Nice hotel, great staff”
We arrived for a one night stay (before leaving for a cruise out of Ft.Lauderdale) at 6am after a red eye from CA. The manager, Derrick Moore was so accommodating and helpful, allowing us to relax in the lobby and at the pool while we waited for our room. They even provided early check in (11am instead of the normal 3pm). Thank you, Hilton!

Great marina views ”
I would definitely stay here again. The room was clean and comfortable. The marina views from the 11th floor were magnificent and the custom service was top notch.

Great view but overpriced”
Check in was flawless. English speaking staff and that can be a hit or miss in the area. Snack bar had several options but pricey for the convenience. View was beautiful of the bay area but at $383 for one night for a double bed room there are way better options for the money.

Ok hotel but really nothing special”
Stayed for one night during a business trip. It's another ok Hilton Hotel but really nothing special. Beware of which room you get- some are very old and tatty with paint coming off the walls and are musty and generally not inviting. Didn't look anything like the photos. I asked for another room and this time in the main tower which was much better but still not amazing. Cleanliness could be much better; bathroom had a quick clean and it certainly never got vacuum cleaned. Pool was constantly out of towels. Long wait for check in, check out as well as for food. Staff were nice enough but never apologized for the long waits or old room. All in all, it's not great value for what else can be booked in the area.

Good”
Very dated everything was from 1981 and never refurbished. Walls were so thin that you could here the next room doing everything and with young children that’s not good. Bathroom was falling apart, carpets stained and fraid. Not happy at all

Lots of Issues”
The check in time was listed as 11am so I made arrival arrangements with this in mind. When they told me they were charging me $25 for early check in I showed the front desk check in rep the itinerary noting 11am check in. I asked if this could be honored and was rudely told "absolutely not!" If I had an issue I could go back to the online site I booked it through as it was their fault. I thought instead I would get lunch at the outside restaurant to wait until check in. The rep told me it was closed until dinner and the lobby cafe was the only place open to pick up some lunch. I checked in, paying the early fee, and proceeded to my room. Only 1 of the 3 elevators were working and the lock on my door did not work. I tried to call the front desk as instructed by housekeeping by my door but no one picked up the phone after numerous rings. I went down and reported the lock issue. I then picked up a snack at the cafe and went out to the pool to discover the restaurant was in fact open. The only saving grace is that I was staying only one night and the room was at least clean.

Completely overpriced”
We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times before hence our return visit. The location is first class with everything you need close by. However, I can no longer reccomend it. We were given room 2228 in the West Villas wing. The check in clerk informed us it was overlooking the coastal waterway which incidentally is where we have always allocate Sadly for us, it was overlooking the very busy 17th Street road which isn't conducive to a decent nights sleep, even more so after a long transatlantic flight. The room was filthy. There was old chewing gum stuck to the carpet, the back of a band aid underneath the dining chair and it's pretty obvious the skirting boards hadn't seen a duster of any description. The standing lamp was broken, the bath was devoid of any enamel and the' stainless steel ' wall light was rusty. I understand Hilton hotels operate a 100% satisfaction guarantee policy so hopefully I will get a response from them. I hope they like the pictures I have taken.

Stay elsewhere”
Due to the inflated prices during an international event, at $367 a night, we elected to get a basic room. They put us in the older section of the hotel and I can not speak of the tower where the main lobby is. HOWEVER: the first impression of our room was it was old, run down, tired and in desperate need to either be renovated or plowed down. I really wish I would have taken pictures. Paint was chipped off the wood work and doors, the light bulb was burned out of one of the two lamps in the room. Our phone didn't work in the room. The first day, our room wasn't serviced until 4:30, the second day, NOT AT ALL. We ordered coffee and pie in the lobby and never got the pie. I received a text from the hotel asking how my stay was and I decided it was only fair to tell them since I wasn't pleased. To my naive surprise, I was talking to a bot. You'd think an unsatisfactory comment would be flagged and addressed, but no. My advice is to stay elsewhere.

Bad management”
I stayed in February for 2 nights at the end of a 4 month travelling holiday. The hotel placed a hold on my card for incidentals. This hold didn't come off. I emailed Hilton honors and had emails sent to the manager 3 times who I was advised was the only one who could fix the issue. The manager never contacted me back. 30 days later the hold dropped off once I got back to my own country and was able to contact mybank. A month travelling short on funds due to their error and not even a reply. Could not even offer an apology. Very disappointing for a Hilton.

This is not the standard I would expect from the Hilton brand have to say. Plus you have to pay for parking as well.

Horrible ”
Customer service Horrible! Starting from the front desk (Micheal) to the GM Melissa Lane. Unprofessional and no sense of urgency. Rooms below standard, filthy, small and did not get what we paid for. Comforters lumpy, sheets have stains and holes, burn marks on the carpet. Conditions deplorable only place of refuge was the balcony. Thank God for the balcony. Will not return to this location very disappointed about the experience with Hilton especially behind a Hilton Honors member.

Yuck!”
This was the nastiest Hilton I’ve ever stayed in. The toilet, which I have pictures to prove were not cleaned and had dried poop along the rim. The room was not cleaned, but we had no choice at 1:00 am to stay anywhere else. Toilet was also backed up. Convenient to the cruise lines.

Great location”
A hiccup on arrival, there was no registration of the Agoda booking a phone call soon fixed that. The hotel is old but well maintained and wonderful character. The meals were great, staff friendly and caring. Perfect location for the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show and lots of opportunity to network with other guests also visiting the show. Only one problem and that is no room service after 10pm and the restaurants are closed also. Would definitely stay there again.
