At first glance a well placed hotel in the centre of Kratie. However when we looked closer at the room there was what appeared to be rat or animal droppings down the sides of the bed and one or two on it! The owner, as lovely as he was, also appeared to try and push various activities at great expense. We initially booked the bus to siem reap with him, however later found several places offering the exact same journey for alot less and we weren't able to get the difference of $7 back. Be warned if you are heading to Kratie the dolphins are quite expensive at $15 for the tuk tuk to the river and then $9 each for a boat. We were not expecting it to be quite as expensive!!!

decent location, quiet
Very underwhelming. We live in Cambodia so nothing surprises us, but the customer service was particularly poor - restaurant staff resentful of customers and inattentive staff in the hotel. The cleaner banging on the door and trying to break in whilst ignoring our cries to wait very early in the morning just to give us an unneeded bottle of water was a new one though. We noticed plenty other guest houses and restaurants offering far better service for half/a third of the cost of a room here, so there are plenty of better options in Kratie.

diverses kleines ungeziefer im bett und im bad. haben unsere schlafsäcke benutzt. kein wc papier auf dem zimmer. haare der vorgänger im bad. dusche war eigentlich ok. eher lärmig. die zimmer waren auch für kambotschanische verhältnisse max. 1.5 - 2 sterne wert. nun zum personal: wir wollten per minivan nach phnom penh weiterreisen. dazu haben wir 2 tickets für je 7$ beim hotel gekauft. so weit so gut. nach 5min hat ein mitarbeiter vom hotel an der türe geklopft. er hat uns darüber informiert, dass die minivans überbucht werden und uns ein anderer anbieter empfohlen. laut ihm, dies auch nur weil wir über agoda.com gebucht haben. der neue anbieter war 9$ pro person ausserdem haben wir auch dort 3 sitze bezahlt, damit man uns garantiert, dass wir 2 sitze für uns haben. norm. werden 4 pers. auf 3 sitze gequetscht. wir haben schlussentlich 25$ (2$ rabatt) bezahlt. im weiteren soll der neue anbieter auch eine klimaanlage haben und der alte nicht. wir haben umgebucht, danach folgte die schlimmste fahrt in 4.5 wochen laos/kambotscha. in unserer reihe war eine dritte person plus 2 kinder, klima anlage ging nicht (extrem heiss + stickig), krähender papagei, sehr laute musik, kotze von den kindern im fahrzeug, respektloser fahrer, absolut kein platz für die beine, sehr viele kurze stops. anstatt 4h war der bus fast 6h unterwegs. insgesamt ein extrem schlechter ratschlag vom hotel.
