Great central location for many of Adelaide's highlights. Tram stops right outside the door, its such a breeze to access and just tour the city on. Staff are fantastic and really make you feel welcome. parking can be a bit busy at the front for check in but all dealt with with ease. Room was terrific, clean, comfortable, great view of Vic Square, the upgrade was a nice touch too. Thanks Guys.. until next time Cheers
The hotel is well kept and maintain with very good location. There are two outstanding areas which I felt are outstanding (of course overall is excellent) and stands out among handful of good hotels I stayed. (1) Complementary Internet Access - This is a vital consideration for most business traveler. Thumbs-up especially on connection without any intermittent interruptions. Furthermore, the hotel doesn't limit on the number of devices. (2) Breakfast - Excellent spread of different varieties of food with mixed of Asian delight e.g. good old school porridge (Congee) - Personalized fruit juices - Liberal fruit varieties
We had 2 days here after a business trip for a rest.”
Close (walking distance) to markets, transport, restaurants, shopping & parks. The only thing is parking is a problem. $21/day drive to a seperate multistory carpark (discounted for Hilton) or $38/day valet parking. Unfortunately there is no local parking at the Hilton. Dump your hire car before you get there if you can.
irregular but consistent guest here”
We keep going back to the Adelaide Hilton because it is just so damn conveniently positioned, close to great restaurants, walking distance to the main shopping streets and the tram out the front. The main negative here for us is 1st and foremost the Lobby bar area; It is so damn cold in winter that it is uncomfortable without your jacket on.................there are entrances on adjacent walls that the cold wind streams through. I was also disappointed this time by the hanging space in the room; if there are 2 of you and you are there for more than a few days the wardrobe space is very limiting. The staff are by and large friendly and helpful although when we arrived there was not a concierge in sight and we lugged our own suitcases in. The staff in the Exec Lounge were really helpful, especially I as seemed to visit every time they were cleaning the coffee machine. Good enough to go back to but not sensational.
Good location ”
Hotel is very convenient, near to central market, China town and a lot of good restaurants nearby , and just across the road is the free tram rides to the city center. Only set back is there is no sitting ares at the Lobby, and the hot tub temperature is not hot enough, while the sauna benches really need to be replaced.
Classy all the way..”
Great service. Clean, central, centered around great restaurants. Breakfast was good, but probably could be better. It's more of a no fuss variety which makes easy work for staff. That's my only point.
Our stay here was excellent. Our first night had a little trouble with the aircon being noisy but was fixed the next day with no fuss. The food was good just a little over priced but thats the hilton for you considering there are great restaurants around. Location is great near market, chinatown and coles. Rundle street is about a 10min walk and about 15,20min walk to casino or $10 taxi ride. We enjoyed our stay in adelaide and the hilton added that comfortable stay for sleeping.
It's worthy !”
The stay for 2 nights is worthy for the price we pay. Also very few hotels are pet friendly. The location is just next to Central Market and China Town, there are a lot to eat either Chinese or Italian or seafood. Only one exception, the parking costs $34 per day (they don't have parking space underground), actually people can park their cars in the Centre Market for overnight, if we have known it we would have done so instead of paying that money. In general, a very pleasant stay.
Fantastic high quality value stay”
Very very good stay. Great welcoming staff. Terrific room with a nice view. Extremely comfortable, great bathroom and an extremely comfortable bed. Really quiet. Check in & check out were very easy as was the Complimentary WiFi
A Nice City-Break”
A nice place to stay, the room was comfortable if a bit bland in terms of decor. Great proximity to the restaurants and bars on Gouger street and the Central Market. Not great for parking, it's available but the valet parking is necessary and expensive.
Great hotel with old charms”
We had a lovely stay, the rooms were clean and comfortable, service was great and we got free breakfast at check in! It's close to Chinatown and many restaurants around us. The only downside is that it's not right in the Centre of town, but not far from the main shopping/ entertainment district. The hotel is a bit old but not at all run down, still very comfortable.
it was very comfortable and pleasant.”
it was nice to stay. had very nice deal for this standard of hotel. central market is nearby, lots of restaurants are around, different type of foods are available nearby (walking distance within 5 min.) really value for money
Comfortable room in central location”
Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Located right beside the central market where you can find fresh produce and lots of food. Also very near Chinatown with many asian restaurants that open till pretty late. The only thing is that there is no wifi in rooms unless you are a hilton honors silver member and above. Free wifi is only available at the public area or lobby. Room was very comfortable and spacious enough. Overall a pleasant stay!
More than pleasant!”
A great stay in Adelaide. The hotel is central and clean, even if a little bit dated. Great dessert in the restaurant. We had a swim briefly and enjoyed the proximity to Rundle Mall. Great Asian restaurants just around the corner. Sushi Train kaiten is a winner.
Excellent hotel experience”
It would be hard to fault this hotel. We found the location very convenient, the room and the beds comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. We also found the staff at reception, and in the restaurant, most professional. My only regret really was that we were only staying for two nights.
Great location, clean rooms, good service”
this hotel is in a great location, perfect for sightseeing and a very short walk away from good restaurants, bars, china town, the bus station and most things that you would need as a tourist. the staff were great-they allowed us to check in earlier than usual and upgraded our room. we did not eat at the restaurant but it looked very nice-there is a swimming pool which was well kept.
A GREAT HOTEL”
It was a very pleasant stay. Hotel is a true 5 star, staff very friendly, location is great. The room was very nice with everything superb. It is situated in the heart of Adelaide and is near most of restaurants and bars.
I always love staying here. The friendly staff upgraded my room even though I booked a discounted rate. The room had a great view to the ocean. The buffet breakfast is my favourite in Adelaide. I will stay here again.
One of the best hotel you can find in Adelaide”
It is Hilton Class hotel, well appointed and good service. Hotel located in the centre of city, the best Market is just around corner, also next to 24 hours large supermaket, the free tram stop within the city just on the front door. Hence, you will not have any problem to find good dining places or tour around the city. One small disappointment is the room do not have bathtub, other than that, overall, a good 5 star hotel,
Nice hotel with great location.”
I had a very nice stay at the Hilton. The hotel is located right near Central Markets where there's a real hive of activity, especially on Saturdays. The Hilton staff were friendly and efficient, the rooms were well-appointed and clean. The only disappointment was that there was no information in the room regarding the environmental policy. I left a note for housekeeping asking them not to change the bed linen or towels as I was happy to reuse them. The swimming pool area was nice, and the sauna was great, although for some reason there is a sign requesting that water is not used on the heater in the sauna. The dry heat is no where near as nice as having steam! In all I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely consider staying there again.
