Hesperia Granada is a historical property with antiques and paintings adorning the warmly decorated rooms. The property is located on a quiet street not far from most of Granada’s major tourist spots which can be reached on foot or by public transport, including the Alhambra. On the premises, the hotel has its own restaurant, El Melson, serving local and international dishes, while the bar is a great place to kick back and relax with a drink. With lots of shops and restaurants nearby, this hotel remains a popular choice with tourists looking to explore Granada.

Wouold stay again.”
Sad to leave we loved our stay at the Hesperia Granada Hotel. Our only complaint was that our GPS did not get us anywhere near the hotel, and 1 1/2 hours later we found it. Suggestion is if you are driving into a medieval city and have booked a hotel in the centre, ring the hotel and get directions before you enter the city. Our hotel, once found, was charming, parking provided (but extra cost) and we could leave the car parked during the entire stay by walking or taking a bus.
Great Hotel - great location”
Granada is a beautiful city, the Hesperia Granada hotel is in an excellent location within easy walking distance to the sights and many good bars/restaurants. The hotel itself is lovely and the staff are very friendly and helpful
The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring Granada. The hotel is attractive/traditional. The staff are really good/professional. Last time I used the restaurant the food was first rate (lighting a bit harsh though which spoils the atmosphere). The rooms were very cold at night but they gave us a heater (heating will be coming on soon so only a temporary problem). I would always return to the Hesperia and recommend it. For breakfast - definitely cheaper to eat out and lots of good cafes within a couple of mins walk.
Hotel with Classical Style ”
Granada is a tour city with rich traditional culture. Of course, do not expect this is a large hotel. This hotel is good family trip. Hotel looks classical with his own design style. The hotel room is nice and coze enough for you to stay 1~2 overnights, especially with its closeby to the city center square and the most important scenery site, Abrhama Palace.
The location is in the heart of the city so that makes it good and bad. Good because it's walkable to anywhere. Bad because it's hard to find in the small roads of Granada - especially with a car. Don't trust GPS here, talk to the hotel staff directly on how to get to their parking garage (a plus). I went on a weekend where there was a music festival and I booked last minute so the prices were astronomical. So for me, the value for money was just so-so. But I'm sure if you book another date or booked earlier, then the value for money may be more worth it. I loved that they had a robe and slippers. Big plus in my opinion.
Second visit to Granada”
One of the few centrally located hotels in Granada to offer private car parking and this was the main attraction for us. There is a special route to get to the hotel through restricted access streets, some of which are quite narrow, but it is not difficult to follow (ask the hotel for a map). The hotel location is perfect for exploring Alhambra (25 mins walk) as well as all the main attractions of the city. It is two blocks in from the main roads and is nice and quiet. Rooms are large and nicely furnished. The bathrooms are also large and quite modern. There is a restaurant / bar attached to the hotel where we took breakfast (they also serve lunch and dinner but we didn't take these). Breakfast was basic but adequate and nothing like the banquet still breakfast laid on by the Melia hotel where we stayed previously. We had booked 2 superior rooms for two couples (supposed to be the same as standard rooms but with a view). On check-in we stood at Reception a full 5 minutes while the two reception staff typed on their computers fully aware that we were waiting before attending to us or even greeting us. We eventually received rooms, one of which had one window looking out into a alleyway and the other which had 2 windows one of which looked into an alleyway and the other which looked directly out onto the wall of the adjacent building - about 6 feet away. Both rooms were dark. These were clearly not the superior rooms we had paid for. Overall the hotel is fine, good location, nice rooms and competitively priced, but we were disappointed by the sloppy management and staff who seem to think the guests come second to their other duties and that the guests won't notice if they are allocated lower grade rooms than the ones paid for. We would probably stay here again because of the parking benefit, but we would simply book a standard room next time to avoid disappointment and take breakfast at the Hotel Melia which is fantastic.
Peace and quiet”
Our stay was quite pleasant. The room did not have a view of any kind, but one doesn't come to Granada to stay in the hotel. It is a 5 minute walk from the historic area, but far enough away that you will miss the tourist crowds.
Comfortable, relaxing, quiet (which is great!)”
We were a party of four with two rooms. Both rooms were clean, neat and inviting. The staff was courteous and helpful throughout our stay. Check-out was quick and easy. We will definitely recommend this hotel to others, and we would return to this hotel should our travel plans include Granada in the future. Thank you for providing a very comfortable, homey-type stay for us while we were traveling abroad!
Large rooms friendly staff”
The location from city center was about 5-10min walk, it was easily accessible. They staff at the hotel were very friendly who could speak really good English and were able to provide all the answers to my touristy questions. The rooms were large and very clean, very satisfied. Would stay here again.
Good and comfortable hotel in center of Granada”
Hesperia hotel would be a perfect hotel to explore Granada if the staff checked you in the right room you've requested as the hotel was in the center and all attractions are within reach by walk (for Alhambra you can take bus!). I requested a twin bed but turned out to be in a small double bed room. After complaint to the staff, she apologized and reallocated us to better/bigger room in the next day.
Lovely hotel in Granada ”
This was probably the best place we stayed during our three week trip to Europe. Centrally located in Granada it was walking distance to the main sightseeing spots. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful - and seemed to never sleep! Recommended.
We had a wonderful stay at NH Centro. It was a really good deal for the price. Everything was within walking distance. Room was clean and comfortable. Not all the staff is fluent in English so that was a challenge at times but I would definitely recommend. Also I would recommend taking a taxi to the hotel or public transportation as the alleys are very tight and a difficult drive.
Location and value for money.”
Located in a very central location and very easy to get to Albaycin, Sacremonte and Alhambra. While seems remote at first, after one day of exploring the city, I was pleasantly surprised to find how conveniently located the hotel is. Plus, the hotel staff was very professional and helpful and helped arranged within hours a flamenco show held in Sacromonte with pick-up right at the hotel lobby for a reasonable 33 eur/pax. Definitely worth the stay if you're looking for a value-for-money good location hotel.
Comfort in a foreign land”
We stayed for 2 nights and had an excellent time. The hotel is conveniently located in a shopping district with a variety of restaurants to choose from including Halal restaurants for the Muslims. Fell in love with the hotel the moment we checked in as the lobby boasts a high ceiling area with a touch of Andalusian interior complete with a water fountain in the middle. Perhaps the hotel can extend wi-fi service to all rooms instead of just the lobby.
Fabulous staff, great location”
We had only booked a short stopover to visit Alhambra en route to Morocco, but I would have liked to stay longer. The position of the hotel made sightseeing a doddle and the staff were incredibly helpful with strong language skills. The beds were amazingly soft which was great and although the rooms weren't overly large, they were tastefully furnished and had a minibar. The two minuses were that the restaurant was only open for breakfast - but there are a range of eateries closeby and breakfast was good; the second was Internet only in public places and incredibly slow!
Central Hotel, but Old and Difficult to reach”
The hotel is quite close to the town hall and some of the sightseeing destinations are close by, but the hotel itself is an old building, and even the bedding etc is quite worn - think creaky bed springs that dont have much of a 'spring' left in them, so you basically sink into the bed - so a good nights sleep was elusive for us. Also, if you happen to drive into Granada, parking is available at the hotel if you finally do manage to reach it - significant construction in grenada city and the associated traffic redirections meant we were looking for the hotel for a good hour, driving through obviously restricted roads (think single lane old city cobbled roads), and then we had a whopper of a parking bill at 18 Eur per night plus taxes. Highly recommend NOT visiting Grenada with your own/rental car. In general, there are other NH hotels close to this one, which might have the hotel standards that one would expect from NH...
great food, nice room,bad parking”
the hotel is losated in the heart of the old city, which is great if you don't have a car. if you come by car, all roads leading to the hotel are for autorise cars only. you must call the hotel first and get your number listed at the police. we drove for more than an hour and then asked a taxi druver to show us the way, when we got there they had no place for us to park so we had to start looking for a place outside the old city.breakfast was great.
This was a pretty hotel with good amenities on a small back street. It was centrally located making it easy to get to any part of town. There are also plenty of places to eat nearby. We took a cab up to St Nicholas viewpoint and then walked back (downhill) to the hotel which took us through the old silk market where there were fun stall selling souvenirs and also some nice shops selling free trade goods.
Good location. Lots of amenities. Clean hotel. The staff needs some help in customer service. ”
Many of the staff were unaware or not knowledgeable of the various activities outside of the hotel....whether the tourist office was open or not and other rather basic questions. Overall, the NH Collection run very nice hotels.
elegant atmosphere in the heart of granada”
we had very nice time in this hotel, the hotel is very central and allow you to enjoy the city. then the service was good
