The place was easy enough to find, the receptionist told me they didn't accept checking in until 3pm,though I'm sure I read on here you could check in early, told me her English wasn't very good, found most things by myself, capsule seemed clean enough, except for the back of the sliding door, which looked like someone had sneezed all over it, the usb sockets as people had previously mentioned need upgrading, the left one measured in at 0.5w and the one of the right at 1.5w, the plug sockets as previous reviewers noted, need some serious attention, before they start an electrical fire, the pins inside have been pushed down, it's an easy enough fix for a qualified electrician, and a problem that will only get worse over time, similarly the plug sockets in the bathroom do not seem to be covered by a gfci, so be warned about using anything in a damp environment there. As with many places it seems ok as it is, you notice the cracks on closer inspection, mold on the ceiling of the bathroom, blackening grout, knackered toilet handles or the hairdryer just caulked into an electrical box onto the wall I'm told that bedding is changed every 10 days if your stay is 10 days or longer, no eating or drinking inside the capsules, although that didn't seem to stop many people as the smell of food in there at 2am made me hungry. They seemed to be building some more lockers at the time of my visit (February 2024) and it wasn't until near the last day I found my capsule card opened one of the other lockers to have been able to store my things in, I think this may have explained the prevalence of luggage left around the rooms in which capsules were contained. Unlike most hotels, there isn't always somebody at reception, possibly due to the low number of staff, however there usually seemed to be a cleaner in the toilets/bathroom area The toilets contained signs stating not to flush toilet paper, and a bin was provided, though I never saw any evidence the bins were being used for toilet paper, although enough evidence some people didn't know how to flush... Kn one occasion I noticed an unknown person sitting by the top of the emergency stairwell, trying to sleep, I don't think they were a guest of the hotel or a member of staff (they seemed to be a teenager) and possibly just someone who had wondered in off the street, putting pay to the level being only accessible by your hotel key card. There are a number of open drains around the hotel, connecting the sewer, covered only by a grating, the smell of which would sometimes rise and come through the windows late at night, though closing the window, it was usually open again by morning. Reception seemed to have a lot in it, though the chairs and stools seemed tired, and the coffee table needs retiring, I was told this is the area you should eat in if you bring food back to the hotel, though the view from the window wasn't entirely inspiring, it would have been a little better had they been clean. Expect long delays when using the lifts as it shares two lifts between 9 other floors, and don't be surprised if you find yourself in the storeroom of the supermarket downstairs number of times before you actually between the 8th to 9th floor.

Although the capsule is small, it is cosy and neat. It'd be perfect if the height of the capsule can increase. There is a closet room to place our luggage. The bathroom is clean and contains plenty of compartments. I spent a lot of time in the common area and managed to type up a sermon manuscript. I met a new friend as well. Good place to stay while in Taiwan”
It was my first time in Taiwan and I’ve chosen this place to stay since it is affordable. If you know how to commute by train in Taiwan, it is a great place since it is so near in New Taipei Bridge station (Yellow line). If you’re not familiar with it, it is only few minutes away from Ximending but it’ll cost you around 180NTD per ride. The capsule and room is clean. The bathrooms are so so. They also don’t provide bath towels so make sure to bring one if you’ll stay here. If you forgot to bring a towel, you can rent it at them (I forgot the price). The front desk is not available 24/7 unlike the other hotels in Taiwan. The door of your capsule has its own lock and can only open by your key card from the outside so it is safe to stay there. Aside from the nearby train station, there’s a lot of stores outside of the building! Note: I went in Taiwan during the winter season so the capsule temp is okay. But I don’t during summer. Also for reference, my height is below 5ft 😅 so the length of the capsule is okay for me.
