This friendly, family-run hotel is facing the Pleasure Beach on the Blackpool’s South Promenade and has free WiFi in public areas. With modern rooms and a bar, there are also delicious breakfasts. Each of the rooms has a TV, free tea and coffee and a private bathroom. Some rooms have a large flat-screen TV. The bar and games room offer good views of the sunset. Blackpool’s lively town centre and famous piers are less than 2 miles up the coast. Blackpool Tower is a 5-minute drive away, passing restaurants and shops on the way. The Henson Hotel is just 50 metres from Blackpool Pleasure Beach Train Station, and 1 mile from Blackpool Airport.

Faded and tatty”
I'm sure the cleaner tried their best but the cushions and carpets were stained and very old especially in corridors. Some refurbishment is required to make this hotel acceptable.

Great location if your going to the pleasure beach but the hotel was freezing cold( heating on a timer) but it never warmed up. Breakfast was very poor, bacon could have broken windows. Definitely not worth the money. Bedrooms were big but not comfy at all.

Basic hotel , rooms ok , need a bit of updating .stayed for 2 nights , breakfast was very nice , cereals, fry up , toast , pancakes , ok to catch tram just over road about 100 meters to main town , bus stop outside hotel , plenty of free parking in front of hotel , very good and helpful staff

Nice place to stay did ask online if I require a smoking room I did ask if I can have a smoking room and got a nock on the door to say o can't smoke in the room after smoking but other than amending they don't have smoking rooms on the Agoda website was a great stay close to places etc good bar also

Just what is expected for this sort of money , only catch was when I presented at the desk I was asked to pay extra ,even though I had booked for 2 adults and a child ,the room that I had been allotted was not suitable apparently, and I would have to pay more. Left me feeling that I'd been mugged right off , bed looked like some1 had pissed up the side of it, lucky all the bedding looked great, so fine for 1 night . Would not have wanted to stay much longer though .

Didn’t disappoint”
Our expectations of Bkackpool accommodation were already low, and at £40 incl breakfast it was bargain. Tiny tired drab room, awful hard small noisy bed. Decent enough size shower though no gel or any simple toiletries. TV worked which must make the difference as other elderly guests Moana’s no remote. Gent managing the show was polite and doing his best. Friendly bloke.
