Room with an excellent harbor view.”
Spacious room with spacious balcony (Room 523) overlooking the harbor. The staffs are excellent as they are very friendly & helpful. Upon checking in, the front desk staff told me that I have 2 options to choose, 1 smaller room and 1 more spacious room with more balcony space. The staff gladly upgraded me to the more spacious room which I'm really thankful for. However, I think the balcony needs a light as it could get dark at night. Hilton Auckland is a hotel to go if you have plans on visiting Waiheke as the Downtown Ferry Terminal is just a short 5 minutes walk away from the hotel. The complex where the hotel is located also has convenient stores and lots of restaurants to choose from. Overall, it's a good stay in Hilton Auckland.
We rate the Hilton as the best Hotel in Auckland, we had our wedding at the Hilton Auckland on the 25th October 2014. Our wedding planner Vira Manley, her team were very professional and the service and food were amazing. I recommend all new brides to be, to seriously consider the Hilton for your special day. They went above and beyond to make our day a truly amazing day to remember from start to finish. Thank you Vira.
Beautiful view of harbor and excellent breakfast buffet!! ”
Clean room with spacious balcony and nice size tub for relaxing after full day of exploring Auckland. Also it’s a qick walk to ferry services and hop on and off bus from the Hilton. Loved it and plan to stay there again on our next trip to Auckland!
Only place to stay in Auckland!”
Try to upgrade to a corner room. The views are really great of the Harbor. The location is perfect - walking distance to the must see best parts of Auckland. The hotel is right next to the area with the most restaurants and nightclubs, walking distance to what passes for trendy shopping in New Zealand. There is no lobby to speak of, the business center ( a desk in the minute lobby with three laptops) has no privacy and the printers were not working - but hey - you are most likely not there to work or hang out in the lobby any way!
Great location for departing for the cruise”
We made the bookings with misunderstanding, when we check in, it like a mess ,fortunately, the manager is very efficient and very helpfull, he sort all the things for us, he made us have a great day,and a very happy Christmas time, we stay one night only for we have book the cruise that depart on 29Dec. from Auckland to Sydney. We do enjoy this hoiliday
Love sour stay at the Hilton , everything about it was great . Will definitely be back next time we are in Auckland.
By the harbor”
Great place to stay in Auckland. Especially enjoyed the fireworks while we were having dinner. Excellent breakfast buffet; kind, helpful staff.
Great couples mini break destination”
wonderfully situated close to great restaurants, bars and shopping. Best of all the location lends itself to many sightseeing options with ferry, bus and smart car options all on your doorstep. Loved our time in this hotel and Auckland is stunning. we will be back again!
Fantastic. Great location . ”
Fairly pricy however it is without doubt the best location in Auckland and service is of the class you expect from a 5 star property . Can't wait to go back !

Looking out at the amazing view of the harbour when you wake up was refreshing...Excellent location, a nice walk to restaurants, shops and the hub of Auckland. Convenient 24 hour store at the end of the wharf.
Location is very good with very nice Harbour view”
Unbeatable harbour view especially staying in the room with harbour view. Easy to travel and go to skycity for the tour. Generally clean of the room but the cutlery/tableware (tea spoon/cups) are abit not in standard in Hilton hotel level, dirt on cup and tea spoon.
Friendly staff. located just by the waterfront of auckland with a beautiful view.
The hotel was set in the romantic location of the Auckland Viaduct Harbour with the naval theme. Our suite faced the water and big glass room walls - modern, chic and spacious.
Comfortable, luxurious, well cared for”
The rooms are large and the beds are heavenly! We were lucky in that there were no cruise ships blocking our view for our entire stay ! 5 nights! The cleaning staff are amazing! Such attention to detail in our room. I would really like to commend the Hilton for their staff who were very friendly and attentive during our stay
Amazing location, great hotel”
I loved this hotel--the wharf location is stunning and so convenient to the city and the ferries. The room was lovely and spotless with a huge bathroom. I enjoyed the fitness room, and although it was too cold to swim, the pool looked great as well. I ate in the bar next to a huge window one night and loved it. It's also extremely convenient to Viaduct Harbor, where there are lots of cool bars and restaurants. Great spot to stay.
A great place to stay in the heart of Auckland with excellent staff n service.
Great location, with spacious rooms and the staff was very helpful. the Room was located at the harbour of Auckland
a night out”
My wife and i had a lovely one night stay at the Hilton , fabulous position , lovely room and great breakfast in the morning. We'll be back.
Prime location, but over priced”
Location, location location! Access to all the bars and nice restaurants, with a stunning view of the prince wharf. Room is spacious with stunning view from a massive balcony. Clean and well maintained but relatively old: just look at the aircon - you need to manually choose between heating, and cooling" - for a moment I felt like we were back to the 90's again. The staff was friendly, especially at the restaurant on Level 1. Arrived at mid-night but they were under-staffed and a big of long wait at that hour. It's little strange they were not able to find my membership number, even by providing mobile number or email address, hum..... Gym is small but does the job well. BTW there was no tooth brush/paste, no free bottle of water in the room (or maybe only upon request). Overall, compared to most of the other Hilton, this one is older, and more expensive.
