Better Stay in Siargo than in Sohoton”
We were disappointed with the place. The resort has little to no supply of water. You have to wait for a certain period or schedule to shower, brush teeth, etc. The beach within the resort's vicinity looks really tempting but we never dared to swim in it. There's a lot of crabs, sea urchins and sea snakes --- yikes! I think they should have at least clear a certain area so that the guests could safely swim. The room looks quite old even though it's relatively new. Most proly because of how the furnishings looked, paint color and random designed beddings/sheets. The worst part was the bathroom/toilet in our room stinks! I did not even dare to use it during the entire duration of our stay. I used the common bathroom/toilet outside our room which was really a hassle. But to be fair, the staff was sort-of ok. They were quite friendly, responsive and they accommodated all our requests. Sohoton is not a good place to sleep in. Better stay in Siargao for they have better resort/hotels.

Beautiful location”
Take your time to explore the areas around the resort. When you are there you will see a mountainous back drop behind all the rooms. You can find stairs that will take you up and down to the other side. Your group will be the only people you see if you do that. EPIC!!

Good hotel in the mid of paradise”
The hotel and environment is fine. It has its cozy environment with fishes on cage.it adds to the beauty and kids enjoyed it so much. Watching and feeding the fish, running back and forth on the pavement without thinking much that they will be gone far. Possibility of fishing for fun and ihopping from island to island is just around the corner. Water supply is ok. You need to inform the hotel in case the water runs out. But we renjoyed our stay and kids loved it. Thanks Hidden Island Resort

Less likely to book again”
Just from the name itself, it really is a Hidden Island. You don't have any access to any other areas except to take a boat ride. So at night, there's really nothing to do. It's also a dead spot. So no internet. They don't even have wifi. There's an area up the hill and by the bach at the back where there's a faint signal. But other than that, not even one bar. Aside from that the resort, especially the rooms, aren't really well maintained. There's a certain smell when you enter the room. The sheets and towels are old. Also, the bathroom was dirty. There was even a time when there were cockroaches in the bathroom. The worst part of our stay was that one of the staffs of the resort was able to get hold of my friend's mobile number and texted explicit messages after our stay in the resort. Very unprofessional indeed. I am disappointed with our stay here.

Almost There”
This is perfect for those who wants to disconnect. No wifi here, and phone signal is scarce. The outdoors is great. A lot of fishes are seen in the area. The rooms are spacious, however, water needs to be pumped from time to time. Also saw some small roaches in the bathroom. If you're looking for a romantic room, get Maming.

The Hidden Island Adventure”
Welcomed by very polite and accommodating staff I would say we had value for money from the superior room we booked. The untimely loss of water and untimely brown outs were inconvenient. It would have been better if they had a notification in each room on the need to reset the water system and generator whenever a new set of guests arrived.Lunch and dinner food was delicious, prices reasonable. I hope they had better breakfast options.

perfect for honeymooners”
Hidden Island is a perfect place to stay in Agus Grandes, Socorro. The view from our room which was at the top of hill was simply breathtaking you can spend the whole day watching the ocean or the islands around the hotel. Its far from the airport or the mainland but a perfect getaway..i♥it there

here is the very quiet and isolated place. literary "hidden" place. unfortunately there is no beach to play or relax. the food was rather good although i don't have much choice.

Ok place for the money.”
The price was good. We got the "Mint Green" Superior Room.The Suites on the hill looked nicer and I wish I had gotten one of those instead. Some rooms have sealife enclosures outside of them. There were assorted fish, sharks and tortoises. Nearby you can see coral, sea urchins and large clams as well as many species of fish. The room was a bit small and like every other place I have stayed in the Philippines, the carpet was dirty. The shower was adequate but nothing great. Service was good as was the food. The fried chicken was excellent. Food is brought to a table outside of your room. The big problem is that everything that you use at the hotel has to be paid for with cash as they do not currently accept credit cards. The room was paid for through Agoda with a credit card. The area is very quiet at night. If you don't expect too much this is a nice place to stay. Sohoton Cove is not far away and is a must see.
