Misleading pictures ”
The pictures advertised on Agoda are very misleading, that building is now abandoned and the hotel has been moved across the street, there is no pool, there is no bar or restaurant anymore, it is all abandoned. Staff not very friendly. Wouldn't return.

The pictures on the Agoda website are completely misleading. The building in the pictures is next door and is not open for guests. The building open for visitors is very old, run down, small rooms, smells bad. Half finished bottle of water in fridge, bed falling part at joints, no water pressure. It was awful and the pictures on the Agoda website should be taken down. The OYO company should be emabarrsed

Worst experience this trip. Travelling and hotel hopping, we booked Pom Pom as an out of town hotel with a swimming pool, a bar and a pool table. The bar and pool table do not exist and the swimming pool (the hotels main selling point) is too filthy to use. On arrival I took it upon myself to use the net that was tangled amongst the rubbish in the pool area. I gave up after quickly realising that the job was too big with all the leaves, bugs, and feathers in the pool. I put the net down on the edge of the pool and that's exactly where it remained, untouched when we left 2 days later. We tried sitting on the broken chairs under the ripped umbrella's by the pool, but the ants and flies that congregate around the discarded food and rubbish were too intense. Our rooms were on the top floor of the building opposite the reception area, it was filthy. The cleanining routine seems to consist of mopped floors and the lower surfaces wiped. The metal shower door frame was full of scum and mould and there was an old pair of mouldy soiled pants in a hair and dust nest on the top bathroom shelf! All high surfaces were very dusty and we couldn't see out of one window, through bird excitement. We might have raised these issues with reception but the woman and her friends on reception never spoke a word more than they had to to book in for the 3 days and 2 nights we were there, and one of our party is Thai national! All we got was a dark look on arrival and were completely ignored while walking past reception during our stay. We've stayed in some questionable hotels and resorts over the years but ropey decor and run down rooms have always been softened by friendly, polite people making the best of what they have to work with and we've never made a complaint or left a bad review. Unfortunately I can't ignore this sort of service.

This is a Motel on a highway”
Small tight room in the middle of nowhere with no view. A dirt path 1.5 km into the city. Its a old motel for truck drivers to stopover. Avoid unless no room left in the city.

Deceitful pictures”
We were shown the best pictures of the place but when we arrived, the washroom door bottom portion was rotten away away. The smell of the sewer was suffocating. The bath towels had holes & the edges were all ripped/ frayed. Shampoo bottle was so small that you probably can wash only half your head & the bed creaks. It was something out of a horror movie! The experience was so traumatizing!

Altough a little far from Hua Hin downtown, we felt the spot was nicer and causy. Still, it's located on the side of a highway, but it remains very calm and a very nice place to stay. The staff can be very friendly and the breakfast is not that bad :) Be reminded that it's included, so a warm rice soup or a simple thaï-american breakfast is a good way to start the day :) The pool is clean and warm enough and a nice spot to hang out when it's too hot to go to the beach. Awesome market nearby with excellent food to bring back to your room, balcony or terasse. There is also a nice little mountain with temples and viewpoint at a relatively short walking distance (15 min?) There are 2 big beaches at a 20 min. walking distance where you can easily spend your days. We booked a room for one night, then booked for a week, and then an other. We would recommand this hotel anytime. It's nice causy and clean, and not a big all-white all-inclusive type one.

We stayed here in February, big clean room in the main building. Large balcony with table and chairs for relaxing and some of the most beautiful tile work in the bath room I have seen. The pool and pool area were clean, well maintained and a welcome break. The place is about a kilo from the beach and the bus stop is just outside the door so a quick ride to town is easy. The town has bars and a nice shopping center at a bus stop (Village Market mall). We spoke highly of it at rated it well. We just returned from south Thailand to spend two nights awaiting our flight out of Bangkok and rented a small, lower priced room (1/3 less). The room was small as expected. The room was clean. Now, I had complaints and did go to the manager who offered us a bigger/different room but the room size was no the problem. I had read some other posts and they had poor/bad reviews and we wondered why when our experience was nothing but the best. Well, the bathroom of the small room was stained with black mold on the ceiling, backside of the door and some on the walls, that's why I mentioned it to the manager. Second, the blanket was just that, a polyester/fake wool, old and scruffy (and no cover or sheet). This was the first time I had seen that in Asia, every place we have stayed (in 90 days) provided a comforter with a cover. The earlier room we had rented here had one too so why did they have this blanket in a cheaper room? SO, LOOK AT THE ROOM BEFORE YOU AGREE TO IT, specifically the bathroom. If you see a blanket, tell them you want a comforter for comforts and hygienic reasons. If you see black mold, get another room. We think this a great place to unwind after a frantic week in Bangkok.

Nice clean place. Big room, big balcony and beautiful pool”
We stayed 7 days and choose a larger room then normal ($18) with a balcony. Room included fridge, big closet, shelves, hot water maker and more. Beautiful tile work in the WC. The pool is wonderful. The place is south of the city but the bus stop is right across the street (20 baht) for a quick trip to town. A nearby restaurant rents motorcycles so we did and traveled to the beach, to town and a temple. The place was nearly empty despite having backpack rooms for $7. Most nights we were the only people staying there. We didn't try breakfast because there are restaurants and food stalls nearby plus we carry a small rice cooker and make a lot of cheap meals. I would warn those planning to swim in the ocean (Gulf of Thailand really) the beach is beautiful but the south beach near the big outcrop of rocks has a sewer canal running into the water. The water and beach sand south of the rock outcrop is dingy gray..oddly that's where so many Europeans hang out and swim. That's sewer water folks. I followed the sewer canal back from the water (by motorcycle) and it is sewage, black water full of waste running for miles dumping into the swimming area. BEWARE. Get sun at the beach but swim at the pool

100% best bang for your buck”
My stay here was awesome.. In fact I re booked 2 more times haha.. It took me 30 hours to get here so I was jet lagged to say the least just wanted cheap place to sleep for a day or 2 but the pool was awesome it's like 5 minute cab to the busy town there are 4 different wi fi's so you are always good .. Ac always working refrigerator in room and they clean your room and top up your water bottles everyday .. Recommend to anyone .. It's cheaper for 2 people then any hostel staff can't speak English but they try there hardest .. And free tiny breakfast everyday in the restaurant that has a pool table and darts ... 5/5

Fantastic For the price, it's good value for the money. Very clean, and causy. Not in an overcrouded spot. Some friendly staff Cute little breakfast included (the soup feels so good in the morning) and nice pool. We would recommand it anytime !

Good value hotel a little way from town”
We upgraded to a better room, the standard rooms were a bit small. There is a nice new wing at the back of the hotel next to the swimming pool. The rooms are large and nicely furnished. Owner speaks perfect English so no problem for foreigners. The Reception area of the hotel is being refurbished at the time of writing with building work going on but was not obtrusive. Overall a pleasant stay.

Poor Breakfast”
The breakfast was limited and poor. First time I saw only soft eggs as an option, no omelets, boiled hard eggs, scrambled, nothing. Only 2 loaf of bread per person (sorry it is ridiculous), looks like the hotel was saving on food. The rest was just acceptable for the price. Anyway good location. Just do not eat in the hotel (staff not well prepared) and you will be fine.

Despicable hotel and very disappointing”
When we booked this hotel, we looked at the photo. It look new, clean and there is swimming pool. When we were there, nothing is like the photo. The receptionist said it is in new building and it cost 3times as much. The lobby was a mess, old and dirty. U can see that they are during construction. The room was dusty from construction and moldly. I feel like i have been despised because there is no picture of the room that we stayed in at all. We neither will go back there nor suggest anyone to go there.
