No towels, toilet paper or hot water... staff were friendly and tried to accomodate to our needs.

Great Location but then expect nothing else”
Location
One of the simpliest hotel room I ever been to! Bed, (dirty) carpet, towels on request, no glimpse of decoration, no soap, no extra... On our check-in the Receptionist forgot to tell us the door code and thought we staid for 2 nights instead of 3...we staid stock outside in the cold and rain on Sunday night and we had to wait for 1 hour for the manager comes to open us.

You get what you pay”
Location, price
This is not really a hotel, it is more like a hostel. The rooms are basic and can hold groups of people in bunk beds. We were a group of six and had booked two triple rooms but on arrival they gave us a 7 person bedroom without a clear explanation. The room included a bathroom with shower but barely had any spare space to put luggage and clothes. It seems like the hotel is being refurbished but they haven't quite finished. The room was just about bearable in terms of cleanness and the beds are uncomfortable. The room also had a window which seemed relatively new but had holes above it which let in the noise from the street and made the room quite cold especially at night. The shower had a door which didn't close completely so after a few showers the floor was completely wet but it worked none the less. No towels were provided initially but they gave us some on request. There was a TV but it did not work. For 30 pounds a night per person it is not bad compared to other hotels and it is located in central Newcastle close to the train station and all the bars and restaurants. If your going cheap with a group of friends and planning to go out then this is a decent place. Avoid if you're looking for a place to get some good rest as it can be quite noisy.

Disappointed and cheated”
Location
This place should not be categorised as a hotel at all. It is more like a temporary shelter for homeless. The only thing that we get is the room, bathroom, bed and slow wifi. No tv, no basic toiletries provided.
