hilton is cool”
Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk is a really nice hotel to stay in. The staff is nice and their English is good which is really convenient for oversea tourists. The breakfast is attractive with wide range of food. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Hilton is close to Fukuoka Dome and the transport is convenient, the bus to Tenjin area is just on B1 level of the hotel!
Classy hotel located close to Fukuoka tower”
Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk is located in the modernly developed Momochihama area, very close to Fukuoka tower where beautiful cityscape can be overlooked, especially at sunset and dusk. Note that it takes approx. 30 mins to get to city center (Tenjin and Hakata station area) by bus or subway. This hotel is very classy (no surprise, though), and room is spacious. Free wifi available in the lobby. Rooms use LAN cable for free internet.
Superb hotel and first class service”
Arrived for a short 3 night stay after a conference, deciding not to stay in a hotel the middle of Fukuoka. The views are pretty stunning from the Sea Hawk, with a vista across Hakata Bay, the impressive Seahawk baseball stadium on one side and the Fukuoka Tower on the other. The room was a good size and the beds very comfortable. Service was excellent, as was the breakfast though this may have been due to the world buffet promotion that was on at the time. Shops and shopping mall were nearby for those interested. One of the best hotel experiences I've had!
Location is far from city area”
overall sea hawk is a nice place to spend for your holiday. staff always smile at you, my room had a nice view over beach & fukuoka tower. hawks town nearby also provides varieties of cuisine & shopping experience. the only thing i feel is the inconvenience of traffic connection to city's shopping area and airport. the nearst subway station needs 15-20 minutes walking, meaning you need to rely on bus or taxi traveling to shopping area. when leaving for the airport, only 2-3 bus arrangement in each hour and prepare yourself to bring luggage walking 10 minutes to the nearest hawks town station. if you travel in group of 4 people or more, i suggest you rent a taxi through concierge.
Friendly & Attentive Staff with Comfortable Rooms”
Our stay was excellent. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and attentive and most could speak English well. The hotel is not close to any subway, but the bus stop is located right at the hotel for easy transportation. It has good views of the Fukuoka Tower or the Fukuoka Yahoo Dome. Within walking distance to the Hawks Town Mall and Fukuoka Tower. Has it's own Family Mart convenience store in the lobby. Has a good number of restaurants available in the lobby. No wireless internet in the rooms, but has high-speed service in the rooms and wifi in the lobby. Room is a little worn in some places such as stains on the carpet or chips in the walls and bathroom vanity, but overall a great place to stay.
Beautiful property in a great location! ”
I traveled with a friend to Fukuoka and we were both very impressed with the wonderful service we received at this Hilton property. The location was wonderful. We could walk to many different things. There is Hawks Town nearby for a little bit of shopping and some food. We also walked in the opposite direction for about 20 minutes and found an amazing little izakaya at to have dinner one evening. The water was closeby also, but it started raining so we didn't get a chance to explore that area. We will definitely be going back and staying here!
great hotel, better with a car”
We enjoyed this hotel. The breakfast was a very good buffet in a beautiful sunlit area, and most excellent. Our room was nice, and had a beautiful view along the coastline to the west (away from the city). From the shape of the hotel, I would guess most rooms have beautiful ocean views. We didn't have a car, and the hotel is somewhat far from downtown Fukuoka (about a 2,500Y taxi ride), or 20min walk to the nearest subway stop. Walking-distance attractions include the Sea Hawk Yafuku dome, a mall, and Fukuoka tower, which has beautiful views of town, the shoreline, and the mountains behind the city.
Impressive hotel and service”
The best hotel deal I've ever had in Japan! Incredible hotel and service for the price if you can get a room at a discount on weekdays etc. However, if they are having an event at the Sea Hawk dome next door it can be impossible to get a room at any price.
great location but small rooms”
wonderful stay considering the cleanliness of the hotel and the location. i will really comeback and use this hotel again. the reception is ok and the stay is very safe and memorable. the price of the room is good and there is a convenience store at the lobby. the hard rock cafe is very near and the sea hawk mall is very accessible.
Beautiful luxury hotel”
Spent two pleasant nights here. Convenient to the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks stadium (ヤフオクドーム) which was great as we had tickets for the night game on the day of arrival. Drawback is that it is not close to the city center, so getting back out there takes planning. However, the 306 bus stops literally right in front of the building (there is a bus stop area on the B1 level accessible by the lobby elevators) and during the day it is relatively frequent. We had no problems getting out to Ramen Stadium in the city.
first i should note that the staff at this hotel take the covid situation seriously. after the cleaning staff exits your room, they put a seal on it so you know the room is clean and untouched. second, the location is fantastic. it has access to paypay dome and the huge shopping center mark is, which has decent food and shopping. you can also access e-zo fukuoka boss, which just opened on july 21. the hotel is near the beach and a 15min walk to fukuoka tower and the city museum. there are plenty of bus stops nearby as well. third, i visited the clouds restaurant and bar on my final night and it was a really lovely restaurant. the view is nice even on a rainy night. its worth a visit. the only slight complaint i have is that there are no menus online of any of the restaurant. for someone who does not speak japanese, and as a solo traveler, i was nervous going to a hotel restaurant not knowing whats available on the menu.
Great locations Great rooms overlooking open sea”
It is a fantastic hotel with great location on the sea beach. One can see open sea from the room. The service is great particularly because it is located next to Hawk baseball stadium, Hard Rock Caffe, some prominent Embassies, sea beach etc etc. We came a few time to this hotel and hope to return again and again.
Beautiful people and friendly service”
i am a first time traveler in japan, and i thank god that i found this wonderful hotel. the staff are extremely attentive to every need, the rooms are small as is typical of the four places that i have stayed at in fukuoka, niigata and tokyo. but it is reasonably priced, clean, i can walk to work or shop. any problems or questions get immediate attantion. breakfast is served by a wonderful lady who understands what i need to eat, and the breakfast is perfect! i will be here for four weeks, and i will be very happy with this arrangement!
I reserved a deluxe twin room for seven nights with a request for an extra bed as there were 3 of us. I got upgraded to a family room with 4 beds at no additional cost! And we had a room facing the beach so it was truly good! I did not opt forbreakfast to be included as they just have buffet breakfast & we are not really heavy eaters breakfastime. But you can always inform the desk if you want to have huffet breakfast & they can reserve a table for you. The Hilton Sea Hawk Fukuoka afforded us a memorable vacation.
Nice hotel, good service and great location”
Spent 4 nights on a business trip / conference held within the hotel. Room was spacious, clean and well made up. Staff are generally very courtesy and helpful - most of them do speak English. Liked the self contained shopping outlets - convenience store to Canterbury to the adjacent Dugout - retail outlet of the Softbank Sea hawks baseball team. Breakfast queues tended to be a bit long and the buffet spread was fairly much the same each day; but good choice if you wanted to try Kyushu styled ramen
An good hotel, offers the comforts of home”
A 15-minute walk from Tojinmachi station, the Seahawk is a great place to hang your hat in Fukuoka. I stayed here for 2 nights while I renewed my Korean visa and was really happy with the service and location, but especially the food! The Italian Buffet served things I hadn't been able to enjoy for ages: pesto, baguette, tortellini, and a vegetable selection that was positively dizzying. Breakfast the following morning was equally satisfying, and I found myself really happy that I'd decided to pay for the extra bit of comfort the Seahawk offered. Fukuoka itself isn't overly foreigner-friendly, and the Seahawk was a perfect bastion of service away from the cultural isolation I was feeling (especially as a solo traveler). It was great!
Excellent Business Hotel”
Family and I had great stay even though for only a day. Everything was in order and clean. Good location if you are a sea buff and like the water. Marine world is an excellent attraction that is only a ferry away. Other attractions include the adjacent Yahoo dome and Sea Hawk shopping area. Medical facilities are within walking distance if a medical emergency arises. Hotel staff are exceptional in insuring personal health needs are met.
Far from Hakata Station, but an impressive hotel”
I was surprised at how far the Hilton is from Hakata Station - it's a 2500 yen taxi ride! Much better and faster to take a bus for only 220 yen - number 305 or 306 from the bus terminal, and the stop is "Sea Hawks Hotel." The room needed refreshing - carpet was a little grim, but otherwise everything was up to expectation. Anyone interested in the Shizuoka Dome should stay here, since it's next door!
Excellent service ”
Spent a few nights in Fukuoka Hilton. Staff very helpful and accommodating including making dinner reservations when we were unable to in Japanese. Our light wasn’t working so they immediately fixed it and compensated us with a board of treats.
We are so happiness to live this Hilton. Next time go to Fukuoka must live here and already told my friend this is good choose. I'm Hilton member have free wifi, SPA , Drinks and food discount.
