Cosy & friendly staff”
The room are so spacious and cosy. all 3 of my children can run freely in the room. The environment are so peaceful for released tension. For assam pedas lovers, just a walking distance from hotel. will came back.
Great location but slow customer service.”
Location is great; clean & spacious room/bathroom; Customer service during check in and out is very slow; requested for an extra bottle of mineral water and have been charged RM2 for it.
Overall is good experience ”
The receiption wait us late when we reach around late midnight and fetched us when taxi is reached. Check in speed is fast and staff are all helpful and provided prompt assistance when we changed travel plan and asked for taxi to Johor. The only cons is that the room 206 is above the breakfast area and sound proof is not good when kitchen staffs are talking very loudly and moving trolley to collect used utensil. If you expect to have gym or swimming pool, you may be disappointed as well. Breakfast spread is not wide but more than enough if you are not picky.
Wonderful place to be at! ”
The service is so awesome and the staff are very friendly. The hotel interior and rooms are all of a very rustic and vintage Peranakan style. It’s within 5 minutes of walking distance to Jonker Street but it’s not noisy at all. I’ve been to stay at Heeren Palm Suites twice and I would still go back again!
This place always delivers! Beautiful, spacious rooms, luxurious beds and the best breakfasts. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. It's just steps away from the Jonker area but private and quiet. One if our very favorite places.
Great locAtion just 2mins to jonker street the only issue is the carpark maybe. Nice reception lady who allowed us to check in early . Not suitable for older folks as you need to walk up the stairs ask maybe for 2nd floor cos we were staying on the 3rd floor . The stairs are rather steep. Generally we love this place but will consider coming back again
Lovely heritage hotel near Jonker walk”
Walking distance to Jonker walk. Free parking available. Clean and large room, with space for little one to run around. Friendly staff, helped to carry luggage to room given no lifts. Beautiful heritage designs and structure. Limited options for breakfast.
booked a grand deluxe room. room is perfect!! location wise is good next to jonker street only.. breakfast wise is Ok.. for those Malaysian want a 5 star hotel breakfast please go and check in a 5 star hotel.. during the midnight, there are those babi trishaw and motor with loud speaker and exhaust bypass the hotel creating a loud noise.. what to do? Malaysia boleh...
Excellent service by staff Omar... always ready to extend greetings whenever he sees me. he even offered to let me use his personal hp when mine got stolen along Jonker street. Other staff are also friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. Not much facilities. Breakfast decent but can be better. Lobby area requires a makeover and a paint job, 1 desk for reception looks pathetic. They have beautiful exhibits but lack presentation. Parking can be tricky, just stop at main entrance and staff will follow and guide you to personal parking lots behind building. Overall still a good experience though I lost my hp...
Right in the centre of the action”
We can't recommend this hotel highly enough! A converted merchant house situated in the middle of chinatown. Close to the action yet quite and peaceful. Great staff, great breakfast. Fantastic value for money.
Authentic Peranakan Experience”
This is our first time staying in this hotel. It is located closed to Jonker Street where all the night market is. We were greeted with very friendly and helpful staff (Sanfur) when we arrived at the hotel. This hotel in a huge, traditional Peranakan house with a modern decoration. The room is big and comfy with basic amenities. Simple breakfast is inclusive too. I will stay here again when I next visit Melaka.
Large room but noisy at night”
Pros Love the huge room and the toilet (there was a tub in the suite). Plus there was a day bed which could be converted to a day bed. All staff were very polite, and Saiful at frontdesk was particularly nice. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. Walking distance to Jonker. Cobs Noisy at night at times.
We Simply Love This Hotel!!”
Great location and walking distance to Jonkers Street. We were served with refreshing drinks and towels upon our arrival and given a quick tour while waiting for our rooms. Rooms were spacious and uniquely furnished. TV channels had rather poor reception. Breakfast was awesome albeit the limited selections. Kids had their little play corner near breakfast area which we thought was excellent. We could gather outside our rooms at the cosy sitting area after the kids were all tucked. We will definitely be back for our next trip!
Elegant, quiet hotel”
A welcoming hotel with unique decor of baba nyonya house. Upon arrival, we were served with wet face towel to refresh ourselves and guava juice. Room was spacious and staffs were helpful. Breakfast was also decent. Cleanliness was tiptop.
A nice hotel with a heritage touch”
Hotel with a heritage touch. Nice hotel, spacious & modern room, comfortable bed, friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast was good. Location was convenient - within walking distance to Jonker Street and nearby attractions.
Enjoyed our stay with Heeren Palm suites ”
Check in and out was fuss free and easy. Our initial room had a power failure and we had a free upgrade to a bigger room. That was very pleasant. Only thing which was a bit of a turn off was the situation of the room which faced the road. It was really noisy. But other than than that it was a pleasant stay.
Very nice hotel”
Very nice hotel.Enjoy stayed here.Only the bathroom is not comfortable because we bring our children. Its transparent. Not nice we can see person inside the washroom.Overall everthing ok.Will stay again here.
Like staying in a Chinese wedding suite ^_^”
Firstly, THANK YOU for acceding to my special request for Grand Deluxe Suite with a Chinese 4-poster bed. My man and I love the gorgeous room – it felt like a Chinese wedding suite! This hotel is actually made up of a few refurbished Peranakan townhouses. The Chinese day-bed by the window was our favourite spot to chill-out with a cup of tea after sightseeing in the scorching Melakan weather. The beautiful bed was also very comfortable and we slept really well. We also love the huge bathroom – just that you should add a towel bar to dry wet towels after showering. The location of the hotel is also perfect - just one street beside Jonker Walk. It is far enough to shut off the action of the night market, but near enough to walk to good food and shopping. Service was also great – the ice-cold towel at check-in was a God-send! The breakfast was a simple but delicious spread, with “proper” coffee and tea. Finally, we would like to say a special THANK YOU, to the sweet Chinese young lady at the reception (in the afternoon of 15 Oct 2016) for handling our dinner reservation at a nearby restaurant (sorry dear, my man didn't get your name). In a nutshell, gorgeously comfortable room, good service and epic location. Think we’ve just found our favourite hotel in Melaka!
Stayed here for two nights. I arrived around 10pm on Friday night, but the young front desk girl didn't have any welcome drink prepared (I read on other reviews they prepare for you, not sure because it was the daytime). The shower water was also lukewarm. For the hotel price, wish they could of had hot water...There was a small dead ant as well when I opened the body soap they prepared. Also, the same young front desk girl was there in the morning. The directions she gave me were completely wrong . At least I had GPS to figure it out on my own the right directions. She mentioned the restaurants around don't open up until 12pm, but again, she was completely wrong. There are plenty of places to eat around well before 12pm!! Most places are open from 9am.. The wanton mee lady on jonker street is open from 7am as well!! Also, the walls are thin so I was woken up to the staff talking downstairs (I was on the second floor) at 7am.. Also, no curtain so it is bright in the AM...When I wanted to sleep more. There were also stains on the pillow. Other than the negatives, the hotel is nicely decorated with peranaken furniture and art. Bed was comfortable to sleep in and the room was spacious (Junior Suite). Less than a five min walk to jonker night market and plenty of eateries. Oh yeah, be prepared to pay 2 MYR per night for "heritage fee" at the hotel.
This hotel is very vintage as having the perankana feel. Location is very near to jonker street. Parking is very easy as they have their own parking space at the back of the hotel. The price is very reasonable for that area. But This hotel do not have a lift. And rooms near to the road is quite noisy at night and morning. It better to request rooms away from the road. Overall is good.
