hillside resort is great place to stay in the middle of the busy city. they are located in a very quite area and far from the crowded and busy vehicles in the town. the staff of the resort are very helpful and very accommodating. they also have a nice restaurant that caters good food. very good place to stay and relaxed.

Highly recommend!”
We are a family of 7. Four adults, one senior citizen and two young children. It's off season so we have the pool all by ourselves. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Alma and Marie Joy have arranged all our tours for 4 days to the tee! They even provided free airport transfer from and to airport with a very helpful driver. The resort is a little out of town and do not serve meals but they have suggested that we buy outside after our tours, and that works for us.

Far yet peaceful. ”
We stayed here for 2 nights. We had a great stay. The place was filled with fresh air and love from amazing mother nature. The room was big for us both and we were happy to be served by hotel staff. The pool was clean and my favourite area was the garden. We bought fish in the area's market and we asked the staff to help us grill the fish we bought. Amazing experience. Highly recommended with friends.

Decent Family Hotel”
I was traveling together with my family for a much deserved vacation. We had a nice bonding time at the resort. My kids enjoyed swimming together with me. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The room we stayed is decent and big enough to accommodate my family. It didn't hurt our budget.

It's a beautiful place with beautiful views. It's also a fantastic deal for the money - it's a little out of the way, yet, they will pick you up at the airport for free. We will go there again.

Ok staff, ok rooms, but location too far from town”
We had a one night stay, and really just needed a place to stay. For this purpose the hotel is ok. Conditions are definitely acceptable for Philippine standards. Staff very helpful and free transfer to and from airport. Some buts are inevitable though: - Hotel located far from Puerto town center. Expensive and troublesome (30 mins. by tricycle) to get into town. A bit of an annoyance. - Restaurant is quite boring and the staff there cared more about watching tele than taking care of customers (seemed like we were disturbing as the only customers!) - The swimmingpool, which seemed nice by the way, was crowded by a horde of youngsters, that dominated the area. This was the situation for the two days we experienced daylight there. We asked the staff if they were guests. They weren't, just kids celebrating a birthday. Not satisfying for a paying guest!

Beautiful grounds but problems with the plumbing”
We were put in a room where the bathroom sink drain ran out all over the floor. Then moved to a room with no water in the shower. When that was fixed, there was still no hot water and I had to take a shower in the office area. Moved to another new room the next day. For our trouble, they knocked ($7) off our total bill. Breakfast was pretty expensive and it wasn't on the menu so we didn't know the price till we left and had to pay the bill. Pretty far off the beaten path but within walking distance from 2 other nice hotels so you can get variety in dining out. Nice pool but very cloudy water.

Satisfactory 3-night Stay”
If not for the excellent service by the staff, I would rate this establishment much lower. For the quality of the room and facilities, the room rates were overpriced. Fortunately, the swimming pool, the spacious and peaceful countryside and hillside locale, and the friendly and helpful staff made up for the overpriced accomodations.

As expected, ang babait ng staff and they assisted us through out our stay. I loved the place, pagdating pa lang namin ang tahimik ng place, relaxing, you'll hear a lot of birds around. Super nag enjoy dn yun anak ng friend ko sa pool specially nun times na hindi naman prefer lumabas or after nun underground river tour namin. They offered the their van for the tour. Also offered to process the other tours like the underground and honda bay. They even the one who ordered our foods na for delivery. Ok dn ang foods sa restaurant nila. You really dont need to go out.

This hotel is great, but you have to understand that you're staying in the philippines. There will be lizards, there will be bugs, get over it and enjoy this place. Service was great, helpful, and the pool/restaraunt makes for a nice evening. The rooms arent the most secure but with 24 hour staff on hand you shouldnt have to worry.
