nuwara eliya. The hotel is still under construction with rooms still being furnished but the quality of the room and bathroom was great for the money you pay. Unfortunately we only stayed one night, not due to the hotel but because nuwara eliya can be seen in one day. A good stay nevertheless.

Beautiful clean hotel with a great view”
We had a wonderful time during our stay, the hotel rooms were very clean and comfortable with a beautiful breathtaking view of the Nuwaraeliya.The hotel breakfast was awesome. We enjoyed our stay very much and the staffs were so kind and helpful.One of the perfect hotel we have stayed in Srilanka.

Good location with decent facilities”
We were two adults and one child who traveled in mid April . Location is excellent and is very close to city centre. Room size adequate with all amenities. However I feel it was overpriced may be because of the season. Breakfast buffet was OK. I was disappointed with hotel for not providing accomodation for the driver. Overall it was a pleasant stay

Great food. Great View. Great hospitality ”
I just loved the food at this hotel. Location wise its an uphill climb, and you have to come down the slope to find transport, but then the view of the lake and the valley is beautiful. Staff was very cooperative and especially the hotel manager. He is super nice. I will definitely come back to this place for another vacation.

Very helpful staff clean hotel the best food around the place is in this hotel so always eat here !!! Location is close to the lake a little difficult at night to find if the cab driver doesn't know the location. Rest is all said above one of the best hotels around

A little slice of heaven”
We only spent a night here but we were very impressed by the standard of the room and by the service. After the train from Ella, it was nice to be greeted with warm face towels and ushered into the dining room for a cup of cinnamon tea and some jaggery. The room was spotless and the bathroom was wonderful. It had the best hot shower we've had anywhere in Sri Lanka. Slight problem the next morning when there was no hot water, but this was quickly remedied. The manager was very helpful in arranging dinner reservations and tuk tuks for us. I would highly recommend this place.

Cozy and spacious room”
This hotel is in a good location, quite close to Lake Gregory, just follow the road and you will see a big sign. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was courteous.

Friendly family run hotel with an amazing view”
Nice hotel that has just recently changed ownership. The couple that now own it did their upmost to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The home cooked curry was amazing.

Unpleasant welcome”
Very unfriendly welcome and instruction to us and another couple to stand out on the balcony and wait and demanded to know if we were staying for dinner with no menu prices or times given. The ones show be kept well away from reception and someone pleasant greet guests as the rest of the staff were very nice and friendly. Owner also tried to give us the wrong room until we refused to accept it then the proper one was offered not good

Stay was pleasant, however the hotel needs to improve on the variety & quality of food available for breakfast. Room service is good albeit a little slow, but that somehow adds to the laidback culture of the town.

Unrealistic charges”
This hotel is not that big as it seems in images, it's not worth to pay such charge for this hotel room, buffet breakfast also not there, breakfast served on table was good but with fewer options. Here at Agoda check out time mentioned is 12.30 but they will start asking you by 11.30.

Friendly staff, but dirty linen and cold - wouldn't recommend ”
When we arrived here we were impressed with the building and reception area. When shown our room, however, the pillow cases were so stained that we had to ask for them to be changed. The towels were also stained, I was relieved when they smelt clean. The room was very cold and draughty with no heating options, not to mention you could hear every noise in the corridor. When we asked for a doona at night time - the staff we're very obliging - but it was so filthy we ensured we touched it as minumally as possible. The food was pretty decent and the hotel was helpful in arranging a driver for us to Horton Plains with a breakfast snack pack (one for the driver too). It was bearable for one night but if we were staying another we would have moved. Definitely not worth the $150 per night we paid - especially when we have stayed at other beautiful places for half the price.
