Best Place in the Area”
I had an excellent stay at the Hilton Corniche Alex. I spent the New Year 2015 eve there with nice party (a bit over priced. The Cigar Bar is very relaxing,with especilly the bar manager-Emad who's very accomodating and welcoming. I'm sure will be back to this hotel when be back in Alexandria - Egypt next time.

Friendly staff”
My family stay two weeks @ executive twin room with sea view and private balacony, the hotel decoration is normal and the room furniture is new and clean but not stylish the bathroom sets is old and to be renew. I think this hotel should be rated as 3+ stars.

very unfreindly hotel”
This hotel was one of the worst experiences in my travel for the last few years .... At the entrance of checking in a big fight has begun between staff at the entrance of the Hotel ... this fight lasted for three hours .... checking in was a very bad experience , from then onward every experience I had with working staff was not good ..... all in all Alexandria is a beautiful city but you need to look for another place for accomodation

Poor Hotel”
Poor Guest Focus: If you are in Hilton Lobby cafe or the Lebanese restaurant you need to get up and go to their stations to order or to request service. Hotel staffs do not adhere to any common sense or guest focus etiquette. E.g. although they have service lift at their service, they will still use the guest lifts and squeeze in with the hotel guests with their equipment. This is making the lifts slow and busy due to hotel staff usage. The other day I used the lift from 09th floor to Lobby and it did stop three times by hotel‘s staff which one of them entered the lift with hangers and dirty towels. Poor Food Quality: very salty food and even if you complaint about it they will try to modify and not to put it aside it just to save the cost. E.g. I had salty old Lentil soup in the Lebanese restaurant and they did was remove half of the soup, add some water and some sauteed garlic to it to mask the salt. End result it was still salty and the modification was obvious. Poor chief hygiene: in Lebanese restaurant the chief was scruffy and his uniform was dirty specially on his buttocks area as he tends to wide his hands all the times. Lunch in B1 Restaurant: very strange menu choices for open buffet and most of main courses were in masked by heavy sauce. Very dirty cutlery specially the soup’s spoons in the small basket next to the soup bowl, as I was checking over than 10 spoons for clean one. At the end the chief did check it also and did confirm the problem and asked to be cleaned. 10 minutes later I was offered clean spoon. The food was poor and not cooked perfectly. E.g. Taboula is just tomato and onion with little parsley. Noisy Rooms: very noisy and loud at night as they have guarding dogs who keep barking all night. They have on Saturday night club 35 opened and the club bouncers will bounce out they disruptive guests who will end up in front of hotel fighting and yelling all night.

Not the best hotel. Terms and conditions change now and then”
I had a Agoda booking for 4 days . Once land in the hotel they said its cancelled however they can give a better rate for new booking. After 2 days when I reached the hotel my things were kept out saying I have the booking only for 2 days in the system and the rates increased by $100 per night. Food average same food for 4 days at breakfast. Clearness average the room I had was a suite however for a 5 start it's not even a standard room. V bad smell.

Outdated and overpriced ”
The hotel is badly in need of upgrades. The rooms (especially the toilets) have seen better days, we could actually see rust on the piping. I would not pay more than $60 for the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The issues we had were with the hotel building itself, not the services.

Wrong times are issued between the reception and restaurant and bars. Plastic pieces were found in the desserts and the ground floor restaurant manager seemed nonchalant to the fact. My organization and I will not return to this hotel.
