Worth a visit!”

The road to the homestay is quite challenging and narrow, but the journey to get there is definitely worth it. Our unit was very clean, with quite a large bathroom and a kitchen. The scenery is beautiful, with lots of nice places to take pictures. Yukata rental is available for inhouse guests at RM18. The staffs are very nice and helpful. They do have a cafe but we didn't eat there as we brought our own food from the city. Overall this place is definitely worth a visit :)

Great ambience, value for money”

Overall a very impressive stay. I managed to rent the japanese costume at only RM18 for photo shooting at the homestay. Spacious & clean room with living room, kitchen, reading room. Beautiful view (morning and night) and fantastic photo shooting sites. Super value for money. Friendly staffs. Highly recommended!

Totally worth it with a stunning view”

we stayed in a unit called SHIMO. I think this is the best unit compared to other because you can clearly see the spectacular view of Gunung Kinabalu. it’s so amazing. despite the road heading to Hidden Hill was really challenging, it’s all worth it. The staffs were all really friendly and helpful. things to improve: add some more food at the cafe such as heavy meal (nasi, mee etc) as it was so challenging to get out for food.

This place was recommended by a friend & definitely worth it! We checked in for 1 night at shimo home. The house with Japanese theme design & interior deserved 5 stars. They have a studio to donning yukata, cosplay etc where you hv to pay rm18 per person. Definitely something new! The road to go there a bit challenging but bearable, we rent a Bezza but still okay. Will definitely come again for the mount view! And recommend others to come! Tq for the service!

Japanese themed house with great view of Kundasang which is a great place for photo taking. The house is indeed very hidden. There’s also yukata renting for visitor and guest to rent to take photo at the place.

Spectacular ”

How lucky owner have a hill land facing Mount Kinabalu. Staffs are so kind and helpful one to one with you. Neglect morning time water unstable because they use pump and something happened during heavy rain and wind. but they were urgently fixed it for you. The place was hidden gem that must explore and the Japanese theme of their place were made the area occupied and nice. You will sitting on top of enterance to see full of Mount Kinabalu. What you asked for more.

Tough road but worth it!!!”

The gravel path leads us to the magical hidden hill Japanese village, friendly and very helpful staffs. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a peaceful place to enjoy the scenery and gather with your friends and family. Please improve the water supply pressure 6pm to 8pm water pressure very slow. but others things is satisfactory. very relaxing and enjoying place for vacation. Recommended place!!

I really love this place except for a few things such as facilities can be improved and FnB is not convenient, advice ppl to come here to stock up food and drinks before staying over. Others are fine.
