Amazing restaurants, beautiful location right by the Dead Sea, cheaper than other resorts there
nice rooms but are slowly getting worn out. e.g. plug boxes beside the bed are dirty, deep scratches in the flooring, showers are sandy,... rocky hotel beach, with possibility to do Dead Sea mud body coating, which is super fun and free. the hotels steam bath, hammem and sauna are not build yet.... but visitors can use spa. the in house Lebanese restaurant is amazing. service is great, professional and friendly. its really a resort, and has a club med feeling to it haha. well, Hilton vacation... haha. internet connection in the room is a little wonky, but it works. rain showers are amazing with great pressure, which is not a given in Jordan.

The good, the bad, and the ugly.
The good, the bad, the ugly. THE GOOD +Nice facilities overall, with gorgeous views overlooking the dead sea. +A little man-made beach down and a pontoon by the dead sea. +The breakfast buffé was way above expectations, especially the local dishes. THE BAD -Flies everywhere, while eating outside or basking in the sun you will get 100s of flies attention. -The beach area closes before 16:30, i asked to go out on the pontoon and take pictures of the sunset but was denied from a rude staffmember who just said, -NO, closing. And started putting upp a rope. Thus leaving the dead sea, the beach and the entire area unavailiable from 16:20ish. -The 1312 restaurant. The meal we had here was so underwhelming we decided not to dine at Hilton again. In fact it was the worst meal we had during our stay in Jordan. I say this as a former chef and restaurant owner. -You can't help to get a sort of prison-like feel to the complex. I understand that the security in the area is a good thing, but barbwires near the beach, rigourous controls to get in, a location in the middle of nowhere, dirty as hell if you just look beyond where you are "supposed" to go even inside the complex... -If you move away just a few meters from the beach, still on Hitons area it is dirty as a dump, with 100s of old cans of tuna etc scattered across the area. THE UGLY. *Our first night at Hilton a staff member starts knocking on our door 21:30 (we are sleeping like babies since 20:00 after hiking wadi rum and petra for days) I try to ignore the knocking and keep sleeping but he wont stop, after a while he also starts to shout -Hallo, or something from the outside. After perhaps 15-25 minutes of this i go upp, try to find a bathrobe to be a little bit more presentable. I open the door and a man barges in saying he need to check the minibar. He opens all the cabinets, he doesnt even know where the minibar is. Finally he finds it, checks it quick and says like sorry or something like that and rushes out ag

Fantastic
The people, room, facilities, everything was spectacular. My only complaint is that I was there in December and the water was too cold in the Dead Sea for me to be willing to go in. I can hardly blame the hotel for that! I will definitely come here again, and just stay at the resort!

No hot water...
Hilton Dead Sea was our last stop, the first and second hotels were a 3 star and a luxury tent respectively. The one thing i was looking forward to was a good bath, and hot water to say the least. Disappointing that this was not the case the night we arrived. We complained and they did send over people to check... this, understandably, took a while. But still, not hot water.... Though, the next morning, it suddenly started working. Thank god for miracles. Also, I had ordered a glass of wine, though served in generous quantities, it took over 20 minutes to arrive. I had to call them twice to check where they were with it. Reception was quite disorganised. Upon our arrival, there appeared to be only 1 person standing at the desk... and there was a queue... Honestly, none of the above would have made much of a difference in a local hotel. But we chose the Hilton for a reason. Next time around, I would pick one of the others in the row of international hotels at the Dead Sea.

Extremely comfortable with attentive staff
An extremely comfortable stay as you might expect. However, we visited before the whole complex was open and the children's swimming pool was closed, which led to overcrowding in the (one and only) other swimming pool. There will be an extra pool available when the spa opens but I have no doubt this will incur an additional charge. So this 5* resort has only one, two-tier, pool to accommodate a large number of guests, which I find surprising. The Kempinski and Movenpick Dead Sea both have two pools each for general use. Apart from this, the access to the Dead Sea is wonderfully easy compared to other hotels in the area and features an amusing pontoon deck with an area for swimming/floating inside. There's a well-appointed mud/shower area, a lifeguard on duty, a towel stall handy, and a bar nearby, so this area of the complex is a total success. The only quibble is that, unlike the Kempinski, no free water was handed out to guests on the beach; in 42* of heat this would have been a courtesy as well as showing concern for the well being of the guests. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and the breakfast quite delicious with a range of food to suit almost every taste. The staff were charming and, when our balcony door jammed, the problem was addressed and solved within 20 minutes. There's a delightful bar at the top of the main building and another bar in the large and beautiful lobby, which has a staggering view over the Dead Sea. I would particularly like to praise the impeccable service in the Italian restaurant. So, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay - thank you, Dead Sea Hilton.
