Located in Wellington, this historic building is surrounded by sprawling green lawns. It features an outdoor pool and a lovely sun terrace. Free parking is available. Hermitage Hill Country Retreat is a 4-minute drive from Mookerawa Waters Park and a 5-minute drive from Macquarie River. It is an 8-minute drive from Mount Arthur. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV, heating and either a private bathroom or access to shared bathroom facilities. Most rooms have their own balcony. The 2-bedroom cottage includes a free standing bath. For those who are looking for a wedding or function venue, Hermitage Hill Country Retreat offers a large ballroom and banquet facilities.

Didn't realise it was a shared bathroom till we go there. Old farts like me need shower and toilet facilities in a self contained unit. We are not used to a communial dining room and having to unlock the door and go down the hallway at 3 am for the toilet.

Lovely place to stay”
I read a lot of reviews which complained about creaky floors and noise. This must have been fixed as there was thick carpet in all the rooms and hallway. We didn’t have any issues with noise. The staff were wonderful and the room was great. Overall, we had a lovely stay at this hotel.
