Excellent Location with good facilities”
The location is perfect 10 min walk from Gare Du Nord and 5 mins walk from Poisonaarie RER stations, the place has a lot of restaurants nearby. The look and feel of the hotel is modern and sleep quality is excellent. I would recommend to everyone who wants to stay near the station area.
We were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff. The room is clean and is in modern design. Shower pressure and temperature are good and easy to control. Quiet environment. Walkable to Gare du Nord and close to another metro station. Convenient. Safe feeling.
Good hotel for exploring Paris without breaking the bank”
Hotel used for a long weekend in Paris(4 nights). It is walking distance from Gare du Nord (ideal for UK visitors arriving on Eurostar with wheelie cases) and facilitated easy access (metro or walking) to central Paris attractions. It is only 10 minutes from the spectacular Montmartre cityscape views. We didn't make use of the breakfast; there were ample cheap cafes nearby. We did make use of the conveniently located Carrefour Market store nearby for fruit and other provisions. The staff were attentive and always helpful. Overall this proved a good, sensibly priced, well located base for exploring Paris and we would definitely stay there again.
Don’t get the great reviews for this place?”
The room we stayed in was on the top floor and very basic. The shower is under a slanted rooftop so unless you are 5.2ft (158cm) you pretty much need to bend the entire time and hit your head a couple of times when showering.
The cleanliness has room to improve”
The property is in residential area very safe and quiet. The location is convenient about couple minutes to metro and bus stop. Lots of restaurants nearby to eat too.
Great value but depends”
Overall, this is a great value for a 3 stars hotel. Room is small and clean but the layout is cozy and allow enough space to open 3 luggages on the floor. Location is very quiet, close to Gard Du Nord train station, and some bakeries around the area. Personally, I have a little higher expectation in hotel so I think the blanket cover and pillow covers are a little rough and somewhat dusty. However, for the room rate in the mid $100 range, this is definitely great for value.
Super friendly staff along with modern and clean rooms. Helussi Hotel is a hidden gem!”
We travelled from Switzerland to Italy to France & Helussi was by far the best hotel we had stayed at our entire trip. Helussi exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we stepped in to check-in, we were offered a beverage from the friendly staff. While they're preparing our room (we arrived earlier than check-in time), the manager came over to offer us guidance to where to go in Paris and how to get around the city. Helussi is conveniently located steps away from the Poissonaire Metro on the M7 line. Easy access to all of Paris's landmarks. In the other direction, you're a short walk away from various dining choices, from bistro's, cafe's, & other ethnic (Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Middle Eastern) cuisines. Helussi does offer a breakfast option at 10 Euros/person, but their breakfast selection is not as vast as other hotels. This could be seen as a negative for some, but we would rather eat at a restaurant close by. We'll definitely stay here again if we return to Paris!
A Hidden Botique Jewel”
Don't be put of by the unimpressive front sign on the street. When I entered, the manager greeted me by name , my first time stay, and invited me to come, sit down, and have something to drink. It is a small, almost intimate hotel, located on a quiet side street, and the manager has the time to see to every guests needs. The morning buffet is very good, and the Metro is only a block, or so, away.
Incredible Staff and Facility”
An incredibly friendly and helpful staff. They made tour and restaurants bookings and help with directions at any time of the day. The location was fantastic; 2 minutes to a metro station and less than 10 minutes to international rail station (Gare du Nord). Within 30 minutes walk to just about any tourist site. The only small small complaint was that there were no English TV stations but then we came to Paris for the French.
Great hotel with amazing staff”
This was our first time in Paris so we weren't sure what to expect. The hotel needed up being fantastic. The rooms look brand new and are very nice. The staff is externally helpful and the area where he hotel ended up being great. There is a metro stop just 200 meters down the road that will get you anywhere. All in all it was excellent.
Welcome by staff and additional assistance throughout the stay was awesome. We arrive early so the hotel staff stored our bags and made dinner reservations for us that night. We ended up returning to hotel after dinner and had a nice surprise as our bags were already placed in our room upon arrival. Upon departure, we once again stored our bags, had a lovely day in Paris, and the hotel let us use a shower to change prior to departing to our late night flight. One night the concierge recommended a French restaurant just 5 minutes from hotel called Bouillon - the food was excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel!
The staff were absolutely fabulous. They couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms were small but perfectly formed and the breakfast was great value for Paris prices. I would stay there again and recommend it to others. Great value for money.
This hotel is very convenience to go to gare du nord, the train to CDG airport. Very enthusiasm staffs with exellence english conduct. Room was clean, comfy and a bit bigger comparing to same type of hotel in paris.
Paris quik trip”
Very nice, yet short, stay... Great location near Poissoniere metro station. Very clean rooms and bathroom, with working a/c. Comfy bed and pillows. Very helpful bilingual front desk staff. Wish we could stay longer...
Hi hotel booked on recommendation of resident in the same street. ”
Came to celebrate my friend’s 70th birthday and to meet her friend of 30 years who lives across the road from this hotel. He always recommends this hotel and it was ideal for our stay.
All of the staff were polite and friendly and important to me all spoke English well. The room was just as it looked on the website. Very nicely decorated and clean.
Good location, silence, cleanes, friendly english speaking staff. Client oriented.”
It was kindly nice to request about our preferences regarding transfer, maps, routes, tickets etc from the hotel nanager prior to check-in (one week before) by e-mail.
Small hotel in a quiet area - highly recommend”
Great staff with local knowledge. Comfy bed. Clean room and bathroom. I will stay here upon my return. Much cheaper than what you can get on AirBNB.
Our stay at Helussi was fabulous. They location was great and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
convenient location, rooms on the small side though”
near to Gare du Nord and another subway station, many eateries around which is great! staff were very friendly! rooms were a little small for us, but i am not sure if it is just a Parisian thing (my first time in Paris). beds were also way too soft which made our stay rather unpleasant unfortunately. Overall, still a good place to consider for its central location.
