Exceeded my expectations”
Everything was perfect except for the guy from the kitchen personnel. He's so rude to people. He seems to hate and misinform anyone who does not speak Hebrew. Avoid him if you can.

Exceptional”
The facility was very nice. I stayed overnight at the hostel so that I could run at the Dead Sea Marathon early Friday morning. I checked out of the hostel Friday morning, as planned, around 5:25 am. I was disappointed that when I made the reservation, the Hostel did not allow me to check out late on Friday, was not willing to pack a breakfast for me, was not willing to hold a breakfast for me, and was not willing to refund me for not having the breakfast.

Clean and basic. Good view. Loud.”
Rented a double room, which was basic and clean. Good View and Good starting point for the sunrise walk to Masada. Poorly soundproofed, so can get very loud if there are school classes visiting.

Overpriced ”
It’s located on the property next to the Masada so the location is prime . The room was super small and stuffy. No a/c so we had to leave the door open to get any breeze. Food on Sabbath wasn’t much. Several in the group did the 530 am hike so it was great for that. Kids played outside until about 1000 pm so if that noise bothers you I’d choose another place. We were basically stuck because of the lateness of our reservation. The bed is a very small short and hard mattress so if you like hard beds with your feet hanging off the end with a stuffy room this is your place

Very good”
Handy location, but the decision to have open sewerage pond near the entrance in that heat is quite baffling.

Absolute winner”
I'm a seasoned traveler, and admit I had felt I had "graduated" from ever staying in a Hostel. But, while researching for doing the Massada sunrise hike, one comes to realize this Hostel is really the only game in town unless you wish to add on driving time at 4:30 in the morning. So, I booked it. This property is an absolute gem. Very clean and quite modern. That said, it is a Hostel. So, you get cafeteria-style dining and bare-bones, but a clean and modern room and facilities. I booked a private room, which is still a great value. There were enough food choices that most folks should be able to find items they are willing to eat. So, throw away the Hostel stigma. This place is terrific and the only place to stay if you are serious about the Massada sunrise hike that is a stone's throw away.

Best hostel in the area”
This is the only hostel near Massada. The hostel is new and very clean. They don’t have mixed dorms. My wife and I booked 1 bed in male dorm and 1 bed in female dorm. When we arrive no beds in a male dorm were available. So the staff gave us private room for the price of dorms.Breakfast is very good, bus stop to Eilat and Dead sea is very close.

What a view!”
Easy to find. Staff on front desk were incredibly helpful. View from balcony towards Dead Sea was really zany. Pool was wonderful! Breakfast was fab. Big, clean communal areas. The room was OK with a good sized balcony and the bathroom was incredibly roomy. Not even 5 mins walk to entrance to Massada which is a real bonus at 5 am!

When we arrive no beds in a male dorm were available. So the staff gave us private room for the price of dorms. We are very lucky. We are very greatfull to Russian speaking girl at reception. We don't know her name but she was the best hotel staff we met in Israel.

Best location to climb Massada!”
We staid for 2 days and 2 nights. Excellent stay. The room had a lovely view to the Dead Sea. The rooms were very clean, the swimming pool was awesome! It is the best place to stay at if you want to climb up to Massada at sunrise. The hostel is located at the foot of the hill. It is only a short drive away from en bokek, where the public beach is easily accessible. The main drawback is the price. When you are a large family then it is worthwhile to stay in a family room for 6. Otherwise this is a very expensive hostel.

Perfect for Dawn Hike”
This is a large and efficient hostel with good food and facilities that is a perfect option if you want to hike to the top of Masada at dawn (beautiful). You can get up at 5am, do the hike and be back for a good breakfast and snooze before setting off to your next location. The rooms are functional but comfortable and are clean but not to hotel standards (floors not mopped etc.). The place is like a large boarding school. Views from some rooms and dining room/lobby are nice. Recommended.

Everything perfect but if we can check in sooner (maybe at 12am) and check out later (maybe 11am) is the best.

We received a receipt with a lower amount than what we were billed for on the Internet. I don't understand why we were not refunded for the difference.
