Good location, clean room, good breakfast, value for money”
Centrally-located and a short walk away to Mongkok or Olympic stations. Stayed in a double room and it was clean and spacious. Staff were nice and approachable, and the breakfast spread was pretty good, with an omelette station and quite a few items to choose from, though nothing stellar if compared to higher-end hotels. But hey, you get what you pay for, and Hilton Garden Inn is definitely worth the price. A small complaint, though it might not be the hotel's fault, is that my (PRC) neighbours refused to close their room door during the night. They were loud and rowdy, and obviously smoking even though it was a non-smoking room.
Good hotel in the wrong place”
The Hilton Garden Inn is a slick, modern, well-fitted hotel with everything you expect from a Hilton except maybe a cafe and or a bar. It does have a bar, but it's just a corner of the reception area - hardly the place you would like to linger over a drink. And no coffee shop. It's drawback is that it's in a poor part of Mongkok. Mongkok is super-crowded even by HK standards, but the Hilton is in a gritty semi-industrial area where metal and electrical workshops spill out onto the pavement. It's a grubby 8-minute walk to the closest metro station. If you have a choice, stay on HK Island or in Kowloon, where there's more going on, where there are restaurants and bars you would like and the streets are cleaner. Maybe Hilton is banking on Mongkok becoming more traveller-friendly, but it'll be a while.
Clean, roomy and great location”
Very clean, roomy space for a rather 'cramp' Hong Kong. :) Great location - near the Mongkok shopping belt and while not in front of subway trains, its still very accessible to various parts of town.
Comfortable stay and great location”
As I booked knowing that it was not at the doorstep of MTR or Langham Place mall, I am quite comfortable with the short walking distance to hotel (felt nearer than expected). The environment is not typical of a Hilton....you'll passby Hardware stores, wet market, tires shops etc to get to the hotel. But well, isn't the rest of HK just like this without any urban planning? If you can get pass the surrounding environment, it's a great place to stay at a comfortable price. Spacious room (bigger than typical HK room), full hotel services, short distance to MTR/Langham and eateries/famous street all around.
Loved everything about my room and the hotel, maybe except the limited space to keep my luggage open but then again, I had a 29" luggage... The room itself is quite spacious; had a sofa at the window area besides the king bed. Good reputable brand of toiletries were provided and replenished daily. Shout out to the guest customer service, Michelle who was very friendly and helpful, and also the friendly and pleasant housekeeping lady. Location wise is very convenient, 3 mins walk to the nearest convenient store and a 24 hour supermarket, Wellcome, slightly less than 10mins walk to Mongkok MTR and endless eateries to explore, beauty and drugstores. Given that I'll be traveling to HK every alternate month or so, I'll definitely book this hotel for my future trips. Keep up the great work!
Brand New Hotel in Mongkok”
New hotel with friendly staff. Within walking distance to Mongkok Station. Comfy bed and good size room by Hong Kong standards. Only setback is Swimming pool is yet to be opened since it's a New hotel.
Clean, affordable stay around Mongkok area”
The hotel is about 5-10 mins walk away from Mongkok MTR, the staffs are helpful and friendly nearby shopping and eateries along the way to the hotel. the room size was good and clean, a comfortable & affordable stay for that price.
Good location and nice mattress”
Even though the room size is small, but nice mattress as Hilton group always does, and good location to go Mongkok area. Will recommend to friends. But the neighborhood area is old and dog poo poo can be found nearby the main route to hotel, it must be very careful to walk back at night time.
Convenient location for business travellers”
Hotel at residential area near subways(underground transport) 15 mins walk away. It is one of the Hilton garden line with facilities that makes a comfortable stay. Small tip for everyday commute, take short-ride taxi (cab) to the hotel from subway Olympics station would save hassles routing through narrow streets with local retail stores. Staff service is prompt in urban style. It's always good to call in advance with front desk to arrange taxi for your appointments. Good stay for business travellers.
Room was small but staff were nice”
Room was really small for the price, I guess this is just Hong Kong. Overall, the facilities were quite up-to date , the only flaw during my stay, is the construction site right infront of the hotel, making my luggage and bags dirty every time I entered the lobby.
Great clean comfortable rooms and excellent staffs”
The view from out room is absolutely stunning. The room was cleaned and bed was comfortable. The staffs were all serving with a smile, friendly and helpful. Too bad we didn't get to check out the pool but hopefully next time. Do highly recommend and would definitely come back for more Hilton!
Good value for money!”
The hotel is located around 10 minutes walk from the Mongkok Central area, the room is new and bigger compare to the room in other hotel. The staff are friendly too! The only cons is that it is quite dark at night as the shops nearby is hardware shop which close during evening time.
The Hilton Garden Inn in Mong Kok was comfortable. The rooms are small but still very good size. Beds are comfortable, staff are nice. Great place for a good price.
Pros: hotel is located in central location of Mongkok Cons: non smoking room smelled like smoking room. Disappointing for an international hotel such as Hilton.
Friendly staff and cleaness ”
Hilton hotel mong kok staff quite friendly and helpful. The hotel bed super comfort. But the location a bit far from MRt mong kok for d traveller who need carry heavy luggage a bit suffer
Terrible location and inefficient hotel staff”
Friend booked this hotel on Agoda looking at photos and description being close to MRT. However the actual site of the hotel is at least 8-10 mins away from either Yau Ma Tei or Mongkok station exit. Neighbourhood are all hardware shops n extremely quiet at night as all workshops are closed. The nearest 7-11 store is 4 streets away at Shanghai street. No nearby eatery or money changer. Hotel does not have money exchange service too. Nearest money changer is 4 streets away. If we take taxi bk to hotel, most taxi do not want to go all the way insde as it will take many turns to reach this hotel as the location is not easily accessible. The nearest way is to go in from Nathan Road turn left to Shan Tung St then straight to 甘霖街 turn left n then turn right to hotel. If from Tsuen Wan the driver will mostly drop us at Dundas St - Holiday Inn Express hotel, and we hv to walk in about 3 mins as driver wl take abt 5-8 mins to turn left n right to reach hotel. The staffs at reception took more than 1 hour to chk us in when all paymt was paid prior n we arrive after 3pm so all rooms shd be ready. Very slow service. The room hv a stale smell if aircon temp is set below 21 degrees. Bathroom water didnt drain well so after bath still step on at least 2 inches of water. Yesterday afternoon asked recep if they hv shuttle bus to airport, recep lady told me the pick up point is at the nearby Holiday Inn Express. I ask her to chk the price n time n call me bk in my room. No one returned my call. This morning someone called n ask me if i hv book the bus, i said No since there was no cfmtn!! What a lack of professionalism. I wondered how were they trained?? Tried to hv a drink n snack at the bar but the waitress hv a blurry look in her face, not sure why there was 2 menu with different pricing n most snacks are not available but offer 1 for 1 Happy Hour. What a joke!! We left n head for Cordis hotel for better service instead. I saw a plaque saying this hotel rated Very goo
Perfect in Mongkok”

Excellent Location/Good Room Size/Quiet Ambience/Good Amenities”
One of the few Hotel that has the user- friendly guest room design such as correct power points/USB/telephone at the right location. Bed and Linen are comfortable , quality toiletries provided. Quiet Room and Ambience .
Good hotel with walking distance to Mongkok MTR station ”
It is considered quite big hotel rooms compared to many HK hotels. There is a King sized bed in the room & come with a very long sofa beside the window. The hotel location is within 10 min walking distance to Mongkok station/Langham Place shopping mall depend how fast u can walk. Towards us, this hotel is good enough with the price we paid even the hotel is not located next to MTR station. Because as we know the HK hotel rate is normally quite high with very small hotel room. The front desk staff are helpful to assist us for asking the route & calling the taxi service.
A comfortable stay but not so Hilton ”
Overall the stay is comfortable, you can see they spend effort on bedding and toiletries. Besides, the breakfast was good, it provided varied kind of foods ranging from dim sum to waffles. It made my morning. However, the hotel is lack of facilities and cannot complete with some boutique hotels - the swimming pool is not open until June. - no sauna - no coffee capluse machine - no USB charging - no Bluetooth speakers(can u believe its an digital alarm without speaker in a newly built hotel?) Lastly, the f&b staff in the restaurant is not well trained, when I ask for breakfast option.. She simply told me go to serve myself in buffer area... Without introducing the instant order option to me. Is that Hilton standard?
